I have used this pharmacy happily for over a year now never had any problems the staff is kind courteous and very helpful Highly recommend this location on Bedford street. Had extremity removed and dr sent prescription in for pain medication. In there wisdom decided they were not filing. This is a violation of the Americans with disabilities act. Who are they to override a prescription without a medical reason. Worst company .they should close the rest of them. Took 10 days to get insulin at one point . Debs review is 5 but states she did not like it .this business is a 1 star because is 0 star

Multiple times I have gone to this store after calling in my prescription, I give them a whole day to fill it and they never have it done. The most recent time I went they took it upon themselves to transfer my prescription to Cresson, they didn't even call me to give me a heads up. It's gotten so ridiculous that I've had to go off of my medication for 2 days while they take their time to fill the prescription. All times I go there I am waiting 10 minutes minimum to even talk to someone at the window at the drive through, it's like they forget about it. I understand that everyone is trying their best and that people have bad days but this has been going on for too long.

They used to be pretty good but lately they never answer the phone. If something comes up with your prescription they fail to inform you. I have a monthly prescription and it's the same problem every month. It takes me almost two weeks to get my prescription. Every time I try to call them it takes me two or more hours to get ahold of someone. If they tell you your prescription will be ready in an hour just take it as, they'll get to it when they feel like it.

I would give zero stars if it has the option to give zero.I went in for a couple of things at 5 till 6 (they close at 6 on Sundays), this lady paged over the loudspeaker that they were closed.

This used to be the best drug store around. I don't know if there is a staff shortage or what. I've called 5 times today and no answer. When I do go up to pick up a prescription that the automated system tells me will be ready at certain time, it never is. Average wait time at pick up window is at least 15 minutes. Some of the staff are very nice and helpful but recently the experience has been truly aggravating

I had gotten a call as soon as my doctor prescribed my son some medication for his ear infection they proceeded to tell me that the antibiotic they did not have but will have the next day a little upsetting but oh well we would be able to get it tomorrow I said. proceeded to get his medication the next day hear the antibiotic was on call back had to speak to a boss to even get that information then I had to call the doctor and do the pharmacies job myself waited three days for the pharmacy and the doctor to get it right this time now my son has a severe eye infection ended up in the ER the next day .. let me tell you I didn't not leave that hospital without knowing he would be able to get the medication they prescribed ..

Horrible customer service with drive-through pharmacy!! I have been a customer for years with them, and today I changed my mine.. I have insurance and gave her my insurance information, and she stated I needed different information for prescription..um no, it's the all the same.. hummm it's amazing. I went to another pharmacy with the same card information, and they accepted, and it was fine and actually cheaper... Lost a loyal customer BYE!!

I have gone to this pharmacy for at least 15 years. Over the past 3 years, I have rarely been satisfied. There has been a problem almost every visit. They either do not have the meds ready when they indicate they will be, they always put child proof caps on when I have told them every time I can't open them because of the arthritis in my fingers or they lie and say the doctor hasn't called it in when I have heard her in her office. I am 83 and I hope that I can count on them to do what they advertise. When I suggest I should go to another pharmacy they tell me they are all the same. Really?

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be and if they don't have an item, they don't even call to tell you!! My doctor phoned in a prescription while I was standing next to him at the office and when I went to pick up the prescription 1 1/2 hours later the pharm tech told me that it was "just faxed in 5 minutes ago". Really?!? This will be the last visit for me to this pharmacy. Maybe CVS will be better!

If this is the Rite Aid in Geistown then it needs to be shut down & someone brought in that knows what they are doing. Not once have I gone there & they've got anything right. Everytime I go there they mess something up. Never in my life had a store be so messed up. They need some employees that know how to do their job.

Very convenient, and if you are signed up for their rewards card you can save quite a bit of money at checkout and with advertised specials. The pharmacists have always been helpful, no matter which store we have stopped at.

East Hills closed so we have been transferred to Rite Aid. My husband and I BOTH went and picked up a prescription, went home, and BOTH of us counted them TWICE and they were short 1 pill. The pharmacist tells me I'm wrong. He didn't offer to count theirs to see if they were off or anything. He just says I'm wrong. That is illegal! My insurance company payed for that exact amount!

I arrive at 4 pm to pick up my new inhaler that I had called in at 9 am by doctor because rite aid hasn’t had my old one in weeks and surprise their incompetent staff still does not have my inhaler. It’s not that hard to slap a sticker on a box I mean I could suffocate and you guys can put a sticker on
