This is the best affordable kennel dog place in the entire world. Life time warranty and the best friendly customer service reps ever. My husband picked me out a beautiful baby girl. Jen was the one whom helped us first with our deposit. Then we went back two days later and Holly helped us with the actual purchase of our baby girl. This place is clean , nice and friendly and a lot of puppy buddies for you to choose from. Come get you one. I have a sweet little sweetie. And yes she is already spoiled. Clothes , love , food , huge bed , her own room and her at home furry family members. Thank you Ridgewood Kennels. For loving animals and your customers.Mr. Mike Ms. Holly and Ms. Jen are all fabulous folks. Mike is so sweet. We visited this kennel after researching many candidates. It was a bit of a ride but we were rewarded with a great little puppy. When we entered we found a clean, organized store, with friendly, helpful staff. They had a large kennel of puppies available. The puppies were clean, had many of their shots, there were areas to visit individual puppies to get to know them. We had viewed a list of puppies on their website and started with the first one on the list named Viv, she stole our hearts and we never got to #2. We are approaching two months with Lucy, yes we renamed her. She has been a joy to us the whole time and look forward to many years with her. If you're interested in getting a new puppy, we would recommend you consider AA Ridgewood Kennel's. We did and are glad.

Positive experience! Associate was very helpful and answered all my questions when I called. When we arrived, the puppy we inquired about was brought out into a play area. We brought our older dog in and he was able to meet the puppy.Very happy with our new puppy! I definitely recommend checking out this place for your next puppy!

I never leave reviews, but this time I feel like it’s necessary. We got a wonderful beautiful puppy from this place 5 years ago. Contract states their puppies are protected from certain genetic illnesses, like luxating patella. It’s easy to diagnose it, and avoid breeding dogs with this condition. Now she is going through a second surgery( stopped walking), a lots of pain, discomfort, care, not to mention 10k for both surgeries. The recovery takes months! Please rethink getting your pup from this place !!!

The owner posted a comment. I called voluminous times as she stated because we were trying to reach her about a very serious problem. She had a nail in her belly which was reported to Jen, a nice individual, but not the owner. The nail piece was not the problem that killed her. I sent ober 30 pages of vet treatment and costs plus the diagnosis which was IMTP and PLE. The nail was easily removed and could have been done with an endoscope. The only reason it was not done that way was because of preexisting infections. The autoimmune problem allowed things already in her to reproduce rapidly. She was listed as 100% Maltese and was not. Of the 7 or 8 vets who treated her, all said she was just an unfortunate, sick pup. Just like a child born with cancer. It's not fair, It happens rarely but when it does, it's devastating. The nail removal cost 500$. The rest was due to IMTP and PLE. She was allergic to rabies vaccine which does happen infrequently but is required by law.She had to eat vegetable protein which isn't even real dog food. She required chlorambucil, a chemotherapeutic agent. This was not from a nail, it was a horribly awful immune system problem. We bought a beautiful Maltese and named her Ivy. She wasn't purebred Maltese as advertised and I still have the papers. She died so soon after we got her. It cost $12,000 plus in medical care. She had a nail in her belly. It had no sharp point on it and the head wasn't on the nail. The surgery was very easy and no damage was done. The problem that killed her was IMTP. It can be serious or mild. I was assured by the owner a 100% refund and she stated she she wished she could give more. When Ivy's immune system was wiped out, she got all types of infections because her body was destroying itself instead of infectious problems. I haven't heard from the owner or received the refund. It makes me sick that someone can care so little. When you purchase a pup, check their gums. If very pale, do not purchase. The problem could be genetic. We won't know because she's dead. The rabies shot is what put this horrible set of circumstances in place. It's just like a child being given peanuts or peanut butter. It's genetic but you don't know it until it happens. It was her first rabies vaccine. She was prepped with Benadryl before hand by our vet. Two days later, it looked like she was in heat because of the blood. Her platelet count was so low that it couldn't be measured on a machine. As we spent time at the animal hospital, it was realized that every type of protein in her body was destroyed. I can't tell you how painful it was watching her die as we fought to keep her alive. Our suffering was awful but hers was so much worse. I was assured that Ivy was not vaccinated with the same needle as another pup by the Amish farmer who bred her. The shots were administered by him.. I still have no one to prove it to me that it was a separate needle. I was assured by Jen that was the case. I don't have any paperwork from them to prove that was the case. I spoke with an Amish farmer, not the one who bred her. They were a very kind family who have vet checked and vet vaccinated pups and have the paperwork to prove it.Its better to just go to the Amish, meet the puppy and it's parents and speak directly with the people who know their pups. All the dogs I know of here came to Ridgewood Kennels from Amish or Mennonite farms. No one at this dealership cares if these pups are not vet checked. They aren't and it says so in the contract.

