I’m so happy with this location. Our full-sized goldendoodle got her “spa treatment “ done today and the groomers did a fantastic job! The employees are so nice here, and did a very thorough and exceptional job grooming our fur-baby.

Took my girl for her first grooming appointment. She is a puppy mill rescue and I honestly did not know what to expect. Everyone was AMAZING! The staff is so kind and professional! They did a fabulous job! They make you feel like a regular from day 1! Thank you for enhancing my baby girl’s beauty!

This was my first time taking my 2 recently adopted German Sheppard pups to the North Huntingdon location. I called before making the trip and the girl that answered was very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival I received the same warm welcome and assurance that my pups will be taken care of. The girl at the front desk went over the different salon packages and I advised which package I would like which wad a step up from the basic due to the German Sheppards fur coat, etc...I also requested the teeth cleaning.snd was advised that was included. Allnof the girls that I interacted with were very friendly. When I arrived to pick my pups up they looked and smelled great. My only complaint is that the girl that brought my pups out from the salon advised me that she wasn't advised that my pups teeth were to be cleaned and were not cleaned. A service I paid for. I was happy with the bath and other services performed. I thank the staff very much for taking very good care of both of my pups - bath, ears, nails, and keeping them happy and safe means a lot to me.

We left our girl, Willow, in Candelore’s care for a few days. She had never been boarded so I was worried. I had no reason to worry. I could tell by how we were greeted and treated at check in, that Willow would be fine. We picked her up and she was groomed (we paid extra) and in great spirits. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.

This was the first time we ever used a kennel so we were worried our boy would feel lonely. However we could tell he was ok when we went to pick him up. The staff gave him lots of attention and care and we could tell he liked them. We were so happy he was treated so nice and taken care of like we hoped.

I want everyone to know how special this place is! My three dogs, an 11 year old German shepherd, a 6 year old rescued mountain cur who is a nervous Nelly and a 3 year old chow chow, whom none of them have ever stayed away from home stayed for an overnight visit. The staff from scheduling to drop off and at pickup were phenomenal! They made sure to find out all their likes and dislikes, their schedule and their needs. They gave the pups so much attention that when we picked them up the dogs looked sad to be leaving them. Don't get me wrong the pups were excited to see us but they didn't act like we were ever gone. They gave a very informative account of the dogs stay. I highly recommend this business for all your home away from home needs. I will definitely be back to Candelore's Barking Beauties in the future! Thank you to the Candelore's team for taking excellent care of our babies!

My puppies first time getting groomed- they were so kind, and reassuring to me. They used my own shampoo and treats that I brought for them which was important to me. They came out wagging tails, clean, and even more adorable than before! Thank you!

I love this place! Finally someone knows how to groom a poodle! The Staff is VERY Friendly, Great with Nervous new comers, so Reassuring, and they pay attention to exactly 💯% of what you want in grooming your BABY! It is the Best place I have found in a 200 mile radius of Pittsburgh because I am a Travel Nurse. I have been trying out groomers for years and being disappointed! As you can see from the pics, I am NOT hard to please with a Poodle "summer cut!They also offer Daycare and Boarding!! The Prices for services are VERY REASONABLE!!I can't say enough good things about them.

We want to thank the entire staff at the North Huntingdon location for their excellent care of our two greyhounds. We were very nervous to board our “babies” for a 7 day vacation for the first time but they took care of them like they were their own. I appreciate that I was able to call and they would give me an update that put our minds to ease. The staff from the front desk, to those who took care of them THANK YOU SO MUCH, you are greatly appreciated. Plus when we picked them up they were bathed and nails clipped. We are so happy to know where we can leave them in good hands in the near future for any of our future vacations or grooming needs. Thanks again!!

Great and affordable when open but closed on Sundays and Mondays most locations and I drove to one location on a Monday that said open and there was another lady behind me bringing her dog and after waiting for someone to notice us there we got told they are only open for boarding thar day not grooming and to come back the next day after lugging my full grown saint Bernard with his messy linh fur in my new car and they wanted me to make the hectic drive the next day again when their website said open and didn't say only boarding. Great service in the past though when getting grooming done as a walking at other locations.

Amazing service! My Tiny only has 3 legs from birth. Balance is a challenge and for nail trimming a real sense of fear! The staff did an amazing job being reassuring, using distraction strategies and swiftly cutting away! Yay! Finally someone understood him! ❤️❤️❤️. AND… he is loving his peanut butter ice cream treat!

We loves candelores and their whole staff!! We have a Newfoundland/poodle and she is a lot to handle when she gets excited(not to mention an excited pee-er). The staff does great with her. We’ve been taking her since we first got her in January 2022. She loves doggy daycare and always loves going to get groomed!

I can't say enough good things about Candelore's in North Huntingdon. I have 3 cocker spaniels. We have always used a mobile groomer. Our groomer closed down and we had to move to another. They came out to the house once, groomed the dogs, scheduled me for the next appointment and never showed up. They won't return a call or a text. We were three weeks past when they should have been groomed and they smelled! I took them to Candelore's. The idea of not needing an appointment was great. I couldn't wait any longer! They were so good with each of them. The dogs weren't stressed out as they didn't spend anytime in a cage waiting. They look wonderful. Everyone there was so friendly. They definitely will be our new groomer going forward. Would definitely recommend!!

I took my doodle to the Irwin shop because I was in a pinch to get her groomed before the holidays. should have just waited for my usual groomer! they took 4.5 hours for this. shaved her whole body to the skin, but left her ears and beard long.. like some sort of terrier. I don't normally complain but I can't let this go. maybe she'd never done a doodle before, I don't know, but I won't be going back nor recommending them.

No bells and whistles (don’t update you during dogs stay, no cameras to see your dog, no videos posted on social media, etc…) But friendly staff, flexible with times for pick up/drop off, bathe dog after so many nights stay, seems reasonably priced. My pups never mind going back!

Not recommended. I took my 1 yr old golden doodle for the 1st time to be groomed at Candelore's (Saturday). I requested a doodle cut and cleaned up. When I picked him up I was shocked he didn't even look like my dog. He was uneven, all his hair was cut from his tail, head and ears. In addition, nicks on his ears. I called Monday with my concerns and was promised a call from the general manager. It is now Thursday with no return call. I called this morning and advised I will not be returning or recommending Candelore's Barking Beauties - Irwin. PS. my dog was not matted.Response to your reply. My dog was not matted nor was I informed he needed shaved. I can tell you for a fact his ears, head and tail was not matted. In addition, you didn't address the non responsiveness from the salon. I will not return nor would I ever recommend your facility.

Took my sheltie there for the first time, since my other groomer retired. They did amazing with Tokin! Exactly what I wanted done, and he smells great! The staff was WONDERFUL and said he is welcomed back anytime he was a goid boy!Thank you! We will be back for sure!

This was the first time leaving our 4 dogs at a kennel. It feels like your kids' first day of school. The dogs were antsy, we were nervous. The staff was friendly. We even called to check in on how they were. Everything went well. Drop offs and pick ups are quick and a smooth experience. Highly recommend.

Excellent service for boarding my 11yo greyhound. When I dropped him off, the ladies were so kind and loved all over him to help relieve his anxiety. They also mentioned to make sure he doesn’t walk on gravel since he’s a greyhound and I appreciated that knowledge! I called about two days in to see how he was doing and they said everyone was spoiling him and loved how sweet he is. Pick-up was a breeze except he was so comfy he didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back. Close to home, too!!
