Bad service, team leads and managers are idiots. The store treats every customer like a criminal. However cashiers are nice enough but the management staff is terrible. Half the managers/leads don’t even know how to do their job, I’ve had to explain to members of the management team how to do their jobs before! I’m sure it all comes down to poor training. oh and if you manage to find an open check out you might want to buy a lotto ticket because you are the luckiest man alive. Again the regular staff are usually decent enough, that’s the only reason they deserve 1 star, but management needs to be completely overhauled and retrained. I’ve even overheard manager berating and insulting lower staff on previous visits.Let’s not forget about the fact that at least once a month someone will OD in the store. If you can afford to go to Somerset Walmart go there. Less dirty, nicer staff, managers don’t insult staff on the sales floor. And they seem to know how to do their jobs better. Not to mention Somerset always has better stock.

On Feb 24, I was shopping and I was threw out of the store . Three managers approached me my while I was shopping and I was kicked of the store. I was informed that I was scaring the by shopping for a drone. At the time I was accompany by my emotional animal which I have all documents for. They were not willing to even see my documentation and informed me again that I had to leave because I was scaring customers as well as my emotional support animal. So, if you are accompany by a emotional animal and or minority I would take caution going there.

I went to WalMart in Johnstown to grab a few groceries with my mother. Long story short we wanted 🍨 🍨 sundaes. We each grabbed a glass jar of Hersheys hot fudge. Later that night i noticed there wasn't the normal plastic saftey seal aroubd lid. I opened it and there was a scoop taken out like someone had eaten out of it and put it back on the shelf. Called my mom, she checked hers, hers had thr SAME thing done to it. Disgusting to think a worker is taking their fingers and eating out of these things and putting them back. What else is molested??!?!?!

They need to do something with the shakedowns at the door when you leave. It is so slow and short of stripping you down they take their time touching everything. Sams club can check your stuff so quickly and they are nice. Get more employees to do the shakedowns or actually man the cash registers. I was going to switch to online, but seems like it sucks too. I am reminded every time I walk into a Walmart why I shop online or at Taget.

I have been shopping here since I moved from MD back in 2016ish. I have 4 kids and am currently expecting. A manager was rude to me and interrupted a personal convo I was having w my partner to insert her snide opinion that we were being too loud. I tried to explain that I was asking my bf to leave my wallet behind before leaving the store w our cranky toddler so I could pay for my cart full of (apparently) $400+ worth of merchandise. Regular customer who frequents this store a lot. Manager snapped that she was in charge and that if I had a problem w her I could leave the store. I asked her name. She proudly gave it. I asked her if she was Christian. She spat back "... better Christian than u will ever be!". Assuming I was religious also. Which I am. But I'd never be so rude to someone and claim it was my job as a person of Christian faith. Rude for no reason. So i told Customer Service on my way storming out of the store, humiliated as I have Aspberger's and I'm hormonal and sensitive so I was bawling and embarrassed. Unable to leave fast enough to calm down. I don't think it's fair for employees anywhere to assume invisible disabilities don't exist without a badge worn on my forehead... My toddler also Has Persistent Drive for Autonomy and likely on the spectrum and very high needs due to her energy level and lack of sleep and cooperation. She's an angel but dad and I haven't gotten much sleep and were already tense without somebody rudely interjecting their personal opinion like it mattered to a customer shopping for what I needed w my baby and bf. Its ridiculous that in this day and age, ppl can still be so obviously ignorant to other's needs and personalities being diff from their own POV or beliefs. I didn't think the world had to be so narrow minded. Was disappointed by the treatment we received. To say the least. I hope for better training so managers can recognize when they're overstepping customers personal boundaries, in rude fashion, to boot. I expected better. But maybe employees would care more for their customer service skills if they got paid better. Just my honest opinion. Discrimination is illegal. It's not on the customer to train ur managers how to be tactful w ppl who may be disabled. Please. Do better?

The store itself is okay. It's hard to find parking especially handicap parking. The prices are lower than some stores. They have a large variety of products. On the weekend it's typically very crowded so if you want to go go during the week in the morning is what I would recommend, unless you're okay with big crowds

Someone needs to talk to the self-checkout employees about personal space. They will walk up literally within inches of you without even saying a word and then move on to get into someone else's personal space. Treating everyone like a thief is not a good policy. If it is that much of an issue, do away with self-checkout.The shelves are always disorganized and neglected. Used to be part of the job to make sure everything is stocked and pulled neatly to the front of the shelves at all times. Not anymore. Empty boxes block products on every shelf and have to be moved out of the way to get what you need (if you can reach it).

