This particular CVS had greatly improved. They got more help in the pharmacy so for the most part the lines are not going down the aisle. All employees are Kind, helpful, extremely hardworking yet professional. This has been my store since day 1 and I really appreciate them. I am not related to any of them yet we know each others name. Great job all around!!

I waited at the drop off counter for quite a few minutes while 1 girl was on the register with someone picking up and another girl standing in the back not doing anything. Finally the girl at the register came overAnd asked if I was dropping off. After this the other lady finally walks over and got my information.She said give them 15 minutes and it will be ready so I went to go use the restroom and it was a disgusting mess. I walked right back out and found a manager and told him.I took pictures it was insanely gross. 🤢Places like this need to keep up with the bathrooms.The lady that checked me out looked a drug addict and barely talked loud enough for me to hear her. I had to say what like 6 times she literally was not even trying to care. Never ever going back. Do not go here

If you want any type of vaccine at this CVS location, save yourself time and make an appointment. They pick and choose when they want to accommodate walk-ins. The pharmacist was rude and had terrible customer service manners. Very disappointed and never going to CVS again for anything.

If you want to get prescriptions filled in a reasonable amount of time, DO NOT use this CVS pharmacy. It would be quicker to get prescriptions delivered via mail than it is to get them filled here.On one occasion, the pharmacy wouldn't fill one of my prescriptions because they claimed it didn't say how long I needed the medication for, when the paperwork I received from the doctor's office clearly stated it. The only reason I knew this was even an issue is because I called CVS a few times inquiring about my prescription as several hours went by and it hadn't been filled. They probably would've never contacted me or my doctor's office on their own accord to get the information they needed to fill the prescription, which seems like an important aspect of a pharmacist's job.

I've really given them many chances. Being told to come back the next day, prescriptions not being done the following day. Sometimes taking days to fill something that they told me was in stock. Having to ask multiple times for them to contact my physician on an insurance hold. They're busy. So I'll give them that. But the location needs to hire more techs then. Wish them the best, but I'm moving pharmacies.

Horrible horrible, first of all I get people need lunch, but when you have customer waiting for there prescription maybe apologize and ask if they can come back prior to them waiting in line, the first lady said closed and walked away the second lady rung my prescription but refused to use my discount coupon so instead of pay the 25 dollars, I had to pay 115 out of pocket.i have no choice my insurance only deals with this place.If I did this at my place of work I would be fired. Customer service should be your first priority, with out your customers you would not get a pay check.

Zero stars, and I do not like to leave negative reviews. This store hires rude assistants. The pharmacists are overworked. Do not bother trying to get a COVID booster here. Our online-scheduled vaccine was canceled without notice becausethe staff could not figure out how to bill, and after we spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong, I tried to leave a number for the pharmacist so he could be walked through submitting the claim when he had time for it. The pharmacist's gatekeeper thought her job description read "denial of service" rather than "customer service." I wasted 5 hours and gas money between driving and sitting on the phone. I should have been more grateful for that privilege. I have worked in customer service. It is totally within the wheelhouse of any person tasked with answering a phone to try to resolve problems without acting like they are just too bothered.

Received a text that my prescription is ready for pick up. I paid for it online and headed to the store to pick it up. The pharmacy is closed and the cashier in the store says… “We don’t know when it will reopen. We don’t have a pharmacist. We hope to have one by Monday. (This is Thursday!) If you know one that can apply for a job please send them.” Seriously? Did you really just say that to your customer? CVS is better than this! Corporate needs to send help! Approx 10 others standing in the store asking how they can get their medication. My RX is back there, paid for and no one can get it for me. And I can’t go to another pharmacy because CVS is printed on my insurance card. Unacceptable!

