Rob, the owner, along with the staff is always friendly when arriving to the shop. They are extremely knowledgeable and will help you find the right board/bindings/boots to fit your experience level. I've purchased a board, multiple boots, bindings, outerwear, goggles, gloves, etc. Their prices are solid and generally run sales throughout the year. I will forever be supporting their family own business over purchasing online.

Worst wax job I've ever had, to the point it's objectively dangerous. I bought a beginner's wax kit and noticed a huge difference between my n00b wax board and my other 2 boards I had waxed here.The image is what I scraped off my Flow board in one go with barely any pressure. Beginner's Tip: You need to scrape the wax off the bottom of the board.I'm a local, and this review is hard to give because they're very nice people. Rob is very cool. Love the staff, but the service is unacceptable.

Always Boardshop is the perfect example of a great local shop that everyone should support. I've been a customer since 2015 if my memory serves me right, and I have had nothing but good experiences. The owner and employees are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and they genuinely want you to get the gear that you need and will love. Whether you're looking for a specific product, or you need someone to help you choose what's right for you, I would highly recommend going here. Great gear from good brands, at various price points, for all types of snowboarders. Also, they do fantastic snowboard service too, their repairs have been bulletproof for me.

Rob was wonderful and spent 2 hours with us to find me a new snowboard, bindings, and boots. He was very patient, knowledgable, and explained everything really well - pros and cons to different brands, fittings, and helpful tips (like not resting your board on your other boot on the lift bc it voids the boot warranty, which I didn't know). All while multitasking and helping other customers as they came in. Highly recommend!

Must stop shop if you are in need of any outwear, goggles, boards etc. Rob is a knowledgeable local is who always excited to help people at whatever capacity enjoy the mountain. More importantly he takes the time to help you find your needs and what is going to help you have the most fun on the mountain. If you are from the Greater Pittsburgh Area, I would rate this shop above all other shops (local and chain).

If you're hitting the mountain you'll want to shop here. The staffis knowledagble on the products they carry and the prices are all EXTREMELY fair. The shop is very clean and very well kept and always stocked with the best gear (boards, bindings, stomp pads, goggles, outerwear, helmets, sunglasses, tuning supplies, and more. Also, they offer tunes, waxes, and repairs. I definitely recommend stopping in if you're passing by on your way to the mountain!

Do not order anything if you are not 100% certain of your size. I had ordered some boots, however they ran a bit small so I needed to return them, and the return fee was $40!!
