I always go here since I live about a mile away. Great staff very friendly and helpful always, even if I’m running in at 940pm an they close at 10pm.. Most people are rude and say we’re closing or closed.. Not this one, I appreciate that! ALSO I love that they have Pokémon cards now, decent deals!

I go here 3 , 4 times a weekThete are always carts with product on it in tge middle of the isles. I know they don't get a truck with product that often. You have to move these cards aside to get to what you want on the shelves. And 95% of the time there is only one employee in the store working . I would think that would be a security risk!!

Great store! Always clean and stocked and everyone there is very friendly! Megan, Yvonne, Stacey, Tina, Ken, George, and anyone else I forgot make this a great " family " to shop with! THIS is the Dollar General you WANT to be shopping at! This store may be new and there may be mistakes, but if you bring it to someones attention, it is dealt with immediately! They also learn your name after a while and interact with you if you need help in the store! Ask questions and you get the help you need! :)

Had to get some large bins for storage, the sales clerk helped me in the isle, then helped.me to my car in the rain. And pointed out my tire was low. #realhero thanks sales guy. Maybe in his 30s wearing his mask correctly!!!

Always need to wait at register for cashier. I understand they are instructed to stay busy. It's very easy to pay attention to customer walking towards register to checkout. No need to wait few minutes for a cashier.

Convenient if you need a few things to hold you off until your next shopping trip. Service was kind of slow but I go back all the time, it's right up the road from our house and usually have what we need.

I'm changing a review i previously had on here. I love DG here and how professional they are in this time. Every single worker at this DG is curtious, helpful, and professional. They really have stepped up their game. The manager there is the sweetest guy you could ever meet and when I call him and his crew go.out of thier way to find the item im looking for. By far the best ran DG in NEPA....keep up the great work and stay healthy.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of products and prices are reasonable on a lot of things. Some things like anywhere are a bit over priced but all in all great store.

Love dollar General... They have everything you need at awesome prices... West side Scranton pa dollar General also has very pleasant workers... But they need to build one In South side Scranton... So we don't have to travel so far... 5*****...

I like this dollar general. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and organized. It's a decent size store. Idk if it's the way it's set up and always clean that makes it look bigger or if it really is bigger. I do find things in this store that other dollar generals don't have. So I'm guessing it is bigger and they have more stock. They have good sales 2. Idk if anyone actually looks but they have some really cute baby clothes. I'm always grabbing clothes for my daughter there. They have buy one get one free sales, 60-70% off on baby and regular clothes. And if l buy like a cute shirt from there ppl will say "omg that's a cute shirt where did you get it?" And when l say dollar general they're like shocked 😲 LoL so check out the clothes. Ya never know what you'll find!!

Always have to wait for someone to show up at the register. The new store manager is very nasty to the employees and there seems to be a morale problem. Also the air conditioning has been broken in the store for quite a while. Use caution when entering and exiting the lot there's a huge pothole.

Your still a rip off, when i am shopping in the store and i got to the list of coupons you store has a internet blocker so it won't work on my phone app, so i usually return the items to the shelf LIKE TODAY I PUT 16 ITEMS BACK BECAUS IT WOULDN'T LET ME ADD THE ONLINE COUPONS, YESTERDAY I PUT EVERYTHING BACK CAUSE MY 5 DOLLAR OFF COUPON WOULDN'T COME UP IN THE STORE. YOU GUYS ARE VERY SHREWD, I HAVE BEEN TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW, THERE CATCHING ON SLOWLY BUT SURELY, TOO BAD.

One of the larger stand alone Dollar General stores in the area. All your typical Dollar General amenities. There is a COLTS bus stop located just south of the main entrance & a large parking lot. Convenient location for all your DG needs in the greater Mayfield/Jermyn/Archibald metro-area.

Best little store, it has everything, food, bread, snacks, bakery items, home decor, laundry supplies, tools, seasonal. No need to run to Walmart. I love this store

A lot of times when you're standing and waiting in the checkout line you might as well be in the middle of the desert that's what it seems like when you're waiting there 10 15 minutes sometimes for somebody to just come to work a register

The only place near me that sells the little Starbucks espresso shots, Cubano. The parking lot entrance is a crater-filled mess. They sell/exchange propane for 20$...and is close to our house.
