Playtime Pet Resort in Downtown is the best. The facility is so clean and welcoming. The staff are amazing, especially Christina and Karleigh. My dogs love the personalized attention and we love knowing that "our babies" are safe and well cared for. I would recommend them to any and all owners.

this was my first time putting my dog in daycare. i think $35 isn't bad. it was pretty last minute; we scheduled the evaluation for the day before we needed her first daycare day. i was pretty worried because i adopted her only a few months ago and she definitely has a lot of separation anxiety. surprisingly, everything turned out fine! i received detailed report cards with photos of her and her new friends. she did come back smelling very strongly (no way to sugarcoat it), but a bath fixed that right up. i guess there's not much they can do about that. i would recommend playtime pet resort!

Over the past two years, our Newfoundland has stayed for short (3-day) and very long (6-week) periods. We’ve been very pleased with the quality of her care, the attentiveness of the staff, the flexibility of the options, and the cost. Highly recommended!

Playtime Pet Resort in Downingtown is one of favorite places! The people are so professional and friendly, the facility is clean and organized, and it’s easy to see that the staff and management really care for the dogs. They are also conveniently located, open 365 days a year, and have someone on-site 24/7. My pup comes home happy, tired, and I feel comfortable that he has been well cared for while he is there.

Always had the best experience at playtime. I can tell my dog had a good day every time I pick her up from daycare. She always has a big smile on her face ear to ear. All the staff are super friendly and professional. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

I am so happy with this resort. I asked for a tour and was shown around by Dan the co-owner. It is well organized, clean, and the dogs that were there were having a great time! I scheduled an evaluation for my puppy Jax who is a year old. He is a Maltese so a small boy. They place the dogs by size and energy level. The day I brought him to play there were no small dogs. But, not to worry as Jax interacted with other dogs who were larger but older and loved playing with him as much as he did them. They sent me a video and pics of the playtime. He passed his evaluation and will be attending again. Thank you Playtime Resorts for one happy puppy!

My first experience exceeded my expectations. Setting up an account and preparing for the visit was seamless and the communication was excellent. Upon arriving, we were promptly greeted, and my little princess was taken for an evaluation. She ended up staying for the day. The report card really made me smile. I think I chose the right caretakers for my dog.

I was a nervous fir momma when I first sent Clifford to doggie day care and boarding. Playtime Pet Resort is the greatest. The staff is remarkable and I feel like Clifford never leaves home. As soon as I say to Clifford wanna go to Playtime and play with your buds.... he barks and runs and jumps till we leave the house. Thank you for taking good care of Clifford!

Our two dogs stayed for a week and we feel they had wonderful care. Our older rescue was not well for a day or two. We were informed and updated which we really appreciated. She was fine by the time we picked her up. Our 2 year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel got lots of exercise. We added grooming on the day of her pick-up so they both looked healthy and beautiful! We loved that they had appropriate playtime buddies during the day but slept together at night in the Eagles Suite. Thank you to all the caring staff at Playtime Pet Resort.

I recently rescued a puppy and want to get her socialized as soon as possible. After doing some research I reached out to Playtime Pet Resort and arranged for my girl to be evaluated. I love how communicative they are and the care they took with her during her evaluation. She had the best time and we're easing our way into a full day of daycare to help her get her energy out as well as getting socialized with so many different dogs. I highly recommend Playtime!

We’ve had really good experiences to-date boarding our energetic pup at Playtime. Our dog loves it there. Staff is super kind and professional. Really wonderful about providing updates if you call in (or can pay for formal reports). We always feel our pup is well cared for and safe during a stay!

My dog absolutely loves it here! I have been sending her for daycare for a little over a year and the moment we walk in the door, my dog completely forgets I exist! She can't wait to start playing with her puppy friends. I definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a doggy daycare.

My senior pups went for an evaluation and came home happy and content, unlike other places where they came home nervous. Super excited to have found Playtime and look forward to boarding with them! The staff was very thorough, took pics of them throughout the day and provided a report card too!

Really dissapointed - was hoping this would be the solution to having a secure place for the dog while traveling. The facility leaves dogs outside 12-14 hours a day, with no rest periods. Place is run with a skeleton crew that didn't realize our 80 lb dog lost 10 lbs in the 2 weeks he was boarded there. For 75+ dollars a day, I expect more. We also booked baths and nail clipping, which they claim they did but was not apparent when we got our pup back. For a day, this place might not be terrible, but for longer stays - AVOID.EDIT: Contradictory to what they're saying here - they won't allow dogs inside for rest unless you pay an additional fee, which for an active dog like mine is unhealthy as he will just run around for 12 hours straight. The concept that I'd need to pay extra money for my dog to simply rest is absurd.I'm glad to hear you keep records, but dogs aren't numbers on a spreadsheet. Given how active the dogs are here, someone should be putting an eye on them to see how their stay is affecting their health here. My dog was clearly emaciated when he was returned to us, and no one noticed.

