What an excellent hidden jem! Food and service was fantastic! And at the end they even box it up for you... Fried Ravioloi to start. Homemade ravioli (meat & chesse), Chicken parmesan and Fettuccine in Red Sauce . Absolutely a most excellent meal!

I made Reservations for dinner at Pietros. I support local businesses, 100% however, I do not support this business at all, nor should anybody else. They pad the bill by charging for salad dressing also, they were out of marinara sauce, so they offered to make more and charge an additional monies because they had to make it. Ordered soup and they arbitrarily increase the price. I question the additional charges, however I graciously paid the bill and also gave a 20% tip . At 10 o’clock this evening my phone rang, and it was a female from Pietros calling and she began to tell me that she understood my position. However, I should go to Denny’s or Burger King to eat if I cannot afford to eat at her restaurant. Please be warned of random excess charges and extremely rude and unappreciative owners . they should change The name of the restaurant from Pietros to sneaky Pete’s

AMAZING RISOTTO, SCALLOPS, AND SHRIMP. Best I have ever had!!! It's not a cheap place to go, but that's because you get what you pay for. Definitely high-class authentic Italian food with French style. Well-worth the money. Will be coming back ASAP.

Absolutely disgusted with our New Year’s Eve dinner. What we thought was a good night, minus the huffing and puffing about me and my boyfriend drinking water, ended with our waitress over-charging our bill by $40. After we caught on and questioned it, she said it was not intentional and redid it for the correct total. Ignoring that, the bill was $119 and we left a 15% tip. The waitress proceeded to rudely say to a coworker as we left, “Are you kidding me, a 15% tip!?!?” We left, and she proceeded to come OUTSIDE and yell at us saying, “IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO COME OUT TO EAT DON’T COME!” I’m absolutely appalled at the behavior of this establishment and will NEVER be coming back. What an absolute disgrace… I worked in a restaurant for 3 years and never experienced or witnessed such disrespect. My mom later called to complain to the owner, and the waitress was the OWNER’S wife. She said to never set foot on her property and if we want water to go to Denny’s. Insane! I hope she finds the mental help she truly needs.

The waitress who is apparently the owners wife was very rude. Huffing and puffing when you ask her for a water etc. Tried to pad our bill by $40. So we gave her a 15% tip. She then came outside and screamed at us!Katrina told us”If we can’t afford to tip, then never come back!!” I’ve never been banned from a restaurant before, but I always thought you get banned for doing something more noteworthy than leaving a 15% tip for a rude server who was the owner. Don’t know why the owner is collecting tips anyways. Those should be going to the waitresses and waiters who are probably getting paid scraps.We then called the restaurant and wanted to speak to her. I wanted to explain to her that she was rude and that was the reason for the tip. She didn’t let us speak and told us to never come back and to go to Denny’s. Which to be honest is very sound advice! The food is actually better! Silver lining is if you do go there, she will tell you where to get better food. So, we are banned…Little does she know, after tasting their tough, rough, unseasoned chicken, flavorless pasta, and hard stale cappellettis I had no plans of ever returning. They must be really hurting if they feel they need to pad bills as well. The BBB probably needs to be alerted.Anyways, save yourself the trouble and go up the road to Rossi’s. Their food is superb, the restaurant is gorgeous, and their service is alway excellent. They always get 20% minimum from me! :)

AWFUL And HORRIBLE!!!Don't know how the food is.... Never got the chance.. because of the Extremely Rude Hostess/Bartender!!!... We heard from someone this is a very nice restaurant, so we decided to give it a try...on a Sat Evening I walked in with my family (a party of six).. we said hello would like to get a table... A woman standing at the end of the bar asked us if we had a reservation and we told her no... She said word for word... YOU PEOPLE NEED TO LEAVE NOW....YOU NEED A RESERVATION (she then chuckled with a snotty sarcastic voice) I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU EXPECT TO COME IN HERE ,WITH ALL OF YOU AND GET A TABLE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT... Didn't even get a chance to say we were sorry .we didn't know ..that was very rude ignorant and unprofessional.. how are we supposed to know .we were just trying a new restaurant .That was very ignorant and we will NEVER Step foot in this Estabishment.. she could have been nice a lot about it and said I'm sorry you need a reservation and we have nothing available.... that would have been the more professional way to handle it...

The best Italian restaurant in the area.We have been going to Pietro s for the over 20 years. We have yet to be disappointed with anything on the menu. Service matches the quality of the food and Wayne is a top notch waiter. Peter goes the extra mile to make sure that his food is always delicious.Authentic Italian cuisine at it's best 👌

Under circumstances of virus you think they'd take a small. Get together. Pete is a great cook after this they lost us never be back.

I guess everyone else's food was good. My salad had about 1/4 cup of lettuce on the plate. Very sad. My chicken strips were covered in a yellowy goopy sauce. Not appealing at all. I've had way better here. My parents eat here all the time. You missed your mark on this on chef. Sorry

Called to see if there was any availability for reservations, granted last minute, however a woman with a raspy voice said “745 but who calls the day of? No really” she continued to go on and we hung up on her.We always go to pietros for dinner and enjoy it but I wouldn’t spend any money under rude nasty combative people. You are running a business and should always be professional. You thrive on human interaction why treat a human less than? That doesn’t work for me and what goes around comes around. Always be kind to others.

Recently my husband and I ordered (takeout) the Chicken Parm special. The chicken was delicious but I was very disappointed in the tiny Styrofoam containers of pasta (one of them was angel hair which we both hate) especially since there was no bread or rolls included. So we boiled some spaghetti hoping to stretch our dinners but there was so little sauce that it wasn't very appetizing. Also, they told us they ran out of salad dressing (an Italian restaurant with no salad dressing! Couldn't go to the store and pick some up?) so we used our own at home. Both of us were still hungry afterwards. Pietro's was always my very favorite restaurant when I lived in Jessup in the 70s so I was very surprised at the small servings especially for the price we paid. Probably won't be ordering there anymore. Too bad.

One of the best restaurants in the Mid Valley area. I've been here a hundred times, no matter what you order it's gonna be awesome. And Wayne is a fantastic server and bartender. Always a solid choice.

There are few chefs that can compare to the genius behind the food served at this restaurant. It's called Italian American cuisine, but the food has a very strong French influence. If you are a fan of all different types of sauces this is the place for you. I just had a veal dish.... Sauteed veal with shallots, spinach and a tomato veal cream sauce with jumbo lump crab meat. Outstanding!

Waited for over 15 minutes for them to even take my drink order. Then, when I was finally waited on, I made the mistake of asking for a drink list or wine list, as I was never provided a menu. I was then told, in a very condescending and disrespectful manner that they didn’t have one. I then asked about their selection of wine by the glass, as they are an Italian Restaurant, I was told with a condescending smirk, “well, we have red and white”, obviously not very helpful.