This pharmacy is the biggest joke ever. You tell me my doctor calls a prescription in at 9am and it isn’t ready by 6pm and you tell me to come back in an HOUR!? Always a 25 min wait at the drive thru. Thought they were convenient but I’d rather spend my time driving to Giant Eagle and walking in to get prescriptions that is filled immediately after the doctor calls in.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The pharmacist AND the workers in the pharmacy are extremely rude and incompetent. And don't expect to have your prescriptions filled anytime soon because that won't happen. I literally just called to check on the status of a script 5ua6 was called in by a doctor 3 days ago and she told me they were waiting for me to call in??? For what?! And nobody even contacted me saying i had to call them. Then she got extremely rude over the phone and hung up on me - avoid this horrid place - I'm switching to another place

Had been having trouble here with prescriptions for a while. This last visit the staff told us they were too busy to run our insurance. Went down the road to Rite Aid and had it filled within minutes, without problems. Won’t be back.

Today was probably my final straw with this pharmacy. Get the text my script is ready, bc I went to icare bc I am sick so I would like to have my script, oh idk, today. Check the app to see when the pharmacy closes and it said 6. Get there, the sign says 5 and it's 4:58 and the screen is down. I ask someone if the pharmacy is closed. She said yep, pharmacy is closed. So, wait a min. The app says 6, the sign says 5 and someone just decides that it's closed before 5. Interesting. I fully intend to express my displeasure with the pharmacist tomorrow. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Will not be returning to this pharmacy every again. Went back to the pharmacy counter, only to witness this absolute Karen yelling at the employees behind the counter. Then, I realized that it wasn't a customer - she was an employee. By the sound of things, she was probably a manager, as she ranted about an employee that called off. Janine, if you're out there, no one could honestly blame you for not showing up today, if this is what your have to work with. Just know that this person, presumably your manager, doesn't seem to have any issues openly complaining about you to your coworkers, and the rest of the store.Then, when I went up front to the checkout, the cashier thought it was cool to just open-mouth cough 3-4 times, without so much as an effort to turn away or cover his mouth... IN... A... PHARMACY.Please, just do yourself a favor and don't go here.

Stopped in since I was in the area of a CVS Store and thought I would be able to get my Flu Shot ! There wasn’t anyone but the pharmacist and one clerk in the department and no one waiting. I asked if there was time to get a Flu Shot and the Pharmacist said they only do them by appointment only. What a joke!!!

Would give absolutely zero stars. Went for a drive through covid test wich was scheduled and we were there in the drive through 5 mins early to set for almost and hour to get to the window to find out that they didn't even see our appointment on there and then i said something to my wife and the pharmacy worker started snapping at me and getting and attitude and then decided to slam the window in my wifes face as she was trying to ask a question. Absolutely unacceptable and then when i called the store the shift manager was very helpful but was not at all surprised that this happened to us. Absolutely ridiculous to have to deal with that kind of nonsense from a business

i just “dont feel comfortable” giving a decent review to a place with a pharmacist that “doesn’t feel comfortable” filling a medically necessary medication because a patient is trans. transphobia has no place in any branch of healthcare. the menoher location is fantastic though, id go there instead!

I have had horrible experiences with this CVS pharmacy. They always take a long time to fill prescriptions. Additionally they have no idea what is going on. I went there recently to check on a prescription and they told me they didn't receive it. I told them to check again and they said they have it and it will be ready in 25 minutes. 30 minutes later I go to get it and they said they never received it again and blamed them not receiving it on a storm. They then blamed it on insurance. It took me going back to the store 4 times to finally get my prescription. I have always used this pharmacy out of convince but it's not worth the hassle.

Would give a 0 if I could. They make you sit on hold forever to ask about a prescription. Employees can't handle pre authorizations and act lazy with a 'whatever' attitude. Sounded like I interrupted the awful woman's 40th smoke break of the day. My mother has cancer and they could care less if she gets her medication. We only went here because the prescription required a CVS. Thankful they are not our regular pharmacy. WORST SERVICE EVER from a pharmacy.

Pharmacy use to be great until about a year ago, now the pharmacy is closed when they are to be open. 145pm on a Friday and they were closed drive through and Inside. Some pharmacy staff is great and others seem as if it’s a bother you are there to get your prescriptions.