I took my pup for a "get to know" session before her boarding. She was very nervous and anxious. But the folks at PPR made her feel much better by playing with her favorite toy. She relaxed a little and was ok. They even gave me a report card for her and pictures too. It was a good experience for my pup.

A few weeks ago we quickly had to find a doggy daycare on short notice for our puppy, Sadie. We landed on Playtime Pet Resort and immediately were wow’ed by all they had to offer! As newer puppy parents we were nervous to leave Sadie in hands of people we didn’t know but when we took her for her first evaluation they sent us a report card and pictures of all the fun she was having. She even made friends on her first day! The next time we took Sadie to daycare she practically jumped out of the car in excitement when we pulled in and she immediately wanted to go inside. The staff are very kind and responsive, the reservation process is incredibly easy, and we’re even able to get her groomed while she’s there. We couldn’t be happier that we found Playtime Pet Resort for Sadie and we highly recommend this facility if you’re looking for a daycare for your four-legged child. My little man Link went in for an evaluation day. Everyone there was very kind and gladly answered my questions! My only concern was drop off for the evaluation did seemed a bit rushed but I still felt comfortable leaving my dog there.

Nothing but love for Playtime, compared to the few other doggy daycare facilities I’ve looked into, Playtime is far and away the best…the nicest, cleanest looking facility staffed by people who all seem to be genuine dog lovers. I feel good taking my dog here for a day of fun or a multi-day sleep over…he knows what “want to go to Playtime?” means and is always excited and alert on the way there and when I drop him off he happily walks to back with the staff without looking back, they told me that he loves it there and I believe them….he comes home and sleeps for about a day straight!

Playtime KOP is absolutely amazing. The staff is so nice and they are so kind to my lovable and hyper baby girl, Billie Jean. They have awesome events throughout the year for pups and so many options for entertainment, enrichment, spa services, and more. It’s truly a resort for the dogs. Billie Jean absolutely loves going here every week and loves the people that take great care of her. Its an amazing community of dog lovers.

I’m a first time dog owner and wanted to make sure my dog was in the best care at a location convenient for me for both daycare and possible boarding. From the moment we walked in and met the founder, Dan, I knew this would be the place. On top of being super modern, stylish, well lit and well ventilated, it’s SO clean. I mean you could just tell how hard their staff works to make sure the place is as clean and safe as can be. Not to mention the price point is great. All the dogs there looked so happy!They have enormous indoor and outdoor spaces and special sections for dogs that may need time alone or are too anxious etc, which made me feel very secure in knowing she would have a safe time.Today we had her evaluation visit where the dog spends half a day there getting introduced to the daycare and the dogs. They sent me pictures and a cute summary of her experience which was awesome since we couldn’t physically be there. She just looked so happy in the pictures and as you’ll see in the attached photo, she’s exhausted now. An exhausted dog is a good dog! I can’t wait to send her for the day a few times a week so she can get the exercise and social time she deserves!Thank you Dan and staff for creating a space where owners like me can feel so comfortable leaving their dog!

This is a nice facility and the people who work there have been nothing but pleasant. My dog Pongo seems to genuinely like to attend. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed after today. I called a full day ahead to cancel a one night boarding stay. I was informed I would lose my $55 deposit, that you must call two days ahead(48 hrs). Pongo has been attending for over a year and I have spent thousand(s) of dollars on daycare and boarding. It’s ashame that they are willing to lose a solid loyal customer over $55 on a technicality. I’m sorry, but I feel It should have been refunded. I had no idea that was the policy. I would not have made the mistake again if I was educated on the rules. I do understand why they have it in place but the lack of being heard and understood from my point of view is disappointing.Update: Thank-you for reaching out. I did see you guys called the next day. Unfortunately I was away and not able to answer. I do appreciate you taking the situation into consideration and following up.Thanks so much for the kind words regarding Pongo, he is very special to me as I’m sure all your clients dogs are to their parents!

One of the best places you can put your dog for overnight or daycare! The staff here truly cares and keeps you updated if they notice anything that might be off with your pup. My Rottie LOVES coming to play and leaves happy (and tired haha)!
