Stellar customer service on top of great inventory and selection. I was on a mission for a women’s hiking shoe with little time to spare. My timing was perfect because Nolan stepped right up with a smile and totally took care of me with ease, insight and knowledge on the various choices. Loved his energy and personality. Checkout was awesome too as Gavin had a great vibe as well. The store is clean, well-lit and well stocked. Staff were available everywhere. Great to be at such a happy and vibrant store. The store scores!

Amazing store! My kids are all campers, hikers, bikers, boulderers, etc and rave about this company but I have never gone. Today I just wandered around, loving the amount of choices. The staff were helpful to this old lady first timer!( especially Kieran and Paul), and I ended up joining🙃.Love the co-op concept and will happily return again!

I love how hands on the store is. I came in not knowing exactly what I needed for my trip but every employee that assisted me was happy to help me find exactly what I needed. From the first timer to the experienced outdoors person, there's something here for everyone.

I was in REI @KOP today for a weird situation. Over the holidays I lost the charging cable to my Garmin watch. My battery was down to 1%. The manager on duty today (New Years Day) I believe was named Travis, managed to find me one from a returned item; even though they don't actually sell chargers. I'm very grateful for REI having great employees and stellar service!

Great experience with post purchase support for my co-op bike (about a year later). John had great customer service and gave me a replacement part for a skewer screw which was stripped on my bike. He spent a long time checking with vendors for replacement parts and ended up finding something suitable in stock. Things like this go a long way. Super happy with my bike and the service.

Bad customer service...I was marginalized (bias).I reported it to the manager, who was polite; which gave me hope- My hope was in vain.They have great socks and shoes, but I will spend my money somewhere where service does not vary by race.

Difficult to emphasize how awful as ski shop this is. In my experience the Boot fitters and technicians were extremely incompetent. Save your feet and go somewhere else.

Went there to get fitted for and to purchase a backpack and grab a few other things. The pair of shoes that I tried on, I requested for in another color but she brought me out a normal instead of the wider size I had tried on even though we had a full conversation about needing a wide. I unfortunately didn’t double check that the different color was wide as well and purchased them. Basically useless now and I live an hour away. The one person who measured me for my backpack made me feel extremely uncomfortable after he continued to get extremely closed to me after my measurements were done. It was nice he was enthusiastic but he really needs to learn spatial awareness with his customers, especially women. I was going to purchase the backpack there but the experience with him made me so anxious I just wanted to leave right away and never talk to an employee there again.

This is one of the larger REI locations with alot of items in stock. They have two floors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If it's outdoor clothing or equipment that you're looking for them look no further than this location.

I ordered my daughter and I mountain bikes online from REI this morning around 7am. They were ready to pick up by 11am. Process was easy and convenient. This was my first time there and it is a nice big store with two levels. I'll have to update this review after I get home and try out the bikes.

I brought (2) 25 year old bicycles here for maintenance. The staff was conscious of my budget. They looked the bikes over and gave a rough cost estimate but said they would call when they get they start working on the bikes. I got a call a few days later telling me what they recommend and the cost, they also gave me the option to do less for a temporary fix! I opted to have what was needed for getting the bikes in excellent working order ! Picked up a few days later and both bikes ride like new bicycles! Appreciated all the options given for saving a few dollars!

I have been a REI customer for at least 20 years. In June of 2021 I bought a Grand Hut tent from the KOP store. A few weeks ago I used it for the second time and one of the poles bent. Upon returning it I was told by the manager that it was probably caused by improper set up and since I had bought it more than a year ago they would not allow me to return it. The. when I asked about getting the poles replaced or repaired I was informed that REI does not carry replacement poles or do repairs. The manager explained that if they carried the replacement poles it would hurt their bottom line and they’d be stuck with inventory once the tents become obsolete. They then gave me the website of an outside company who supposedly does pole repair and replacement. So now, I’m stuck with a $300+ tent and I have to figure out how to get it fixed. I will no longer be bringing my business to REI. They don’t stand behind their products, terrible customer service and they have gone from having reputable outdoor recreation gear to selling trendy and gimmicky junk. Don’t waste your money folks! Me personally, from now on I will be buying my camping equipment on Amazon or Sierra in Exton

Took my boots to get fitted twice at REI. Instead of widening a ski boot they actually managed to shrink it. It seems they heated it up but did not put anything in it to allow it to set so it shrunk smaller than the original size. Went skiing for about five hours and have had about 6 months of foot pain. Love REI for outdoors gear but be wary of their King of Prussia ski shop. The employees while friendly clearly are very poorly trained.

Placed an online order for in-store pickup, called on the last day (2nd) to have it extended because I wouldn't be able to come in until the weekend. Spoke with a female employee, she said she would extend it until the 7th because they need the shelf space for other orders which is understandable. Went to the store on the 6th to pick up but they could not locate the order because it was canceled. The items were also no longer available in store and there were no notes on their end about the call. Meanwhile I have not received an email saying my order was canceled and I wasted over 30 mins driving to pick up.

They literally have at least 2 huge signs posted about how there is no discrimination in their store and that they are super inclusive. Then why not vary your price points of items in your store so it is accessible to more people? Have the super high end things but also have good quality items for medium prices. That would feel like true inclusion. The staff could improve in their demeanor...didn't feel welcoming.

Fantastic experience!! Wife and I Went here to pick out packs to start camping & hiking with. The level of help/customer service we received was top notch. They Sized us, then grabbed and packed up a few packs for us to try on. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Was honestly so blown away with how great this experience was, will for sure be going back here!

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable in their areas of focus. Their facility is clean and well-maintained. They offer a variety of outdoor and seasonal services. The turnaround times for snowsport gear and bikes are quick. This store does not have the space for an REI ReSupply (garage sale), but another REI in the area does. They offer a fairly wide selection of good quality items. In-store pickup is available, but the staff's recommendations appear to be worth the visit. Lifetime membership is worth it for all the extras you get (looking at you discounted lift tickets). Overall a great experience.

Overpriced and understock. Take out a second mortgage and shop there for hideous looking Berkenstocks and packs of dried peas for $20, or find the same stuff online for 1/3 of the prices at REI.

This store has the best customer service I have ever experienced! Maddy the boot tech, was the absolute best with helping me find the right boot and make the exchange with the other boots. It was very frustrating having defects in the Asolo boots, both times. She helped me analyze the quality features I was looking for and we were able to zero in on the Lowas. Outstanding!
