Giving honor where honor is due here! My pregnant wife, along with our daughter were on a walk and stopped in to purchase a water bottle. My wife’s Apple Pay wasn’t working on her phone, and she had no cash on her - and they were very thirsty from the walk. The caring cashier - Jada - then decided to pay for the water from her own pocket! Thank you to the whole team at Upstreet Ace, and for Jada specifically for your kindness - and you bet I’ll continue to shop local for my hardware needs!

They have a great selection of tools and hardware for the size of the store, I was impressed to see that they have an entire basement level full of plumbing, hardware, tool, lawn and garden, as well as a Stihl repair shop. I wad pleasantly greeted by every employee that was in the store and asked what I was looking for. I was impressed that they are as fairly priced as they are for their size they can easily complete with our local box box store. I will be shipping here very often. Very nice to have a different hardware store in town.

Went to Lowes recently to get glass cut. The young man working the counter warned me that the glass cutting jig would cut it cooked due to it being installed incorrectly up to 1/8" off over 24 inches (kudos to him for telling me first!).Rich, at Ace, cut it perfectly. He also packaged it in cardboard and ensured it wouldn't fall out (etc). Thanks Rich.

Have been to this Ace store a number of times since it opened. The customer service is amazing. An associate is always willing to take me directly to the product I am searching. Having little spare time, the fast assistance is so appreciated. Was helped by Matt today. Told him I was struggling with hornets who made a nest under my siding. My dogs were getting bit and one is very allergic. He loaded me up. I was on my way within 5 minutes. Beautiful!

Great selection of items to buy. If there is something you need - they probably have it. However, some staff is lacking on proper training. My husband asked 'do you have ...' 'I'm not sure'.. Next question 'does it come with a battery?' I don't know.' Does it come in a kit?! 'I don't know'.. Not expecting someone to know every tool or product in the store, but how to get help from a coworker or go look? Please train your employees for their comfort and the customer. He ended up not buying anything and I know if that happens again, it will be a last resort to stop there instead of 1st since you are convenient and have so much available.

Visited for the first time today...super friendly and helpful staff. The owner is committed to the community. The store is a lot bigger than I thought and has everything (except building materials like, wood, composite boards, etc.) for home needs. Just an absolutely amazing store...

I'm so glad this hardware store has opened in downtown Indiana, PA. It's a blessing to have a place as big as this which compares to Lowe's (which is on the other side of the town). The prices at Ace hardware are very comparable to Lowe's also.

Went to stop in for a quick plumbing fix and they’re closed at 5pm. What a waste. As a contractor this will deter me from ever purchasing here (or I guess try to).

I was very disappointed when I got there because the tool and hardware section is in the basement with no public elevator so with being mobility challenged I couldn't get to the basementthey need to correct this for the senior citizens and people who have mobility problems
