First time here. Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. Not to busy and we were waited on right away. Nice beer selection and a huge menu. I got a burger, it was very good and the wife got a chicken parmesan sandwich. All in all it was a good experience we will stop again when in the area.

Plenty of parking around the back. Patio has plenty of tables with umbrellas. Please note this establishment allows well-behaved doggos on the patio. Menu is quite extensive so may want to check it out online prior to dining just so you can save time.

I've been wanting to go for beef tips and noodles. Such a let down. Such a small portion and the beef tips were hard to chew and tasteless. Also, I ordered the Irish stew. It was cold and there was about a measuring cup of soup. I cannot believe I paid $12 for that!!!! I was in shock or I would've told her to take it back. Had to stand around far too long before someone told us to sit wherever. The service was so slow. Never got salt and pepper--had to find my own. Waited too long for a refill. No napkins brought with dessert. I won't go back.

They were short-staffed and I sympathize with that, but we noticed two other tables order long after our table ordered and still got their food well before we did. That should never happen. And we waited nearly an hour for our food. Why did those other tables get their food before we got ours? But the food was good, except for the curly black hair my nephew found in his burger! And the wings were excellent!

Used to go to the crows nest in years past when I spent a lot of time in bars. My wife daughter and I went for dinner tonight and were very disappointed. The server was new but she was nice, no problem there other than normal things you deal with a new server. The mixed drinks we got contained little alcohol and weren’t good but that’s a crapshoot at most places anyway (plus I think our new server made them).Where we were really disappointed was the food! It used to be good! Wife and I both ordered steaks, rare. They were both medium/medium well and almost too salty to eat. And for a $26 steak it was really thin and just seemed like even less quality than the something you would get at a low grade steak place like Applebees. Not to mention the side baked potato was undercooked for both of us. We each had to ask for sour cream and when we took a bite of the potato with it we realized the sour cream was spoiled and tasted like mold! We each ordered lobster bisque which was okay I guess but tasted like it was straight out of a giant tub of premade soup, no chunks of anything in it, basically just thick broth. Not like it used to be 5 years ago. For a $100 on a meal, you should go somewhere elseI would give it less stars but I used to frequent this place a lot and it was great and the owners were very nice, maybe this was just a fluke so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt

Retaurant/bar in a rural area. They should stick to the BAR part of the business. We stopped for lunch after paddling Stoney Creek. Our server seemed more interested in running to her car to make phone calls than paying attention to us. Very slow service, with bare minimum effort. My food (burger) was horribly over cooked. The server never asked how I wanted it cooked. Others in our group weren't expressing any compliments when they were eating. So I assume nothing was all that great. BOO!

Surprising place! Great menu, love the staff, lots of drink choices, and another great option is the outdoor dining. I’m already looking forward into going back! (We really liked the fried oysters too)

I love going to the crows nest, I like the bar atmosphere there.I recently went there for dinner, I thought the onion rings that I ordered were over priced at $8 for a small basket also I ordered a side of Cole slaw that came in a small plastic cup that I was charged $3.50 for, it should of been like $1.50 . I'm not sure what's going on there, I hope they don't get too over priced for what they are serving.

Just left the Crowe’s Nest. Saddened by our experience. What happened to the Crowe’s Nest? Use to be excellent! The soup was burnt and not edible. There was an up charge for sides that were told to be included and an up charge to blacken salmon, again not communicated. Use to be one of our favorite places to eat! Extremely expensive now and small portions. Will not be recommending to friends. 😞

4 of us had salads. Mine was a Caesar with tuna it was very good. A chef salad was great, a steak was good. My wife's"Grilled" chicken salad was awful. The chicken was not edible. Nothing grilled about it. It was dry and so chewy more poor wife had to spit it out for fear of choking on it. Seemed like microwaved left over roasted chicken. Or a bag of premade chicken from a bag. Not a grilled and sliced fresh breast. When the waitress returned to collect our plates she asked how the food was. I said the chicken salad "sucked" and described why. I added the rest of our meals were fine. She replied well at least 3 out of 4 were good. I like this place and have had very good food from there. Salads may not be you specialty but if it's on the menu do a good job. It was a very busy day but the waitress could have been a bit more concerned. I will go here again but be worried that this was not a one time mistake.

I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Their service to us was terrific! Our waitress was very good! The food was great, especially the chicken tenders, that went over well and quickly. So, if you are looking for a place to get together, I would recommend The Crows Nest! We definitely will do it there next year! Thank you, again! Rosemarie Reed

Food was excellent and service was fast. Waitress was super friendly. The only thing I didn't care for was the french onion soup because it tasted like they used rye bread. It was good, but I would not order it again. My husband had liver and onions and he was very pleased with it.

This is a nice clean place w good food, great beers on tap, and enough accommodations to please most guests. This is about as good as it gets for this area. They used to have live music, but I guess they’re not doing that much anymore, or at least I never hear about it. I enjoy bringing my friends here. Always good service. Nothing crazy, just a good local place. Sort of like a sports bar/roadhouse/tavern/grill vibe. Not fancy, but very clean.

Nice place! Kevin and John are friendly and committed to running the best place possible.Craft / local beers are amazing and plentiful. Staff tends to be knowledgeable about beer styles and make good personal /pairing recommendations.I’ve been to several events that they’ve catered and the food quality, variety, and presentation have been great!Food is great! I don’t eat meat, so I cannot comment on their staples (burgers, wings, barbecue) but they will modify sandwiches and dishes for me. If it’s summertime try the deep fried sweet corn on the cob. Seriously. Try it.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant and bar. The food selections are extensive, well-prepared and imaginative. The place is always busy with a mixed crowd, lunch and dinner. Lots of seniors and groups come early to miss the evening rush. Lunches are great, too, with quick service. Takeouts are no problem and well prepared. They have a large meeting and event room at the rear of the establishment that will hold 50 to 75 very comfortably by my estimate. I attended a large group meeting there recently and they provided us with a nice choice of light appetizers. The owners are very personable and it shows that they really care about whether you will want to come back for more.

Service was okay. I ordered a burger and asked for bacon. No bacon, still got charged a $1 for it. Also charged an extra $1 for 1 tiny slice of cheese. There was an up charge to order fries, only got a small handful and they were soggy. Burger was dry. Bottled drinks were super expensive compared to other places. I did like the outside seating, but I don't think I'll ever go back :(

The food was quite good, of what we got.We got takeout. We had a few items missing, both entrees wrong, but we received similar items as to what we ordered, and we received the wrong side. No napkins/utensils. No idea how they screwed up the order so badly as the place was pretty much empty. The receipt listed the order as I placed it, not what I received, so they at least heard me right.Check your order before you leave, if takeout, or just dine in.
