My parents lived approx. 45 minutes west of DeLallo's back in the 70s. They would make the trip back in the day for the large olive and cheese selections. I live out west now but was visiting Greensburg and drove past DeLallo's today and had to stop as the place looked to be much larger than I remembered. All I can say was that this place is incredible. Huge selections of anything Italian, olive, cheese, meats, baked goods, and all sorts of canned goods. I managed to drop a paycheck on some meat and cheese varieties, and of course, more than a few of the baked goods. The place was reasonably busy for a Wednesday afternoon, so I can only imagine what the weekend crowds must be like. The only regret I have is that they need to open a location in Las Vegas.

We really loved the store. We passed by coming home from Idlewild so we decided to check it out. So totally impressed with everything. It has a high end feel but the prices are fantastic. We got pretty much a little bit of everything from cheese to desserts. We live about 40 miles away but my wife insists We will be going back about once a month. All of the employees were very friendly.

Wow... What a find! Excellent food, well stocked with quality items, both fresh and imported. Vast selection at the deli counter. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Good thing that I don't live nearby or else I would be in there every day. A rare find. Well worth the trip!

Fast, friendly, clean and helpful staff if a question is asked. It is a busy store and parking is plentiful in the back..... yes there is more parking then the 20 spaces right off the highway folks. Be aware that traffic going 65 is not legal there but is normal. The prepared foods has lots of hate in the reviews but I've always had success. Cakes, pastries, deli items need to be stored properly and i didn't get enough info out of the 1 star reviews to make me not order the delicious food easily had in store. If you have concerns ask the questions of a manager maybe. The prices are steep for some things but for others there is a value. Where else can you get cheeses and meats like that in town..... I'll wait. Exactly! If you don't have a list it will cost you alot. I forgive so many things i hate in a store because it is such a great atmosphere like a vintage vibe i guess. It is a local staple and a very short $100 trip then back home with world class stuff. The place is so packed with things it is hard not to find stuff for a week of Italian style dinners.

Seriously this place is amazing. I wish there was one closer. The food and selection is truly amazing. I wish I could shop here every week. See current offerings. The lasagna and chicken parm are excellent. The sandwiches are excellent. The nuts - serious who has nuts like this? So worth the trip for me like 45 minutes one way. Plus there so many things I didn't photograph. You need to visit to experience it.

Authentic Italian food store. Everything is so fresh. Prices are as per Quality. A huge variety of Cheeze, olives and dry fruits. Italian breads are really amazing here. Biscotti and cakes are also very nice. Freshly cooked Italian good for take away option is very nice. Overall a wonderful tasty experience 👍👍

This is one of my favorite places to shop- not only does it have a 1/2 mile olive assortment, but other great Italian specialties like my family used to get when I was younger. And the smells makes you hungry especially when you see their sandwiches already made up, you won't be disappointed!

Every time I come back to visit, coming here is a must! Its often busy but for good reason as you can't beat the quality of food here! From hommade pastries to Italian meats and seafood, its just amazing. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you anything from finding a parking spot to helping you pack up some of the great food at the deli.

I've only been here twice, and so far I've had a good experience. On some of the products the prices are a little higher than a typical supermarket; but sometimes quality is worth it. But there's other items that are cheaper here when you go for the weekly sale items. They have fresh produce of a nice variety. Some of their items (such as their nuts & olives) are reminiscent of a county-market-type place in that you bag up what you want and pay by the pound. If you're looking for a unique spice or oil or pasta to make an Italian dish, this is the place to get it! And I've never seen so many different kinds of olives in my life! The bakery is pretty sweet (no pun intended). And the deli has an extensive selection of meats, & cheeses that you can't find anywhere else in a huge radius. To keep it orderly the meat & cheese side have their own number machine that you pick from & get waited on in order. I can't believe it's taken me so many years to come to this place.

My mom stopped on Sunday, September 3rd and bought me an Almonde Torte cake for my birthday because I was in town from Ohio. I understand that it was a holiday weekend but this cake tasted like it has been sitting in the cooler for over a week! The cake and custard were so dry, you can actually see it in the pictures! We threw over half of this cake away because no one wanted to eat it. I see I am not the first person to have this issue recently.

I can't recommend their catering services. They completely ignore your requests and give you what they want. I know they had our request, because it was on the order form that was attached to the food. When I called to complain they either don't return your message or when I finally reached someone, he basically laughed at me and mocked me. Very poor service.

