LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. They personally get to know and cherish your dogs/cats. I love that they have rotating stock of foods, treats, and toys. They supply quality items they are very knowledgeable about. They also offer holiday photo shoots and dog treats from a local pet bakery. I am a forever customer. I also love Griswold, the Griffon who works there.

Our dog was not doing great with her prescription diet and thru the advice and several products we have gotten from the dogs by design team she has not picked her nose up at meal time for over 2 years now! Our cat also loves to come down to the store and get the treats and toys she loves! I would recommend to anyone who has a pet to stop by the store.

Beth and Dogs by Design are absolutely WONDERFUL!We have always had a great experience in her store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to the health and wellness of your pets. AND they are HUGE supporters of my nonprofit rescue organization! She opens her store to us anytime for event space and adoptions as well as collecting donations for us!Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Nothing is more important to the staff of Dogs By Design than the health and wellness of our pets. Extremely knowledgeable and provides us with the best information regarding the right foods for Reily and Roy. The difference is amazing! If you want your pets to be the healthiest they can be, go and talk with them and you'll be amazed as well.

My elderly dog has arthritis and she really benefits from weekly massage therapy. Beth is really good, the location is very convenient, and Beth works with you to schedule appointments that fit your schedule. I highly recommend this service.

I have known Beth (store owner/groomer) for over 5 years, not did I work for her a short period of time, but she has become a great resource with all ofmy pets needs! Anytime I come into the store to stock up on pet food, she is always SUPER accommodating and makes my shopping experience so streamline. She now has two locations to purchase premium pet food, treats, and other needs and she is the only one in the area that carries the brands that I speak so highly of!On the grooming side of the world, she uses top of the line products and gives the ultimate spa experience to my spoiled kitty! When Roxy, gets back from the “spa” she looks like a new girl and she feels like one too!I highly recommend Beth for a groomer or someone get nutrition advice from. I love Dogs by Design!!! They are always friendly and eager to share their knowledge of everything pets... I have only fed my 3 yr old Australian Labradoodle... Raw and lightly cooked food.. Well worth the trip to Irwin ..Always well stocked too..

This store sells only high quality dog and cat food whether it’s raw, canned, or kibble. And it has the best customer service around! Beth is very knowledgeable and really has your pet’s best interest at heart. She has helped me in the past with my dog’s skin problems.

I'm always looking for an independent, local pet store that sells quality, healthy, and a full line of different foods. Beings that I don't feed my dog the same brand or type (protein, dry, canned, etc.), it's important that I have a variety of places to purchase food from.I was in sort of a ":rut" of places to shop. I needed to broaden my horizons and enter another local, independent retailer into my portfolio.Doing a Google search, I came across Dogs By Design. So, one day I hopped into my car and drove from my home in Plum to Irwin to Dogs By Design.Entering the store, initially I was mildly disappointed because of its small size. I also thought at first that my trip was wasted.But, after looking around, I recognized that in reality almost everything a dog owner would need is being offered for sale. What I also recognized is that all the "fluff", or unnecessary stuff was not offered. It was obvious to me that their goal is to have stuff that is relevant and worthy of pet owners.They have a great selection of foods of all types: high quality dry, canned, frozen, and raw. They also have high quality treats, toys, health aids, and more.This store is not for those that shop at "big box" national stores. But, it is a store for those that are aware of their dogs overall health and well being and want the support of products to reflect that.The prices are what I expected to pay; not overly priced, but, not so inexpensive either. They are fairly priced.Very clean, organized store. The saleswoman was extremely helpful and offered appropriate, helpful, and effective assistance. It was very obvious she knows her products and understands the store's objective-health and wellness for dogs.I will continue shopping at other local independent retailers on a rotational basis, but, I'm very happy to include Dogs By Design into my portfolio!
