This place is good! A lot of options between soft serve or hard ice cream. Plenty of toppings. I got cake batter soft serve with brownies and cookie dough. AMAZING. Plus they let you try before you buy.

Very good soft serve. Delicious to the last spoonful. Very happy to find a place that still does a classic vanilla cone with a chocolate dip. Yum! They also have numerous flavors of soft serve that you can mix together. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. The prices were very reasonable as well.

I normally go for scoped ice cream, but gave the soft serve a try. A respectable soft serve ice cream! They had many flavor options to choose from. Plenty of other options as well, from Italian ice to smoothies

After grabbing dinner at Marion Hose with our dog Willow, we did icecream at Wood's. Willow got a pup cup, which is big enough for sharing if you have more then one dog. They also have different options for pooches. I choose Strawberry for myself and there were plenty pieces in it and was very yummy.

Amazing soft serve. I got the marshmallow sundae and it was too much for me to finish by myself, and that's saying something. Prices were very reasonable as well.

If your in the area definitely stop by and check out the cute little town of Jim Thorpe! Wood's has some amazing ice cream with alot of options to pick from. I got a medium cone and it was huge!!! And the ice cream was rich and creamy, so delicious!!

Nice road side ice cream shot next to the train station. They have mostly soft serve with a few hard ice cream flavors. Lots of flavor boosting options, like dipped ice cream and mix ins. The staff was working quickly and even with a long line they turned out orders very quickly. Super friendly and priced all under $7

Woods is always a great time & they even have some “Doggie Treats” on the menu! Heidi chose the Doggie Sunday served with Milkbones and topped with all natural peanut butter!

Had the black raspberry hard serve and my wife had the banana soft serve. Hot day in upper 80's with 70% humidity. It was the post 25 mile bike ride celebration. Good portion size, average price and good flavor. Would eat there again if in town.

The ice cream was great and the workers were kind but the prices on the menu do not match the prices of what they charge and I thought I was only buying two hand dipped Sundays for $6.10 and then tax, not nine dollars a Sunday. I ended up spending almost $20 on what I thought was only gonna be around 13. The owners should have put more thought into their sign this year, and I was also told by the kind people that they have not been working here long, not even more than a week. They’re the only two there and the owners are nowhere to be seen training them. They did not know how to respond to my questions. Maybe if the owners were there and present, they would’ve been able to answer why my hand dipped Sunday was 1.5x the amount of what was shown on the board. I’m giving three stars because the ice cream was good and the workers were nice but I’m taking two stars off due to the owners. And the lack of training they provided. They were so new they were having trouble with how to work the square register. Somebody should have been behind them, showing them what to do. they were very kind and polite and handled the situation the best they could. I understood it was not their fault and I paid and tipped, but I hope this gets corrected in the future. Thank you for reading!

Literally clueless employees. Out of my group of 5, 3 came out wrong, and were also corrected wrong. I was abruptly told that “they had a lot of orders!” Before I explained that they didn’t have to remake my order, just simply put the cone on top. It seemed as if both interactions between us and the cashier, as well as the person bringing out the ice cream were not registering with them. Our group is always easy going and understanding, but at least act like you’re somewhat listening to customers. When placing our large order, we were not confident that it would be carried out correctly, based on the minimal signs of life given off by the cashier. Well, we were proven correct.Everyone makes mistakes, I’d definitely go back considering the soft serve ice cream was great, but at least act like you are listening to the customers. Definitely worth going to, but they clearly are not ready for crowd of people wanting ice cream before the show at the opera house that night.

We’re a Hispanic urban looking family I guess you can say, we just wanted some ice cream for our kids on a beautiful day. We politely waited in line nearly 20-30min and our service was completely ignored.They served people that walked right in front of us(happened to be of white descent) and once we finally asked girl she claimed we’re at the wrong window MIND YOU they seen us standing there the WHOLE TIME and didn’t bother to inform us neither did the kid at the other window taking orders,We’re visitors to the town unsure of how it works but they just kept taking other people and completely ignore the fact we were there…We never bother to leave bad reviews but this definitely made us feel segregated. Not a good feeling when your with your kids and things happen like this.We left with no service nor any consideration

This establishment isn’t just another ice cream stand. The portions you get and the quality of the oft and hard ice cream is top notch. Couldn’t believe the amount of cookies in the cookies and cream . The waffle cones were awesome. Don’t Change a thing. Top notch and I don’t give feed back often. They Deserve the feed back that folks recognize their business ethics.

It's a great place to go after hiking. It's good ice cream and a lot of varieties, soft serve and whatever you call regular ice cream. They've got hot and cold drinks as we'll. The serving sizes seemed pretty big as well so ask to see the sizes before ordering. Lastly parking is a little limited, mostly on street. Enjoy!

The black cherry Soft Serve was delicious!! My pups loved it!! The mango smoothie was pretty good. The young lady working there is very friendly and helpful. Please don't forget to tip. They also take Visa and MC.

If you are looking for an amazing ice cream shop I highly recommend Woods ice cream. The girl who served us didn't miss a beat. And the prices were almost too cheap, dare I say ! For a small cup that was ALOT of ice cream it was well worth it to indulge. Next time I visit Jim Thorpe, PA I will be sure to come back to Woods ice cream!

Had Woody’s when I was home visiting my family a year ago. Great, friendly service and delicious ice cream and frozen yogurt.Went there tonight to find out they closed earlier than the time advertised on google.Wish there was a way I could have known this so we wouldn’t have made a trip out of our way.Hope I can have some next year!
