I used to stop at this location constantly seeing as the one by my house is so filthy I can’t bring myself to go in there. The store used to be a lil more organized but the couple of times I’ve stopped in lately it’s been a bunch of cluster everywhere. I also recently just found some black mold at the one by my house in their coolers and was curious if I’d find it here and of course I did. Smh be careful your kids don’t touch anything by the cooler area in any DG location and I wouldn’t by them anything to drink or eat that comes from their coolers.**I messaged Dollar General about it and they decided to just read the message and not reply with anything so the BBB has been contacted and the health department is next on the list. Someone’s gonna get sick from this one of these days

I love this locating because it's so convent the prices are decent and most of staff is friendly the only down fall is the shelf are not kept stocked and there always something in the isle blocking you from getting stuff off a shelf and it's not very organized

Too cluttered. Thier was a mess EVERYWHERE. The manager was VERY polite which was nice.I stepped down in the aisle and hit a pothole. No joke. The warning sign was in the next aisle over. I hurt my knee.WILL NEVER BE BACK.

The freezers and fridges are not always full and the store is usually a mess. I only go to this location because it's close to my house and I can get the few things that I do go there for pretty quickly. That is, if there's enough staff not just taking their merry sweet time putting things away.

I went in for 1 item. When i got there, the line was so long it was a quarter of the way down the main aisle. When i got in line, it had only moved by 1 person. There was only 1 register open and the rest of the workers were barely stocking shelves. Finally the manager came up in her attitude ridden voice and said "I can take a couple people." A couple? There's 11 people in line and you just want a couple? I'm sick of the line always being half way down the main aisle. They need more/better workers. And the manager has to go. More than once have my husband and i had less than pleasant encounters with her. If i could give the Kingston, pa location negative stars, i would.

This place was awesome I had went into this very fine establishment and my standards were low and then there it was stepped up to the door and it had opened automatically like i was important to them and they had been waiting just for me and then yes I said and then the clerk said with a smile good evening Wow I was flabbergasted !!! Then I went down several isle's and there were several items that were reasonable priced. Upon check out the clerk was very nice and also was like hey you have a great night and I was like wow I have to go and accomplish said task . So here goes went home put pellets in the stove it's going to be cold tonight are my boneless wings from Nina's which were good but by then it was getting late I had started watching impractical Jokers and since I had woke up early I was feeling quite tired so I had retired to bed . Now it's the next day and I feel as if I had wasted last night and the clerk's well wishes to have a good evening it was alright, good as a matter of fact but it was not a great night and I am saddened by I had let him down. I hope I can find a card to express my sincerest apologies for not living up to the man he thought I could be but don't worry I'm going to put in the work and plan tonight out and it is going to be wild .

Just left Dollar General. Great to shop there. Customer Service is so helpful and always so nice. I used to shop at major markets for the weekly essentials such as bread, eggs, condiments, and pastas, etc but I found that Dollar General is much cheaper in price even for top brands. Thanks, Marie

We stopped in for a greeting card. The entire store is absolutely filthy. The glass in the front door is busted. When we entered, both employees were behind the counter playing on their phones. There were packing slips and price tags laying all over the floor, which looks like it hadn’t seen a mop in years. Products were knocked off the shelves, laying on the floor in every aisle, and there were even dirty, used Q-Tips laying on the floor. The manager should be ashamed at the state of this store. Will never spend money in this disgusting store!

This particular store had an ignorant portly girl who had a long line and told the other associate who came to offer help, no she didnt need assistance. Then after 2 customers left their carts and merchandise, I asked if there was another employee to help she said no. When I told her I had saw her tell the young lady she didnt need help she told me I had to deal with it. Ultimately 3 customers left their merchandise. Rude and horrible service.

I shopped dollar general in Kingston.the store is well kept ,neat and clean.the girl who checked me out was Alyssa.she was very polite and courteous.she is an asset to your store.thank you Alyssa! You make shopping there pleasurable.

Everytime I'm in that store there's not enough employees. Always waiting in a huge line and always problems with registers and checking out with a card!. Needs update. I'm so sick of need to run to the store quick and it ends up taking half an hour because the register are old or because there's one cashier with 15 people in line!! Do something already!!

Very dirty. Very unorganized. I think these stores all need to be closed for a few days just to be painted, scrubbed, and updated. They are convenient and you can often grt a deal, but the stores are just getting gross.

I like the dollar generals. Per say. The are beating Walmart at their own game.Dollar General has capital and buys in bulk quantities and will pay the note of early giving the dollar general another round of discounts on the same product.Its the same thing Southwest did in the 90's and into the 2000' with fuel prices.This enabled South West to lower flying rates and beat the the other airlines.

$$$$$$ General is my favorite small store for just about anything I need. The staff is great and store is always clean. Prices are great if you shop other stores. Like anything else compare before you buy.

I shop there all the time for all my dog treats and HBC needs. Very reasonable, and if you shop on Saturdays, you can get 5.00 off of a 25.00 order! Plus, there are all sorts of digital coupons. Go to Google and type in Dollar General digital coupons and there is the 5.00 coupon and other ones. You just click on the ones you want and when you check out, you type your phone # into the adt machine and that's it! Good luck!

Kind workers very understanding ...my daughter went to dollar general and was a little short on what she was trying to buy....one of the employees at the cash register paid the difference out of her own pocket god bless you 🙌🏽 customer service is great....very kind highly recommend people shop here 😊

Hello Dollar general charged me a extra 8 $ when I saw it was 10.13 so it came to 18.00 some dollars anyway these people Are rude and irresponsible The girl at the register had gray hair so she is taking advantage of customers Will not reccomend to anyone dollar general sucks to work for they dont now how to train and treat people

The inventory was depleted and when I asked a question about availability another person who overheard ( perhaps a manager or assistant) snapped an answer loudly and with a very rude tone. I admit, the next time I need supplies I will shop at another dg location although it will b farther away.

Employee took items I d purchasing right out of my hands for her own purchase here, store is always filthy, U-boats over stacked and dangerous everywhere, bags of trash left in aisles, empty boxes everywhere. Worst Dollar General in the valley.

The greetings cards are reasonably priced. If you are shopping for holiday cards the selection is fairly large and the cards are of good quality. Why pay more.

Lines are long not enough cashiers and the people seem Moody you ask questions and it's like they don't even want total to you also their cleaning liquids shelves are always bare

Their carts are always all over the parking lot (employees not retrieving them, hitting cars). The manager of the store is very unprofessional and rude to customers.
