Brought my daughter-n-law and two of my grandchildren this past Saturday and a wonderful time was had by all! They loved the entire experience from a pony ride, train ride, feeding and seeing all of the animals. Well definitely be back. I recommend this place to anyone who loves animals!

This was a great experience for us and our two young ones (5 and 6.) Definitely spend the $5 on the pack of crackers. We split one pack between us and it lasted forever. The train ride lets you see animals you can't see on foot. My kids loved the pony ride. Probably one of if not our new favorite local animal park. Take cash to avoid credit card fees.

Pymatuning Deer Park is a must to take your kids and grandchildren to. They can get little food bags or crackers to feed to the animals. I would advise the food bags as the animals like them better than the crackers. They have a little gift shop and small food place too. You can take a train ride or pony ride for a $3.00 each per person. The grandkids loved both the train ride and pony ride. They also have a little mining area set up!It's located in Jamestown, Pa and not far from the Conneaut Lake or Meadville area.

Been coming here since I was a kid now I get to share the same experience I had with my kids! Such a beautiful place and inexpensive with a lot to do and see! And up close and personal with certain animals and feeding them makes the experience more fun, especially for kids! This has been a tradition of going in our family and will continue on for years to come! DEFINITELY worth going!

Pymatuning Deer Park has been one of my favorite places to go, on a budget, since I was a little kid. Feeding the deer, goats, and other small animals is a joyous and relaxing experience. This time I took my nieces and nephews and we all had a blast! There's a small playground for the kids, a few places to get some photo ops, a small Wild West designed area with snacks, drinks, and some cute little activities. It takes just a few hours to see and experience everything, but is perfect for a lazy Sunday experience, when you want to be home and in bed on time! After the park, we went over to the Linesville Spillway/Causway to feed the ducks and fish. We still had plenty of time to get home, relax, and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Its a great place to take your family for an afternoon if fun. Very much worth the cost of entry, plus buying a few big boxes of food. Keeps the kids happy for a few hours. They have children's horse rides, bird house where you get swarmed by a bunch of bright birds (fun lol), a train ride around the park, and some animals you'd see in zoo like lions, bears, camels, ostriches, emu, and many others. Check them out for sure!

Awesome place to take kids to and adults of all kinds. Petting Zoo was fun! They have a train, which is extra, they have this bird cage that is extra to go inside and pony rides, it is so much fun! Many animals can be feed. Remember that this is a sanctuary for these animals. Kids play ground and picnic tables outside. They do have a gift shop but we choose not to go in.

It's nice and small zoo it's not like we had to spend hours to visit all the animals but it was nice and simple. We visited all the animals and never had issues. It even gets better my kids love that place because they enjoy feeding zoo animals. They love how animals gets closer and have better view of them. It's perfect for our kids! It's not expensive to go just to let you know.!!

Family and I love this place. Such a beautiful change of scenery. Recharge with the fresh air of nature. Truly an amazing, peaceful, relaxing environment. Was able to get my kids off video games for a day was very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting and enjoy some nature and sunshine and beautiful scenery.

Great family funWheelchair and walker friendly park, but it is hilly in spots, so be aware! The animals all look and smell healthy, well cared for, staff seem happy and enjoy thier jobs.Did not ride the train, ran out of time, we arrived at 4 and the park closed at 6, I use a walker and we took our time feeding at each cage allowed, "mined" for crystals at the old west town, so do give yourself time to enjoy and not just run from end to the other.Light rain the day we went and some of the animals, mostly the camels and sheep, were in thier barns per thier choice but all the others were happy to see us. Seriously, they seemed to enjoy the company!Concession stand and restroom available at 1/2 way point, where the train and old west town is and benches throughout the park for resting. Souvenirs available at entry. (*Restrooms at entry are older and not what I would call handicap accessible, a walker or wheelchair will not fit easily or at all, be aware*)All in all a wonderful day trip , check website for prices, adult was $10 each,Food for animals was $2/$5 for nuggets/crackers and they do have quarter machines with corn.Take handy wipes, the cows 🐄 like to lick your hand when you feed them lol 😆

