We had a hole open in our ceiling caused by a massive wasp's nest in our attic and they were entering our living space. We called a half-dozen pest control companies and Ehrlich was the only one that was responsive and helpful. Others either didn't answer the phone or made an appointment that they cancelled on us the day of. Brooke answered promptly and got us scheduled, and the Tech John arrived when we were told he would and got right to work. He was super personable as well. It's no exaggeration to say that these two played a huge role in making our home feel habitable again. My family and I feel so much better with the problem addressed and a warranty behind it. Highly recommend these two and Ehrlich!

When they come out, their stuff works. However, I have to call many times to get what I wanted done. The time to wait for an appointment is about a week, not bad, but if you have a serious problem, that may bring issues.

They said they would come "between 12 and 4". When they didn't show up, I called and was told they were "running late" but would call me "within an hour". They never called. When I contacted them the next morning, they claimed I hadn't been on the schedule but couldn't explain why. They had taken my credit card number when I first called and I expressed my concern about that. After a few minutes I was told they did find my information but the guy who took the information was "out" and they didn't know when he would return. I canceled and contracted a local company. STAY AWAY FROM EHRLICH!

I have been using this service for 16 months every other month. When I called them my property was overrun by mice and basement had so many spiders I wouldn't go there. Within a month I saw no mice and basement became functional. I have had the same person, John, every month. He is professional, pleasant, willing to give advice and tips to help my cause. He has come when he had to work around ladders and drop clothes when you could barely get through without missing a beat. Highly recommended.Services: Rodent extermination, Spider extermination

This company doesn't show up when they say they're going to doesn't return any phone calls, can't get through to the office because everything goes through a call center in Florida and then they tell me nobody is in this area to service me but they were quick to take my money. They charge you a ton of money and then don't provide the service. I would think twice about hiring them you won't get anywhere or any service.Service: Ant extermination

From ground bees to carpenter ants, we have had to call on him between regular visits and he always comes quick. He is courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. I reached out to Ehrlich on a Friday about a problem we were having with rodents and they scheduled the inspection for Monday. I requested the 2p to 4p time slot because I had other things already scheduled the rest of the day. On Monday the lady doing the inspection just showed up at my house over 2 hours early! She said her travel time didn't work out for the appointments they had scheduled for her, which I understood, but I'm sure she got her schedule first thing in morning and could have given some kind of notice that she would need to come early. The inspection went well and after talking about their prices I choose the service I wanted. The Ehrlich lady told me I would be receiving an email with my contract and I all I would need to do is respond "confirm." Well, after waiting 5 days for them to send this email I called a local pest control company and they'll be here first thing Monday to treat the problem... not just to do an inspection and never respond to me.

I did not use the service the price was too high! For most homes with simply pest control problems you can do it yourself for hundreds less. I had one service who wanted me to pay for a monthly service. I did this for about 6 months and i swear they were spraying water instead of a pesticide!

The local folks in Johnstown, PA, actually did a great job. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and the job they did. However, I canceled the service in October of 2020. The corporate office continued to bill me for Nov, Dec, and Jan. I called in to request a refund, was told it would be processed in 7-10 business days. That was 20 days ago and I still haven't seen it. When I called them today, the person who helped me said that she could see the request in the system, but nothing had been done about it. Where's my refund?Update 2/19/21: my refund was finally processed. Thank you to whoever made this happen. Of note, I was promised that I would be contacted by a supervisor and was never contacted from the call center. I assume the response below is from the local folks, but if the corporate offices are reading this, they probably should fix their customer service.Service: Ant extermination

I have the pest free 365 service plus termites plan. Matt Seth is the individual who comes to do the inspections and sprays. They schedule three sprays/visits per year and I get unlimited calls if I have issues. The termite service is done by another tech. The tech checks the traps once per year and you get a $10,000 insurance policy to cover any damage if the termite traps fail and they damage your home. The service also includes the extermination of the termites. I never had them, but bought this service as well for piece of mind. I would highly recommend these services for piece of mind. Matt Seth and the specialized termite tech have always been very professional and do a great job.

Have used in the past, but will not use again. We scheduled for ant spraying, someone came, only to give an estimate, after being told we would be sprayed that day. We then scheduled to be sprayed, making sure everyone was out of the house, no one showed! We called and were told that technician was out, with an injury. Sooo, I wonder how many other customers, that were to be done that day, weren't called and waited for them to come. Very poor customer service.

Erlich is hands down the best money we have ever spent. It's not cheap, I think it's like $50 a month but it is 100% worth it. They schedule 3 or 4 sprayings throughout the year. However (and this is the important part) they will come and spray ANYTIME in between those scheduled visits. I am not exaggerating when I say I call them to spray every time I see a single spider. They never have a problem with it and it doesn't cost extra money. Also, this weekend we caught a mouse in the trap they set. I called them and they came out within the next 12 hours to dispose of the mouse and reset the traps. He also did a quick inspection while he was there to make sure there weren't any obvious entry points. This summer they quicky dispatched a hornets nest. I am totally afraid of bugs and rodents and we recently moved to a house that's basically in the woods. I could not live here without Erlich.
