We purchased our beardie from them. The woman who helped us was amazing! We went back a week later to pick up some other items and I left not purchasing anything. The man was rude, and completely uninterested in helping me or engaging in any kind of discussion whatsoever. I won’t be returning again. I’ll drive to Ambridge from now on.

All the animals look sick. The store smells of rot, death, and mold. The staff are basically nonexistent. This place made me and my gf soooo sad. The animals there deserve so much better. 😢

Always amazing service, one of the nicest business owners around. I have been doing business with him for years now, and I can say that he cares about his customers, and he never disappoints. I have bought numerous animals off him, such as snakes, fish, snails, rats (for food), hamsters, etc, and I've never lost a pet. I can't ask for any better. He's nice, caring, pets' health is consistent, and prices are very good. Overall pearces pet place is way better than any petco or petsmart will be.

If you want a different kind of experience when going to s pet store then this is the place for you. It’s very clean and they are very knowledgeable. They also buy may purchase your pet if you can no longer properly care for it his alligator section is very unique. It’s also amazing how many animals they have in there. Cool place for sure.

What a hidden gem! We stumbled onto this shop and decided to give it a shot. I was a little skeptical driving up to it but am always willing to check out new LFS. Wow! I am so glad I went in. Mike the owner was very friendly and helpful. He had a great fish selection. The tanks all seemed well maintained and fish seemed healthy. I was also very excited that he had rummynose tetras which I had been looking for at so many stores for so long. They were also very reasonably priced. He also had a great reptile selection, which included a 37 year old alligator!! I really enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to go back.

Fair prices, healthy fish. Only one out of two dozen didn't make it in over three weeks of having them. Very happy! Plus he has a much better selection than the run of the mill box stores carry. I was happy to see a large iguana and a caimen (separate cages) outside getting some natural sun in this nice weather.

People were super friendly and there were a lot of unique animals. They had ball pythons, cornsnakes, what looked like an alligator (could be wrong), and a lot of birds and other animals and fish. Definitely want to go again. The baby chameleons were so cute!

Great selection of freshwater fish. And other small animals/reptiles. quality brand equipment and accessories. Owner is Very helpful and knowledgeable. If he doesn't have what you're looking for in stock he can get it for you. Still recovering from the fire a few years ago.

I've been going here for over a year for my Bearded Dragon's needs and I will always return. Others may mention species being held together that shouldn't be but that was a while ago... they expanded with more cages/tanks and the animals are happy. The service is great and they always know the answers to any question you have.

I called for a question when i was looking for a bearded dragon but hadnt realized they burned down. The guy still had some and allowed me in. He was very helpful and charged a fair price. It looked like he was working hard to reopen.

I wouldn't even give this place one star if they didn't require it to post this. This pet store was decusting and the smell was horrible. Those poor alligators in the aquarium couldn't even move. Found this place repulsive.