We brought Cookie home with us today and she is the cutest little girl 💗 Holly and Mike were great responding to my numerous chats before I went to pick her up. When we got to the office, it was very clean, very well maintained and had a lot of items to purchase. Jen was there when we arrived and helped tremendously picking out the correct size harness! Got a Caviston puppy here after doing extensive research on this breeders practices. Midpandemic so the prices were a bit insane but haven't regretted it for a second. It's been forever since we had a puppy, so the instructions on feeding and crate training were very helpful.Puppy slept through the night from day 1, got a clean bill of health from the vet and is doing fantastic. With the cavalier in her I thought separation anxiety might be an issue, but she does fine when left home alone for a few hours. Such a part of the family we already can't imagine life without her. Wouldn't hesitate to come back to this breeder of we ever want another puppy.

Update: Our boy is almost 2 and the most perfect pup, happy and healthy!* Great experience in us getting our Cavapoo, (formerly Tigger) ! Holly was very responsive via email to our questions prior to adoption since we are about 3.5 hours away. We also appreciated being able to faceTime with him prior to pickup. He is such an amazing, smart pup who learned commands very quickly! Everything at our vet checked out really well and we are looking forward to giving him another fur sibling from Ridgewood in the future :)

Wonderful experience love that we were able to walk in and find our forever puppy. Gus is now Milo and he fits right on in with our family! 💖❤️ although he was nervous, once he got home and met his big brother and sister he had the time of his life. Milo follows me around all day and sleeps so well with us! Potty training has been a breeze we are more than happy to tell our friends to come here. We waited for 2 years at YCSPCA and it was annoying that we couldn't find a puppy and the customer service is trash.

Got my sweet baby Cockapoo Benji (formerly Scotch) from Ridgewood. Ridgewood gave great instructions and the first night went smoothly. Their store/facility was clean and the puppies looked well cared for. I received his shot and vet info from them which was up to date. He is so smart and funny and already knows a couple words like "stairs" to get onto my bed which im impressed by, and is already crate trained. Could not be happier, thank you. <3

Bought 2 puppies that were in great health. Friendly service. My only woe came with the 2nd puppy was he wasn’t as clean and fresh as we felt should’ve been the standard. Yes we called and picked him up early but puppies should be presentable at all times.

True to their warranty. Dog was nearly potty trained when I got her . home crate training was easy with thorough instructions on how to take care of her when I got her home. Little pricey but they did alot of immunizations that I didn't have to take care of myself. Thanks.

I came here a few weeks ago to purchase a puppy. I checked into the breeder which was a commercial kennel in PA. The breeder was licensed to sell to pet stores and had up to date inspections (I checked with the state). The puppy was healthy, well fed, well adjusted, and 99% perfect according to the vet.The overall experience was good. The woman was very nice and helpful. She was very knowledgeable which was helpful to a 1st time buyer. The establishment is very clean, the puppies are happy and well cared for. They even allowed my puppy to interact with another younger puppy.My only negative was that it was not clear that the breed was a mix until we got to the paperwork phase, she was listed as a Toy Smooth Fox Terrier. I did not find out till the end that it was actually a mix between a toy and a regular sized Fox terrier. I don't think this was done intentionally to mislead me, and it may just be because of my lack of experience. For the future, I would suggest including a slash between Toy and Smooth to highlight that it is a mix.Thanks for the awesome puppy!

