My parents are from Jersey Shore and any time we visit, we stop by Thompsons to order atleast 6 to 8 boxes of the mini bologna sticks. This was my first time visiting without my parents and I was worried I would get it wrong. Went Monday and placed my order to pick up today, Thursday. Went in around 1pm and my order was ready. The best part, the lady was super friendly and nice. It was nice to walk in and just have a nice conversation. We don't get that very often in florida, only certain places. She wished me well on my long trip back home ans my order was ready waiting downstairs. Thank you Thompsons Packing and to your awesome staff. We will always be back

We took 20 pounds of venison to Thompsons to have them make hot dogs (like we have done several times before). We never got a call they were done and we called MANY times and always go an excuse. Our friend who took his meat there with ours got his hotdogs back. 2 1/2 years later we still don't have our meat or any product back from them! Poor business practices!!!!!!!!!!

Our group dropped off 150 lbs. of venison to be made into hotdogs. This was in January, Still nothing. All we get is a run around every time we call. Now Family picnic season has come and gone with GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!!! We are not the only ones with this problem. One has to wonder, was the meat mishandled and spoiled, freezer burnt, stolen, or somehow used for their own gains? This will soon be questions ask in a courtroom.

Dropped 58 lbs of venison off in January to be processed into hotdogs/bologna. Received no finished product or any communication from the company. After hearing rumors that they lost a bunch of venison due to a freezer malfunction, I started calling and politely inquiring about the status of my order. I was given the COVID excuses and when I asked specifically about the venison loss, they denied it. Last week I spoke with the PA Dept of Agriculture and they confirmed that they investigated complaints of a foul odor coming from one of Thompson’s freezer trailers over the summer which turned out to be thousands of pounds of spoiled venison. The Dept of Agriculture required Thompson’s to dispose of the meat. It appears Thompson’s is being less than honest with customers who have been waiting for their venison.

Took over 100lbs for hot dogs and bologna in late december have not received any of it. No curtousy of even a phone call any communication has been intiated on our end. If I could give negative stars I would. PATHETIC!!!

Bought hot dogs to take back home, in ohio.NOT the hot dogs we remembered as kids from here. Tough, very little taste. The rest of them will go out to the night-critters.

I dropped off 32lb of venison the first of January for bologna & hot dogs I have not received a call yet this is uncalled for that’s 8 months unacceptable post if anyone else is in the same boat.

Took 20 pounds of deer meat to process for hot dogs back in December, we still don’t have them! They blamed Covid for the slow down but this is ridiculous.

They make the best venison hotdogs in the business, hands down...if you don't try them it's you own fault..... keep it up I'll see them soon

Not sure what is going on with your hot dogs but these are the only ones I can eat that settle with my stomach ....I have never had a tough hot dog till now......no I do not have the box they came in but they were bought at Tops in Troy, Pa......doesn't matter how you cook them whether grill/boiled/fried......they are tough......whats up with that......