I have been to this cvs a few times for something quick and lately the new manager I believe her name is dawn has been very rude and disrespectful. Things such as talking about people( customers) after they leftCouponers with legit coupons cause I did askThen told one of the workers which are handicap to hurry up.Very pushy rude mean and disrespectful but behind your back wen she thinks there is no one in the aisle. When I go to a convince store to grab some snacks I shouldn’t hear who u thinks works and doesn’t work cause the ppl who normally complain that much are the ones who are too busy running their mouths and not working themselves

Stood in the checkout line for about 8 mins and there were two people working. The one could clearly see I was in line for that long and said absolutely nothing. Then when the other girl finally stood up and seen me waiting. Asked why I was standing in the CHECKOUT line. So she treated me like a child and went over to the kiosk self checkout to pay. Yeah bc clearly your incapable of ringing people out yourself. You two weren’t even doing anything and couldnt help me or the other people in line.

Gave me the WRONG MEDICINE!! called my Dr to verify that he sent over the right prescription and he did. The doctor told me not to take the medication they gave me because it was entirely different than what I was SUPPOSED TO GET. They must be mixing up bottles since I got someone else’s medicine. Do not go here they might poison you with the wrong med. Disgusting work ethic..

If you have asthma, allergies, or any other breathing difficulties, avoid CVS pharmacy on Scalp Ave. in Johnstown PA. Also avoid it if you like prescriptions to be filled close to the time you are told.I was there today as one is the technicians took her cigarette break right along the front of the building where customers park and walk. When she was asked to move, after seeing I have to wear a mask because of breathing issues, she moved, one parking space over & closer to the entrance and handicapped parking spots.It was brought to the attention of the manager who said the employees are allowed to smoke anywhere. He said it is a corporate decision. My issue isn’t that someone is smoking. It’s that someone is smoking where I and others with breathing issues have to walk in order to get our medication. I will not be back to this store or any CVS store since this is company policy.All is that is enough to make me never go back. The customer service was also awful. I was told my prescription would be ready in an hour. When I came back, over an hour later, I was told it would be at least another 45 minutes. I understand things can happen, but this was too much.

Terrible pharmacy! We always have trouble getting refills. My daughter has been without an inhaler for a week. No one will answer the phone when I call. I wish we could go to Walmart. They are so much better. If you have a choice, don't go here. They have no idea what they are doing!

Our Rx's are always delivered well-before we run out ---- generally 3 weeks before. Staff is courteous and pleasant. The products sold in over the counter health and beauty aids are top of the line. CVS brands we buy are USA origin. That is a big plus with us.

I called for a prescription refill, I was told a date 2 days later (the 16) , I had enough meds to make it till then, so I patiently hung up(my last refill was the 17th). 2 days (the 16th) later I try to get said prescription and they advise me it cannot fill for 3 more days (the 19th). So, if I filled this medicine the 17th, and take it as prescribed, how do you expect me to wait 2 extra days? My doctor had even called and said it was OK to fill the 16th. The medicine can cause seizures and withdrawal if I don't have it. Incredibly Terrible service. And that's being nice. Script's take forever to fill and are rarely ready on time. If my doctor is in charge of my medical care, they blatantly ignored my doctors request. The best part is I RECORD ALL of my calls, so they cannot even deny it. Completely rediculous. I will be contacting corporate offices. Use a different pharmacy!!!!

I agree with all of the others. They are not very consistent at all with anything they do. Always late on filling our prescriptions and their automated system is joke. Countless times I've been put on hold when I've called in to see if something was ready. The one time I was on hold for 25 minutes. If my insurance company wouldnt force me to go to this pharmacy, I would go anywhere else if possible! Horrible experiences just about everytime I go. Excuse after excuse!

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My doctor submitted a prescription for me 2 weeks ago, it has not yet been filled. I have tried to contact them by phone, they just do not answer it.I take a maintenance drug that is a combination of 2 medications. They have not been able to obtain this prescription for 6 months. I have to order each medication individually, thus resulting in two co-pays versus one.I would go elsewhere, but they are the primary pharmacy associated with my insurance plan (Aetna).
