Like any other dollar general. Good dollar amounts for goods you need. Dollar General stores are pretty much all the same. Good deals on certain items, you can definitely save money, just have to watch what you buy. Remembering the old adage, "you get what you pay for"... Not the case for everything just some products. The store is most certainly not clean, shelves are not straightened or maintained, I attribute that however to the fact that associates are very elusive and don't make eye contact with them because they either get spooked and go the other way or act like you are inconveniencing them when they have to come to the register. Again, I don't blame them entirely because it seems there is only ever one person stocking after a truck delivers and that person is also responsible for cashing out customers (probably overwhelmed at times). It just seems that the company's top priority is not customer satisfaction!

This is trashed. The isles have containers in them making it hard to even get anything. The shelves are bare and what is there is in total disarray. I turned around just walked out. Couldn't imagine if the store is this bad how terrible behind the scenes could be. Stay away.....

Closed in the middle of the day with a sign on the door so you waste gas to get there and find out by wasting expensive gas that they're not even open

This store is very convenient but it desperately needs a bigger store so they can have parking. . This is the biggest complaint is that there is very little pkg and if the store was bigger they would have more room to display stuff.. Hopefully they get a bigger store soon with parking so customers don't go to a DG store elsewhere.

The dollar store in Windber is a good place to shop but the parking ain't so great and then always got what you want all the time but the people are Drake and the service is great so if you're in Windber and you need some food or drink make sure you stop at the Dollar Store have a great day

Amazed at how many items they carry. Makes those last minute... or "oops. I forgot the..." shopping much easier. I like that they are convenient to home. Name is misleading. The prices are not cheaper.

Dollar General has good deals average deals and bad deals. If your a smart shopper its a great place to grab a few items.

This is a very nice, clean and organized Dollar General. Workers are always friendly. Close to other stores and is stocked well. I go there alot.

I hate this store in Alum Bank. Staff is friendly but manager or owner is very unfriendly. You can wait in line all day and they won't open another register.