From pulling in, till you go purchase your tickets. It can be very misleading.. It appears to be very small.. However on the contrary, it exceedingly bigger than the appearance. Pricing is very reasonable, as well as food to purchase to feed the animals ($1.00 for generous size bag). You can get very up and personal with an amazing selection of animals and also many that you cannot feed. You can go in a bird house and feed birds that will swarm you and land on you to eat. If you are afraid of birds stay away :).. little horses for rides for kids. I would highly recommend for anyone to check out in the area.

I haven taken my grandbabies here 3 times this year. They absolutely love it! It's not huge by any means but it's 3 to 4 hours of fun! The Budgie barn(bird house where you can go in and feed birds) Pony and train rides are an additional cost but worth it. They love feeding the animals. This is a great place for kids. I will visit Deer Park every year several times. Great memories ❤

Fun place to take the kids, alot of animals, some not even the zoo has. They give train rides for an extra fee and it takes you by wolves and white tail deer that you can't see otherwise. You can purchase crackers to feed the deer, they also have pony rides for an extra fee too. The park is in a wooded area which makes it nice especially on hot summer days because you're mainly in the shade. Picnic area and free parking.

A nice variety of animals that are very accessible for small kids. There are lots of hands on feeding opportunities for small children, as well. The layout is all nice and eady to navigate. There are some downsides for the animals, however. There are predators with enclosures that are too small with inadequate enrichment. Some deer are also overcrowded in some of their enclosures.

This is the best for when you don't want to rush and walk a large park. It is decent sized with multiple animals. The place is kept clean and animals pretty well taken care of. The gift shop sells some overly pricey items for what they are but it is worth it because of all the memories I have. There is a train(only way to really their wolves) and a place to drain some sand to get gems from a shop on the other end of the place where a friendly blonde woman checked our items for us. You can even enter a "jail and school" right beside it for pictures.Personally my favorite is the petting area, but that is not what it use to be since all the animals are caged now. Which is why I removed a star. However, it is a Pokémon stop.

If you like feeding and petting animals, this place is for you. This is one of my favorite places to visit animals. They've been great to visit over the years and the prices are good. They take good care of their animals. The budgie barn is a must. This place is way better than the Akron zoo.

This was an awesome experience. Small enough to be comfortable, but so much to do, see, feed, pet, etc. The Budgie Barn was amazing! (You hold a long popsicle stick with something like honey and bird seed, and tons of parakeets come and land on you and the stick to eat the treat. Beautiful, special experience!) I had two kids with me, and we bought one package of crackers for $5, and it was a perfect amount. We did the whole park comfortably in two hours, not counting our picnic lunch. We will certainly be back! For those who complained that the space for the wild cats wasn't big enough, there is a lot more fenced in space behind the buildings. I'm only guessing, but I bet there is a bigger space for them to roam after the park closes at night.

Please don't go here if you don't want to see animals in poor conditions or treated unfairly. I went here a couple of months ago for a party, not my choice, rather stay home because it's not worth the spear change you find in your pocket, but as soon as I walked in I felt guilt knowing that these animals probably aren't treated fairly. The first thing I see is a bigger bird in a enclosure the size of my closet, that fellas wingspan probably touches each side of the prison cell like cage. It's obvious that the owners don't care about the animals just the income. Their baboons there's like 15 of them in a space the size of the average living room, imagine you we're the one stuck in that situation for the rest of your life. This isn't how animals should be treated the cougar would just walk in circles and guess what the enclosure was small not big enough for a big cat, isn't it clear a big cat needs a big enclosure. I've just talked about enclosure sizes I can go on all day about how sick this place is, but I'm sure others have said the same stuff I've said and more. Just remember it's probably more interesting to see a deer out in the wild than whatever this place is, an animal prison at this point.

The kids loved the Deer Park. I went as a kid and it's still great. Prices are reasonable and everyone had fun.