Here is our sweet girl Cappuccino. She is beautiful, smart, and energetic! Her vet said she is healthy and there were no concerns with her. The staff at Ridgewood Kennels are friendly, knowledgeable; informative; and timely in their responses, whether it be through email or their website chat. They have been a helpful resource prior to and after purchasing our puppy. The puppy also comes with feeding instructions, a house/potty training guide, and a lifetime warranty. The facility was clean and organized, and the meet and pickup process was smooth. I highly recommend Ridgewood Kennels if you are looking for a healthy, loving furry addition to your life or your family.

I can’t remember if I gave a good review 1.5 years ago when I adopted my dog when he was returned by the purchaser because of allergies. In August 2020 I saw Ridgewoods post about a 10 week old Shichon being returned after 4 days because a family member was allergic to the dog. Ridgewood did NOT try to resell the dog to me. Instead they charged a very reasonable adoption fee. Plus they gave me the crate, toys, food that the family bought. They were a pleasure to deal with and I send everyone to them for a dog. My baby is now about to turn 2 and is in perfect health, so smart and such a good boy. Thanks for changing my life.

Look no further. Picked up my sweet cavapoo last week. After months of researching I am so happy with my decision to try AA Ridgewood Kennels II. You can stop your research because they are a no nonsense business. They know their stuff and are extremely professional. The place is immaculate and the dogs all seemed very happy and in good care. The first night my puppy skipped dinner. He must have been tired and stressed from the long car ride (which he slept through). And I was already warned that this may occur.But by the next day he ate all his breakfast. My puppy is vet checked and healthy. He loves his playpen, sleeps through the night, eats well and already knows to go outside when I say “let’s go potty”. I obsessively looked at the store’s App and Facebook videos before I visited. My only surprise was how much smaller and cuter the puppies were in person!

Recently I visited this place. Puppies were kept in small cages, over 20 of them . When we looked through the big window all of them dogs went crazy. They were screaming pick me, pick me. This reminds me of the day 20 years ago at Petstore I got my Lhasa from them . But there was no yapping no barking. Why ? Someone obviously took care of it so they weren't hungry for human touch. I can say that this place doesn't take care of their dogs like they suppose to do. For $1500 for a puppy it's not a pocket change for everyone.

What a great place to get a small breed puppy. I'm so glad I found AA Ridgewood Kennels. Holly is very responsive and Jen was a pleasure to work with on the day we picked up our Emmie (Song). It is obvious they care about the puppies and they make the process simple, even though we are all living under COVID 19 conditions. They offer lifetime guarantees, but I'm sure it will not be needed. Emmie was given a clean bill of health the day after we brought her home. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Friendly super knowledgeable staff.....definitely not a puppy mill. Nice selection of quality puppies at both locations, but found it quite pricey. After visiting I understand a reason prices may not be listed online....may scare some away. Our family drove 90 minutes to visit only to learn prices were out of our league. Understood they have costs to cover and dogs are vet checked and shots given as appropriate. That being said, they surely are doing it right with quality pets to be in business for 40+ years. Tons of valuable info on their website too. Plus it's great to support a local family business over the large chain stores if you can do so. Recommended business.....hence the 4 star rating. Just was not a match for our family's needs & means.

0/5 stars if i could…. they tell you that if you put in a deposit you get first pick out of the “litter” but in reality its a scam to get your money… then when you call they don’t answer. Have to call through a number they don’t know for them to answer my calls. Ridiculous and so unprofessional. I wouldnt be surprised if Im not the first one this has happened to.