DeLallo's is beautiful inside and out. If you're looking for quality Italian food, you've found its home. It's been a long time since I was here last and pleasantly surprised by selection of take home foods as well. The Italian hoagie is great!

I love DeLallo's. I have been going there for years. Me and my husband can't wait until lent to have their fish sandwich. Last Friday we got two sandwiches, they were on hoagie buns. Amazing! Yesterday we decided to get one sandwich and two sides. When we got home we realized they put it on Keiser hamburger buns. We didn't have enough bread. Next week I will ask to see it before I decide. Love your bakery.

Service Used to Be Great - Now It's Terrible!My husband and I have been Delallo customers for several years, mostly ordering from them online, and sometimes purchasing their items in local stores. They always packed the items well and never forgot to include anything we ordered, until the past year. With each order we received, items were missing, cans were dented, lids on jars were loose so that jar contents spilled inside the packing box, and items were no longer packed well. Each time there were problems with our order, we wrote to Delallo's customer service team via their website link. Instead of apologizing, they refunded the price of the items that were missing or damaged, which we discovered when reviewing our bank account. Delallo gave no explanation for their order fulfillment errors, no "sorry," no offer to replace the damaged items and send the missing items - they didn't even tell us we'd get a refund. We only found out when we checked our account, which we do regularly. But at least we got our money back. We then had to waste time reordering the same items, and paying shipping again, hoping the items would be intact in the subsequent order. Again, items were missing or damaged, and again, we reported the issue to customer service, and again, no apologies. Instead, they gave a long explanation, after several messages from my wife without any response, to excuse their poor service by saying they had several orders received at the same time. We told them she wouldn't buy from them again. We were on their email list, and they removed us, which is funny because they didn't even try to get us back. They simply didn't care and took us off their mailing list out of spite. Delallo used to be great, but now their service is lousy, their attitude toward customers is worse, and even more egregious, when the mistakes are theirs, instead of owning up to them, they get angry at their customers! What a sham, Delallo. You have a lot to learn about delivering great service. Not sure what happened to your company, but those who ran it well are obviously no longer employed there.

Have shopped at this overpriced so called Italian food store for many many year until today when some rude clerk attempted to scold me because of the way I wanted a certain prepared food. Just as well as I am fed up with being gouged and there are many other similar stores that are reasonably priced and the employees and owner(s) are grateful for the customer who patronize their business. GOOD RIDDANCE!

This is an AMAZING little Italian grocery store. The produce looked fresh and some were even locally sourced. You can get just about anything here to make a full 3-5 course Italian meal.Highlights of the store - FRESH BREAD, deli meats, and large cheese selection; you can really get excessive here with the charcuterie if you're going to be entertaining. There's also outdoors seating IF you plan on eating your food from the deli there. Plus, it's clean and well lit!Tips: be sure to grab some freshly baked bread; you smell these as you walk into the store. The cheese selection is another plus, however the pre-cut pieces are relatively large so if you're shopping for just yourself or one other, it may be difficult to try more than 2 different cheeses at once. They bakery also has a pretty decent selection of pastries and cakes.Beet salad was good and simple.Stuffed mushrooms were hit and miss; the crab-stuffed and green-stuffed were good but the meat-stuffed was unusually hard.

The best thing to love about this place is the fresh food selection. You have a wide selection of foods you can get warmed to eat outside on their cute table and chairs. There's also a wide selection of pastries to choose from that would make anyone happy. Prices on most groceries are reasonable and people are attentive and friendly.

I love this store. Their cheese and deli selections are fantastic. The bread is incredibly good as well. It's one of the few places in SWPA where you can find a decent hard roll. Both their pepperoni rolls and mortadella sandwiches are out of this world.They no longer have fresh produce, but their olive selection is quite nice. They even have nicoise!

I purchased just fish a week & a half ago, for $14.99 a pound. This pass week it was 15.99 a pound for just fish & $18.00 or a fish sandwich,with $1.50 off. Why does the price change every week?? Never know what your going to pay!!!!!! And the fish sandwich was just $12.99.

Very nice market with a wide variety of items and delicious pre made foods! This place is a go to for pasta night and has all the essentials to making a baller Italian meal. The service is great and it’s clean, well stocked and organized.