If you ever find yourself in Walmart at the sound & video department. Look in the movie bin that's mark at $5.00 there's some pretty good movies in that bin. Of course you gotta dig for a movie that peeks your interest.6/13/23Me & my husband went to Walmart this morning. When my husband went to the sound/video department & when he didn't see the movie John wick chapter 4 out. He asked the woman who worked in that department about the movie. She then got an attitude about it, and walked off, there was another customer there & said did she just walked away cause that customer also needed something. She didn't come back to help my husband till 10 minutes with the movie. Grented it was early in the morning & maybe she had a bad morning but she shouldn't people attitude when someone ask for help or some item.July 3rd 2023:Walmart was nice today wasn't crowded as much. Since I was up there at 7:00am it was hard looking for stuff since they were stocking the shelves etc.December 4th 2023:I think Walmart in the Johnstown area. Should check out the price in the Barbie department. A barbie fashionista ( ken doll, blonde) was price for $5.98 I'm thinking someone stock it in the wrong place. I added this to my collection today. Cause I've seen it was $5.98 but got up it was for $10.971/3/24 Walmart got some new Barbie fashionistas in. So if anyone collects them or if your little girl is into Barbie dolls these will be the doll in your collection.March 7th 2024Since my car is broken down. I decided to order couple of things off of the Walmart app this morning. Had the best delivery person ( Johnstown Walmart, Rebecca ) thank you for the service, I'm definitely gonna be ordering my groceries from the app again. Hats off to Rebecca who delivered my order.

I don't always like their prices, but I always love the fact that they have what I want when I need it as fast as I can possibly get it sometimes. Even when it cost me a little extra. I'm willing to pray the price so yes, I would definitely like this place

Collin O’Donnell was amazing! I had a terrible experience with ordering tires on line and setting appointment with the local store to have them installed. Collin was kind and went above and beyond. He fixed what should have been already handled and even made the situation better! I appreciate his willingness to assist and stay true to his word. Walmart and Bobbi Kane you are lucky to have a great employee to represent your company.

Great place to shop and all for good prices and quality but how lazy the online ordering is…ridiculous. Everything that isn’t available I can find in the store after I pick up.Overall it’s nice they got gluten free options I guess.

You need to change that the two lanes are one way. Come in at Best Buy and out at Walmart. The left lane for pick up right keeps going.

Yall literally wouldn’t defend my friends online order, because YOU guys spill cleaner in her groceries, and STILL gave them to her, and told her later. (This was a delivery order)Now you guys WOLL NOT REFUND HER, unless she brings it in, and she’s agoraphobic. We have plenty othersI cannot wait to see yall in a lawsuit, which is coming.

Online ordering sucks. Always short on product and dealing with “substitutions”. Deliveries up to 2 hours late even when ordering in the morning. This Johnstown store should be looked at by Walmart Corporate. I think we are going to stop shopping at Walmart and stick with local shops.

Everything was in order despite a million people in there. The staff was very courteous in directing me where to go. The man working the layaway was super helpful also. I had a huge order and he didn't mind like other stores seem to. I had to look on my app to see which aisles all of mybitems were in, they are Christmas presents so I was scatter brained and everything was exactly where the app said it would be.. Above all else, everything was clean and sanitized!!

Aside from this store being a cluttered dysfunctional dump, Richland Walmart has hit a new low with a male employee dressed as a female monstrosity working in the children’s toy isles. This is gross and unacceptable.

Don’t do Pickup unless you plan on waiting an excessively long time. Might be faster to plant vegetables and raise your own livestock.

It's Walmart. What can really be said?12/23 I guess that it's not such a good idea to try grocery shopping on a Saturday evening. Especially before a holiday. There were so many empty shelves. Hope for better luck next week.

This is a fairly large walmart. It services Johnstown, Windber, Riverside and surrounding areas. It's a good store to buy groceries from. Their premade food is wonderful.

It's walmart. They usually have what you need, but it's always crowded, and they've been changing the shelves around a lot recently. Giant Eagle is better and cheaper, but they dont have everything.

It's a Walmart in the middle of richland and johnstown. It sucks shopping there because of the people everywhere and the parking is the worst. Only shop there when i need to buy food in bulk. Never anything else.

This place is always pure chaos and I avoid going at all costs if I can. It has your necessities but is always a mess and employees always seem unhappy and avoid contact with customers. I've only ever done curbside once and it took forever to come out.