We visited on February 10th a half an hour before they closed to look at a puppy we had seen online. Jen was the person who helped us and despite us keeping her there past 5 when they closed she always made us feel welcomed and never rushed us. The kennel was clean and you could tell they love the puppies. We purchased a bichonpoo and we love her. She is so good already with sleeping in her crate and she even went to the door of the house to let us know she had to go. Very pleased with the puppy and how well Ridgewood took care of her.

I purchased my 3 month old yorkie Mi'zaki she is so adorable and loving. When I took her for her vet check she had problems with her knees. Once I contacted the pet store they honored their agreement in the contract, with a full refund or an option of picking another dog however we could not dream of giving up our baby. It was really nice to see that they honor the contract. I strongly recommend if your looking to purchase an animal, Ridgewood kennel is definitely the place for you

My wife wanted a Maltapoo and though the puppy was more expensive than at other kennels it was a white and carmel which was what she wanted. Holly and the staff were helpful; and seem to truly care about the animals.We have had the puppy for a little over a week and she seems healthy and acclimateing well to her new home. Very loving, intelligent and playful, she is growing and putting on weight even in this short time period. We all love her very much.

Please visit this place before you pay for a deposit.I paid a $200 deposit to buy a cockapoo named Faith. Unfortunately my work schedule changed and I asked the owner Holly if I could get the dog on 10/10/2021. Holly stated that it wouldn’t be a problem, but she asked for $400 to hold the dog. I accepted it as a fair deal. Holly said that I could give my credit card number through the phone in order to pay the $400 dollars. I decided to pay for it at the store. I’m glad I went to the store.At the store I was able to see Faith. She had a strong smell. I understand young puppies should not have a bath, but wiping is acceptable. I still paid $400 deposit for Faith. Then the employee at the store said that I would need to paid another's $200 to hold the dog until 10/10/2021. Total $800 deposite before getting Faith. I didn’t pay the extra $200. The employee at the store was rude and didn’t care about answering all my questions.I sent an e-mail to Holly, asking her about the inaccurate information and to let her know that I was concern about Faith’s care. At that point my total deposit was $600. Holly answer my e-mail with a passive aggressive e-mail. At the end of the-mail she said “ I’m happy to refund your deposit if your disappointment and concern of our care for the puppies is so great that the above doesn’t ease it.” I sent another e-mail saying that I still have many questions and concerns and would be best to receive my deposit. The deposit she said she would be happy to refund.Holly did not reply my e-mail, but had time to add Faith for sale again on her website this morning.I’m struggling with a major depression and Faith was going to be my emotional support animal. This situation made me feel worst. I paid $600 deposit because I really wanted that dog. Any breeder should be able to listen to costumers concerns and apologize for inaccurate information among her and her employees. The poor way I was treated made me to give up getting the dog.I waisted $600 for nothing. All I got was inaccurate information and lack of professionalism.So please visit that place before you waist your money. Don’t let your desire to get a dog to compromise your judgment.Updated 10:28pmOnce again your lack of communication with a client leaded to this review. You didn’t reply my e-mail to let me know that a refund had been done.You prefer to argue than take accountability. I wish luck to your new costumers. This is the worst costumer service I have seen. Even Amazon let clientes know when a refund have been done and apologizes for making mistakes.The only hostile communication came from you and your employee. I’m glad Faith found a good family who will take good care of her.

Our puppy is amazing. Healthy, happy! I love that they don't deal with puppy mills and they also ween the puppies for a longer time so they don't have so much anxiety leaving. The process was a bit longer than I expected but we are ecstatic

We got a cavapoo puppy from here and named her Muffin. She is so sweet and well-behaved.Right now, she’s only 10 weeks old but she’s an angel. She prefers to pee outside over inside, and found her own spot in the grass to pee every time.She gets excited when she sees someone coming up to her, and she’s getting along with our other dog (chihuhua) and our cat.She’s healthy and happy and has been eating well. :)
