I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Every employee has been kind & courteous. Dave, the owner, has literally unlocked the door for me when I’ve arrived late before so I could pick up a prescription. I’m greeted by name when I walk in and consistently receive my medications on time.

I agree with Kimberly. This place has gone down hill. I know it’s hard to find employees these days, but bad employees can really affect one’s business. The checkout lady was rude, curt and dismissive. When you say to a customer that you’ll call them when an item comes in, then you DON’T call, and you insist you did, that is aggravating. These people have always had my number. Iphones list the numbers and days that calls have come in and nowhere did it show their number.All this checkout woman had to say was “that it was an oversight”or “that they had so many other things to do.” Lying and being dismissive just makes matters worse. My family will be taking our business elsewhere.

Best pharmacy around!! Super nice and professional. It’s nice to be able to walk into a pharmacy or really any place and feel welcomed. Most places nowadays you feel like a burden lol. Have gotten medication for our pets here that other big name pharmacies don’t have and also human medicines as well. Highly recommend :)

It was a great pharmacy and friendly people until they would no longer fill my prescription when I've been going to them for over a year. I was not made aware that they were no longer filling my script until the day I got my script sent over. I tried to see if they would please make an exception and fill it one more time for me since I hadn't had another pharmacy at the time and they were rude about it. I've got multiple people to go there over my year of being there and l will never recommend this place to anyone anymore.

There aren’t enough words to describe how great these guys are!! Not only are my prescriptions half the cost of the big box pharmacies but it’s a true family owned and operated business and it shows! Someone is always there to answer any questions you have and they do it with a smile!! I wish I could give more stars! Top to bottom everyone here are always in a great mood and it shows that they love what they do! Have questions? Within seconds the pharmacist is there to answer with a smile! Fast, friendly, educated service!! What more could you ask for. Just try it once and I guarantee you’ll be back!!

Literally the kindest, most understanding pharmacists. I am always in and out within 5 minutes and regardless of what my prescription is for - they have never, ever treated me a certain kind of way or made me feel uncomfortable. I live 30 plus minutes away from this pharmacy as I moved almost a year ago, and still make the drive every time. 10 stars out of 5!

I am extremely disappointed with this pharmacy and would give 0 stars for awful customer service if the option was possible. I ordered my dog’s eye drops on May 24th and still do not have them as of the writing of this review. Luckily, I ordered extra drops from her vet as backup or she would be in trouble right now.When I originally called to order this prescription on May 24th, the person who answered the phone took my name and credit card number. She then informed me that my prescription would be ready for pick up by 1:00 p.m. that same day. I told the lady that I did not live in the Pittsburgh area and would like to pay for the prescription to be shipped. She calculated shipping and then told me that they would get it sent to me. I waited for over a week and the prescription had not shown up. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was lost in the mail. On June 3rd, I received a call saying they needed to confirm my shipping address and credit card number. How did we go from “the prescription would be ready for pick up” on May 24th to “we have to confirm your credit card before shipping” on June 3rd?!?! I called the lady back and confirmed the information but we got cut off on my way home due to issues with service. I thought everything was fine until I called on Tuesday June 8th and the prescription still hadn’t shipped!!! She said they had called and left me two voicemails, which I politely told her that I confirmed the address and credit card number on May 24th, June 3rd, AND NOW June 8th. This is completely unacceptable!!! My pet’s prescription must have been thrown to the “we don’t care” pile since I requested shipping. I will not order from this pharmacy again.

Great People! Dave, The Owner, Terrific and Friendly Guy all around. If you have issues with insurance or whatnot, Dave will help you in any way that he possibly can. His staff is also friendly and excellent as well.

Seeing that my prescription was called in on Monday before noon, and we explained we are leaving town this weekend, and it’s Friday at 2:30 and they still haven’t begun to be processed, I’m not happy. Unacceptable. I was recommended to change to this place by my doctor. Definitely going back to Porter’s in Moon. It may be a long drive but they are dependable.

They were filling my prescription every month with no issues until all of a sudden they said were not filling that prescription anymore. We told you 3-4 weeks ago that we were done with that medication. Yet they never told me and just straight lied to me. Said they didn't have that medication anymore and wouldn't be getting it ever again. Then next day, my brother goes to same pharmacy with same insurance and same prescription, and they fill it with no issues whatsoever. This is pathetic and this is the 2nd time this pharmacy has just cut me off for no reason!!! Im extremely mad!!!! Nobody treats anyone with respect and digni6anymore. And this place is the same.

I desperately needed my medicine last minute before I left for Disney. I was in panic when i called in. I spoke with a lady on the phone who was able to give me relief by exceeding my expectations in helping me achieve my goal. I later went to the shoppe and was able to speak with her and a man named David. I explained my story to him and with out skipping a beat his first reaction was to call the doctors office and rush the script. I would also like to mention this place was busy when I entered the shoppe. David and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and this kind of care and service is a dying breed so I figured I would recognize them! Well done medicine shoppe !!

Pet Meds - with 3 special needs pets THIS is the place to go. Dave goes above and beyond to make sure your pet’s meds are done right. Mine have all had to take a very small dose which at times means cutting down a pediatric human dose. He even helped figure out what was going awry with my cat when she was having a hard time with her blood pressure. And his suggestion was the thing that fixed it!Dave is like an encyclopedia of knowledge. He takes his job seriously and has compassion.In the past I had tried other places for pet meds until I found this place.They can make compounds - liquid, chews and they have every flavor under the sun.Even if we moved, I’d still order from here. Best in the business!

Truly a local jewel. Dave and the staff are wonderful, customer oriented and especially knowledgable when it comes to making personal mixes for specific pharmacological needs. These folks are licensed at pharmaceutical mixing operations, which are common in pharmaceutical production (uncommon in pharmacy personnel). These operations include dissolving powders and solids, combining raw materials, preparing fine emulsions, particle-size reduction, facilitating chemical reactions, modifications and promoting uniform heat transfer.

Dave is excellent....helped my family when I needed a medication right away....it was Saturday at closing and he went above and beyond...walgreens wanted to charged me over $3,000. For something that wasnt covered on my insurance....Dave charged $35.00...

Fast in and out, have my meds all but once but have been very helpful seeming that I have hard time finding other pharmacies to fill my medicine, as other act as Drs and say if I should receive it or not. Haven't had that problem here.
