I took my family including 2 preschool grandsons on the Friday before Christmas. I had stopped there 2 weeks prior and was surprised to find a huge Christmas Village set up where several of the table seating normally is. It was huge & very nicely done with extreme attention to detail. The 4 adults got different entrees and all the food was great, they have an extensive beer selection, and the kids loved the Christmas Village setup. It's nice to see someone continuing traditions from the past. Our waitress was the owner's daughter and she was excellent too!

Had dinner here friends on our first visit. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices were very reasonable! Honestly the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had! The only shortfall was the temperature of the food. All our meals were barely warm. We will definitely return to give them another try hoping for a hot meal.Parking: Small lot

Had a reservation for a party of 10. They were all ready for us when we arrived. Downside is for a Pub, they don't have any beer on tap. They do have a bar and beer in the bottle or cans. Only other Downside was I had a hair in my salad which they took care of. They had a lot of great options on the menu. Really good specials featuring delicious stuff. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the special portobello stuffed mushroom pasta. It was delicious. The portions were also big in size. If I lived here I would definitely be returning and trying all the stuff. I would recommend.

What a great time, a very creative menu, with very reasonable prices, on that can be rather expensive in other restaurants. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable on the extensive menu. They don’t have beer on tap, but they do have a huge selection of bottled beer and a nice selection of wine, that is reasonably priced. The only down side, was the very cheap utensils and plates. Everything else was well worth it, and I will definitely be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has a long wheelchairramp

First time here tonight. I'll admit not what I was expecting walking in. The atmosphere was great. It was home feeling with a side of cozy. The menu is huge! There are so many tasty choices. My wife went with the ranch steak and black and blu topper. The steak came out great! I went with the chicken Bella special and it was amazing! Everything about Flyin Lion was great, especially the service!. We definitely will be back to try some other flavors.

This place came highly recommended by a few colleagues. I may have set my expectations too high but I was disappointed. My pasta was swimming in oil, lacked flavor, and the seafood was tough. I hate giving a bad review but feel like I need to be honest.

We went for the first time recently, on a Sunday, which is our only available day of the week to eat out. Our area has VERY limited options for Sundays, so this place was already winning, before we knew much more. However, after our visit, we decided this is DEFINITELY our new favorite spot, for multiple reasons. First, it's a beautiful drive down Somerset Pike, from up our way, which can be a "mind clearer". Perfect for a Sunday evening. Second, the people who work here, AND the owner, are super special folks who welcome you like family! We are used to living in a large Metro area (before moving to the Laurel Highlands) and kindness goes a long way with us. And, third, the food really is truly phenomenal! Now.....we're not talking about the pizza or wings.... no sir. We can get that without much of a drive from home. We're talking about the weekly Specials that the owner clearly pours a lot of love into. We had the prime rib, which is the best we've had since moving here 6 years ago. SO EXCITING. (I'm considered the Prime Rib Queen in certain parts of the south. 😉😅 I KNOW MY PR.) My husband and I shared that, and the duck with blackberry balsamic glaze. So tasty and well presented. And, actually more than either of us could eat in one sitting. LEFTOVERS! We also want to note that both of us got the strawberry-poppyseed dressing on our salads and hubby now wants enough to drink! So, there's that. 😁 The Flyin Lion also has an outdoor covered deck, which is wonderfully lit with lots of plants and Edison lights and just so cozy. Just my kind of atmosphere. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to try some more of those Specials!

We had a group of 6 on a Friday night. We were seated right away. Our young waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Our dinners were all amazing! 4 of us got the ribeye and mashed potatoes. It was the best steak ever! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Originally 4 star. I'm not sure what happened here to make the food so terrible. The pizza reminded me of gas station pizza, the bad kind. When the Unimart was in boswell years ago, I had better when it was left from lunchtime... at 330pm. I'll keep this short, so avoid the pizza. Any generic frozen brand is leagues better.Everything else is out of a jar or can. I mean, tomato sauce and herbs... make your pizza... yours?I ate 2 slices and couldn't get the metallic taste out of my mouth...The only thing that I did eat was the fCheese fries.

Let’s start with food. Wings were almost the worst Iv ever had. Crunchy but wet but not great. Post not great not the worst. Everything was maybe a 4/10. If u like butter it’s the place for youIt also always smoking outside so the smell comes in. No central air so the mini split brings the smoke smell bank in.Will not be retiring. Sever was great

Dinner was a disappointment in every area. It took over an hour before any part of our meal came to the table. That included salad, soup, bread or the main meal. We had grade school age children who kept asking when we were going to eat. We never got all our food even when we pointed it out or was given any refills on drinks during the two hours we were there. The food was poor quality and when we asked for the bill we got the wrong one. A total disaster!

We ordered the hamburger & fries. The burger was excellent but the fries were not to my liking. There was a coating on them & I thought I was getting plain fries. My Pepsi needed a little more syrup. It was seltzery. There was only 1 waitress working all the tables including busing them. She was doing her best & we felt it was overwhelming but she persevered and considering there were 28 customers we were impressed by her service. I know this sounds like a negative experience but we both agreed we'd like to eat her again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this great establishment & look forward to returning.
