The new shelves in this store ruin your ability to find anything. The spacing is too small to properly house everything in a decent fashion. I used to always shop here. Now it's the last place I'll go. There must also be a thwift issue. B/c the changing rooms are now locked. You'll have to get buzzed in to use them. Sad such a good store went down hill. Even the merchandise is poor quality now. I couldn't find one toy that wasn't completely broken or unusable.

I keep seeing bad reviews for this location and y’all are crazy; this is the most stocked and affordable goodwill I have ever been to. The prices at a goodwill near a big city are 3x what they are here. And there’s so much to look at. Would you rather it be barren? Didn’t think so! Be lucky you have such a good goodwill here. Lines are not bad. If it’s long I wait 10 min max. Don’t be a baby.

Staff is consistently rude when donating items and act as if it's a complete burden to accept anything. There are boxes outside under a porch area to drop off items outside of open hours, but if you visit these when any staff are present just before opening they will tell you they aren't open and make you feel like garbage for trying to drop off 30 minutes before they open. I will happily drive forty minutes out of my way to donate elsewhere.

Shelves are over stuffed, it makes it difficult to find anything. Prices are high for FREE stuff. The store is not organized and dirty. No thank you.

Don't like the way the remodel made the store look, it feels more claustrophobic and the area near the books is not organized well with the shopping carts in front of it.

I used to enjoy shopping here, but now it's way overpriced, and the staff seem to be more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. The stuff is crowded on the new shelves, making it difficult to find things. I'm sad because it used to be a nice experience to browse here.

Have at least 2 hours to spend here. 1 to look all around , the 2nd hour to wait in line. It’s ALL THE TIME, rarely does anyone pay attention to come up and help / the cashier never calls for it. I love coming here but never have 2 spare hours , current time in line rn 18min.

I believe I can agree with some of the other reviews with bad staff. I'm not sure what happened to GOODwill but there making GOODmoney because it felt expensive

Of course it gets a 5star review! They never disappoint! Also I have bought big pieces of furniture and left to go home until I had my hands on a big truck, that was sooo convenient for me. I love this place

This place is nice and has some good stuff, there’s a huge variety as well. The prices are a bit much for a thrift store but in regular they would be way more.

Please folks of Johnstown stop taking broken things to the goodwill. You’re not helping any underprivileged people, just the board of directors are benefitting and the good people of Johnstown are being ripped off because they are selling your broken merchandise as if it was working with crooked smiles and all their lying eyes. Joe takes such delight in duping the trusting customers. I could tell such stories but just believe me when I say, “Throw out your junk and stop taking it here.”

Large store with some nice deals. I really enjoy the brand name clothes racks. It's an area in the store with a few racks of brands like Under Armor, Victoria's Secret, and many others all in one place. I've found some of my favorite clothes there.

They won’t let you use the restroom because, in the words of the employee, they have to disinfect it after use. I used it anyways, it’s not my fault the company’s changed their rules and the employees don’t want to comply. I also heard from an employee that because the restrooms were closed someone urinated in the dressing room. So unsanitary. Terrible customer service. Everything is donated, it’s all 100% income, you can’t insure that your customers have a sanitary place to relieve themselves or tidy up while shopping? They should be ashamed.

Was great but didn't have my size in most things. I couldn't find no jeans in 34/30 and the stuff was mixed in everywhere no mens section really most pants were women's sizes

The store is very large. With a great selection of clothing to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful! One con, and it's not a deal breaker. The toy section could use some TLC. Other than that, it's a great store to come too!

Bursting at the seams... So much merchandise you can hardly comprehend what you are looking at. I had a good shopping experience, but it was hard to look at things the way housewares and electronics were piled up. Time for a clearance sale!

This place has a lot to offer as far as clothes, coats, and even decor. I got a lot of my wedding vases here. The staff aren't always up to par but the low prices of everything out weigh that.

If I could give negative stars I would. The service is terrible. I bought a vtech game for my kids and paid almost $30. I plugged it in today and it didn't work at all. I tried to take it back and they told me I could only get store credit. I paid cash, so I expect cash when they sold me a broken product. Why wasn't there some indication that they didn't test it? You don't put an untested product for sale as though it works. Jennifer, the manager, really needs to learn how to treat customers. I for one will not be buying anything from there again. Terrible operation!

The workers know us and talk to us regularly when we visit this Goodwill. The facility is rather clean for being what it is. The prices on the donated items are also priced decent. Though sometimes the price of an item is just ridiculous.

I used to really enjoy stopping here with my famly, unfortunately nowadays there prices are just increasing to the point I cant afford the clothes anymore. There must been a spike in overhead beacuse there was just a very significant price increase. I'm sad to say we will not be shopping here any longer..

Always finding bargains and helping others by puchases at Goodwill stores!! If your on a family budget or just starting life as an adult on your own, this is a great place to get clothing and household needs!! Also while shopping you save on $$$$!!!

Very expensive for stuff that is donated. I don't think it is right for them to charge $10 for a pair of shoes just to have them literally fall off my feet the next day. And then be told they are as is...

Prices are a little high for an all-donation store. Ask to check electronics before purchasing. Make sure you are charged correctly.

Prices are getting worse almost asking full price & stuff is stained not all there I understand goodwill helps alot of people but everything is donated just don't understand why such high prices

Fast friendly service.. for some reason it seemed like some of their prices were lower today when I visit according to what they were the last time I was there
