Okay?And if you insist on doing hot food, time things better with how you hand everything out.I came through the drive-thru tonight and got some ice cream and a chicken basket. The person handing out my ice cream asked if I needed lids on my ice cream and I declined, thinking it'd be just a moment before I got my food and left.Let me just say, you should have just plain lidded them if you KNEW the hot food would have taken a while. But no, by the time I realized what I was in for, it was too late and I was fighting a sundae, sipping melted ice cream off the top so it wouldn't go all over my car.I highly recommend that, if you are going to have someone deliver the hot food anyway, you deliver the ice cream at the same time as well. This was appalling. I was in such a sour mood getting home with everything, I almost just plain threw my food out....it makes me sick to my stomach how badly this situation was handled on your end.Please rethink how you handle hot food at the drive thru. Please, dear God. And don't just "offer" lids for multiple ice creams to a single driver who is going to waiting a while for food. Just do it...because ice cream melts....and someone (like me) who doesn't normally order hot food at Dairy Queen and isn't aware it takes a day and a half to make and get out to people....is going to be the only one who suffers....Such a shame.

I love the cook by the name of Dorothy....She is the only reason to go or eat there I know it is quality when Dorothy is making my meal. I like that Dairy Queen is always fresh and I don't mind waiting. I just never realized how poor you have to be to own a Dairy Queen! After all right wasn't able to feed my child while at his home. So I recommend next time taking them home food from your business.

Just order food from online go up my bf sat at the speaker no one answered went to the door there was a written note saying they open at 11 when online said 10 the manger said they would re make it made 2 trios got food all the ice cream was melted they didn't flip blizzards they poked a whole in my cup and put 2 cups and lids you could tell food wasn't remade I had brown lettuce and all she did when I call was attuide and said I'm the only one here well shouldn't be open then and said I could show you the food I threw away and blamed why no one answered the speaker the plow guys messed up cones I guess when that's not their job but when my bf called the first time to see what happened they said they weren't trying to get headset on in time so lied to make excuses and tell me they don't have a corporate number ridiculous ill never go there again

Always a pleasure going here, we actually drive 25 minutes out of our way to go to the Kittanning Dairy Queen.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid friendly outdoor dining area, as well as a kid friendly dining area. Very clean and well maintained.

First time visitors yesterday, employees were an absolute delight!!! They talked to my son and did their very best to accommodate his special request. He was very pleased. One of the best DQ visits.Kid-friendliness: My son had a request the employee wasn't sure she could pull off (sprinkles on a dipped cone) not only was she honest and promised to try (which she did pull off !!!!) She offered a reasonable alternative "just in case". It was refreshing to see employees engaging with customers of all ages.

Quick service. Drive through worker was very friendly. It’s ice cream so you’d assume it’s pretty easy to get right. They didn’t just “get it right” but went above & beyond! Sprinkles layered in all 3 dishes. Bananas in my sundae were strategically placed throughout and even wagon wheeled around the top! Presentation is key & they have it spot on! Great job guys🍦

Mr. Dairy Queen, (owner), just saw you at Aldi's a couple hours ago. Cashier got your food mixed up with ours. I thought I recognized you but wasn't sure. Couldn't figure out where from or I would have paid for your items. I've always like your restraunt. Food, and ice cream is still a hit with my family. 42 years ago my wife and I had just gotten married. You found out and gave our meals for free. I wish I had done the same a couple hours ago. Your restraunt has always been special and always had good service. By far my favorite Dairy Queen. Thanks for your kindness and memory.

We went for ice cream! 7 cars in front of us at the drive through but the line moved incredibly fast! Ordered 2 peanut buster parfaits and a small plain vanilla ice cream in a dish (for our furry kids lol). We expected a rushed order and got perfection! Friendly staff from start to end too! I should mention it was around 7:30pm when employees are usually tired. The service we had will bring our family back!

I use to be satisfied with the service and understood staffing is difficult to find but when you walk in for a ice-cream cake get it out of the cooler just to have a employee walking around WITH A SMILE on her face and tell you she can't check your product out at the ice cream line you have to go stand in the food line , you just lost a cake sale and a customer

Stopped in for lunch today; we each had a 1/2 lb. burger and fries combo. The fries are excellent- very crispy and not greasy. The burger however was dripping in grease - the bun was wet. Could definitely use some seasoning on the burgers! Not horrible for the price.

Edit: stopped today and service was amazing! They came outside and took my order, double checked my order. Got me the right things in a timely manner. Prices were correct this time and was extremely friendly! This was my first time back since my last review and I'm glad I decided to stop! Thank you! Left my old review at the bottom .Make sure you watch your prices. Sadly this will probably be the last time I go there. The tag says 13.99 but they charged 19.98???? When questioned they said oh someone put the wrong lid on.... 😑

Lady t register didn't know how to put in an order for an upside-down banana split after I asked for one with chocolate ice cream then after someone explains to her how she give me one with vanilla ice cream and argue ls with me that I didn't ask for chocolate ice cream but yet I know what and how to order my food so I'm absolutely positive 100% she was told chocolate several times thru out my order and yet wants to argue I got what I got and that's it😡😡😡😡😡😡

Love Dairy queen! I always order my kids' birthday cakes here if I don't make them myself. Their burgers are amazing too. They get overlooked a lot because of mcdonalds, Wendys, and others but they really are good!

Got the honey bbq chicken basket and it wasn’t bad. After I finished that u got a nestle toll house cookie blizzard and there was a hair on the spoon. I still ate a couple bites but shortly after I began to feel sick. I went home and threw up 10 times. Never eating here again. Was a very rough experience

Kids favorite fast food. Kittanning DQ is the best especially their double fudge frozen hot chocolate. No other dairy queen knows how to make them like there. The owner is awesome too.

A place that has a great choice of food PLUS take home desserts. Their ice cream cake is the only one my kids & me will eat. Their hot food is also really good. My kids loved playing in the play area and I love that they also provide an area for everyone to sit and enjoy their food. Their Vanilla is THE BEST

Food is as you expect at a Dairy Queen. Same as the ice cream. Delicious. Environment was very clean and enjoyable. Love the extras like the added playroom for the little ones. One of the older, I'm guessing managers was a bit unfriendly and bossy towards the younger workers. Still highly recommended.

Love that there's an indoor AND outdoor play area for the kids. By far the most requested restaurant by my kiddos. Great food and ice cream, very friendly staff.

Ordered 2 mini blizzards, and a shake for dine in. Half hour later I asked where my ice cream was only to get a confused look. She finally pulled the 2 mini blizzards out of freezer then proceeded to make my shake. Thanks DQ for wasting my time.

It was always good until recently. I waited 30 mins for my order and they messed it all up and gave me the wrong sandwiches and I called them to tell them and they said they can't do anything about it and that it's not their problem. Then 2 days later I go up for breakfast and get there at 10:52 and they said breakfast was over at 11. I said it's not 11 yet and they said it's close enough. What a way to treat your customers. I'll never go back and I usually go there atleast 4 times a week.
