They have a great deli here I just wish they would wrap the deli cheese better every time I buy some from here it’s extremely difficult to use without it being a hockey puck and all stuck together unless you like half a block of cheese on one sandwich 😂 I would definitely buy deli cheese here again if they could wrap it properly.

Great place. Shop here weekly or more especially for fresh milk. Clean, cheerful, friendly... just wish they carried more organic produce.

I shop here sometimes if I don't feel like running into town to a larger grocery store. The quality of meats is excellent and my husband loves them, but the prices throughout the store are incredibly high compared to other grocery stores, such as Giant - in some cases almost double. They do have an nice selection for their size, and my husband raves about their donuts.

They have the best meat department around and their butcher is definitely experienced and tall and handsome to boot. My biggest complaint is their prices are way more than i can afford and they pay the employees not much above minimum wage. I purchase my meat here all the time but my groceries elsewhere.

The bakery is good.Only place I know outside of Schuykill County you can get Guers drinks. ..But. They have Gumbas sauces. They just lost my business. Period.

Great little store. They don’t have the selection of some of the bigger super markets, but it’s a great place to stop and grab what you need.The have a large selection of bulk candy and dry goods.The bakery is excellent and has wonderful cakes and the best donuts around.The deli prices are fair, and the baked ham is the best I’ve ever had. The also have very good fresh sausage. The meat cases always have a great, reasonably priced selection.The every day prices can be a bit high, but they run great sales.Always check dates, though. I’ve found some things in the frozen selection that I expect don’t have high turnover that was a few months expired.

BG's was once know as the place to get your most premium fattening donuts. Now they are average in the bakery. They are still the spot to get that special cut of meat if you don't mind putting in your order and waiting for it. One nice thing is there is always a surprise sale to look forward to and it's a good thing too because without the sales, one could definitely hurt his wallet if you exclusively shop here. Overall it's good in a pinch or the wealthy.

This store has everything you'll need (and then some) but it has that unique small town charm that you don't feel at large chain grocery stores. Prices seem greatThey have a nice bakery with homemade products. Highly recommend their donuts.

This place has like the old country market feel. Especially the Deli area !!! Fresh baked goods, and salads!!Place was very clean, and organized!!Employees were very friendly!!!Enjoyed shopping for my mother there!!I even got a couple of treats for myself to take back home with me.!😁👍🏽

Dont let the outside trick you and this place might not seem shiney or new, but they have an amazing amount of stuff for a small town grocery store. The employees are so nice and their dounuts are to die for. They are filled to the brim with cream jelly and more your mouth will just explode with flavor. So dont knock this place before youve actually tried it.

I must lead this off with how skeptical I was at first. Its a little old feeling grocery store. Dimly lit.Well let me tell you, If they sold alcohol & Fuel Id literally never shop anywhere else.I love this place and their prices are amazing.Forever friendly staff. Helpful and attentive.Such an awesome small town grocery.

Stopped in this morning 6-24-2022 about 7:30a.m. To purchase a book of scratch off lottery tickets for our lottery club. Upon standing and waiting several minutes at the front office counter, the girl behind the counter finally acknowledged me and ask if I needed something? I ask her if I could purchase a whole book of $20 scratch off tickets, to which she quipped “did you pre order them?”. I said no I did not and she said they will NOT sell a book and short themselves.She opened the lottery machine and in there laid a full unopened book of what I had wanted to purchase and she quickly shut the machine and said, “ I only have one extra book and I will not short myself”. I turned around without saying a word and walked out! Too darn lazy to scan the book and sell it.I will NEVER stop in or shop at this store again. I do not “reward” bad behavior!P.S. I drove down to Hutter’s afterwards to gas up my truck. While paying, I ask the man if he sells full books of scratch off lottery tickets? He said certainly sir, what kind are you looking for? I told him and after pumping gas and returning inside, he had the book ready and waiting for me! It was as simple as that!

I've been shopping here since the early 80s when it was cashed something different. Yes, their prices may be a little high on some things but what the lack in prices, they make up for in service and their baked goods, especially their donuts are AMAZING.

The bakery here is fantastic. Cakes. Cookies. Donuts.The meat counter is pretty great for such a small store as well.I like small stores because you can find what you need quicker.

The bakery selections are very good here, but the prices are extremely expensive here and hard to overlook. Almost $5 for a half gallon of almondmilk?! No thanks. I suggest somewhere cheaper.

Prices are high for a grocery store. More like convenience store prices. Surprisingly good selection of items, though. The bakery is legend- wait for it -dary though. Especially the donuts. I wouldn't do my weekly shopping here, but not a bad place to grab what you need for supper.

Good, dependable hometown-style grocery store with friendly, personable and knowledgeable staff. Great produce department, bakery, and meats. They also have really good sales items every week. And, they're the only store I've found South of Schuylkill County that carries Guers products (teas, milks, and lemonade).

My husband and I stopped in today because we like this store. Unfortunately, there were multiple people shopping without a mask. No one said a word to them. Evidently it’s not an issue to shop here and not wear a mask. We will not shop at this store again. It’s just not safe.So sad!

The employees were friendly and helpful. Prices are about the same as everywhere else these days. Some things are higher/lower than my normal haunts. It's a little far for me in a weekly basis, but I was down that way, so I checked it out.

BG's doughnuts and baked goods deserve a whole other rating system. 5 stars isn't enough. In fact, BG's doughnuts have ruined all other doughnuts for me for the rest of my life. I'm not joking. Peanut butter filled, chocolate iced is life.

Donuts are good and some prices are okay. Most things are over priced though and dressed fine and was polite and I applied 5 different times and never got a call back or even gave me a chance they just hire 12 year olds.

The best place to buy freshly butchered meats. And this is the only place I will buy meats over any big supermarket. Yes their prices on most things can be higher then some stores but their meats are worth it and if you shop their brand, "Best Buy" for most items or watch their sales you can keep the costs down a bit. And as some other comments stated they are also know for their fresh and very delicious doughnuts and cakes, but you better go early in the morning if you want their fresh baked doughnuts because they go fast. If you wait till early afternoon your too late.

It's a nice and convenient place for the locals. A little pricey compared to other stores. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is its always freezing in their store. In the summer take a sweater.
