The pharmacist there just changed my new prescription from what the Dr. prescribed without notifying me that there was a problem or consulting with the physician. The daily tests prescribed for me come in 25, 50 or 100 packs and the prescription reads 100 for 1 test daily. He reduced it to 25 for a month's supply (last time I checked all months in the year have over 25 days!) based on concern that it would cause audit with the insurance co (he assumed). I understand the concern, but it shouldn't be up to the pharmacist to change things on a prescription without consulting the Dr. I'm new to this, but a month's supply is normally considered to be at least 30 days. He was also very short from the beginning of our transaction. Having this experience doesn't make dealing with a new condition easy.

After 4+ years of filling scripts at Martin’s, they’ll just one day tell you they aren’t doing it anymore. They withheld a script that is considered life sustaining for a week before telling me they weren’t going to fill it. All because there was a mix up with my insurance (which was totally out of my hands). They’re rude, cocky, and lack any sort of compassion. Don’t waste your time here. By the look of all other reviews, I’d say I’m not the only one who has had a poor experience here.

Gas station has a lazy guy working ! I saved up fuel perks till I had a free tank. Had two new red cans for my mower started filling my truck. He looked over n shut my pump off 2.58 cents I walked over to tell him my pump quit! He said I can't see what kind of can's you have. so in the end they stole 29 plus gallan.s of gas. When I went to the service desk for a manager . Was told its not my department . sorry. Never got my free tank. I don't shop there anymore!

Incompetent. They often don't have my prescription ready in the alloted time stated leaving me to awkwardly stand in the pharmacy area while they wait on other costumers instead of working on filling my prescription. They have lied about not having any prescription on file meanwhile in October they found one that was sent in April that they claimed not to have gotten so my doctor sent an additional prescription. It is very disappointing that I received no apology for ther mistake. I am treated noticeable different from costumers with a lighter skin complexion the majority of the time consistently by the same employees working at the pharmacy. Despite this I still remain patient and respectful. This month will be my last time using Martin's Pharmacy.

Unprofessional and no communication. Constant problems and late prescriptions.We switched over to Giant Eagle and it's like night and day.Since doing this we're shopping at Martins less and less too.They better fix the problem or eventually everyone else will be doing what we did.

Some of the people working there are very rude. I also noticed that sometimes prices posted are different from what you pay, and when I asked for an explanation, they said: it's the system's fault. One worker refused to believe me when I told him this item is only a dollar, not two dollars, after negotiations, finally he left his desk and went for a price check. I was right, but he couldn't use the keys to get me my money back. Will never shop there again.

Pharmacy is amazing! They know their customers. I rarely have to say my name when I step to the counter. As far as the rest of the store...TOO EXPENSIVE! I feel they take advantage that the college is right there and a lot of kids don't have vehicles so they walk to the nearest grocery store.

Well things changed in the world an so has the way prescriptions are handled. My doctor now uses the voicemail way of ordering the prescription. From my understanding only the pharmacist can answer these calls, making the wait time very long. The trick I use is to......physically go there an make the pharmacist answer the voicemail because asking them on the phone gets you no where an they say, nope there is no prescription here for you.

I bought prepared 8 pieces of chicken, got home, started eating a drumstick and I started tasting blood, I spit it out and it was uncooked. Took it back, got my full refund but my appetite is gone. I hope I don't get SICK FROM EATING SEMI-COOKED CHICKEN👿😤🤬

Overall I love this store! - I can usually find items there that I can't find anywhere else... I will say it is sumtimes a little more expensive than Walmart - but way cheaper than giant eagle. As for the pharmacy - I will also agree that they can get busy & frustrated & sometimes it does take 2 or 3 times what they say it will 4 rxs 2 b ready... But i went thru a period of time when i didn't have insurance & they did their very best 2 use their discount program 2 help me get the best pricing possible 4 my rxs - even cheaper than Walmart! & really - I hate 2 support Walmart anyway - i try 2 avoid it as much as possible... A few of the pharm employees rubbed me the wrong way @ 1st 2 - but I think it is just that @ times they r short staffed & of course every place has a few bad apples - but now - all know my name & r very friendly & go the xtra mile 2 get refills done, or ck on things w/ my dr or insurance if needed, etc... Im there @ least once a wk or so & have gotten 2 where the associates "know" me & r very friendly - even the managers. & any time I had a return or pricing issue or needed a rain check - they took care of it.

Do not use this pharmacy. Gave me a prescription that I could not take with other meds I was already on. I even asked the pharmacist about it and she said it was safe, it was not.

I have got prescription here many times. They are always rude right from the start. I realize they are busy but if you can't handle the stress don't do the job. I am very sick and have been waiting for over an hour!!!

This is a great Martins. This is the same chain as Giant in some other states.They have great deals weekly. This particular location has a huge natural food section and sells carryout beer, which is hard to find in Pennsylvania groceries.

Just shop the sales, and get the items you can't get elsewhere, or you will go broke. The selection is amazing, but sometimes overwhelming. The store could be cleaner. Their brand of products is comparable to national brand.

Everything is available. If you have this reward card, you can use the points to get discount on the gas. It is lightly expensive compared to Walmart.

This is the best grocery store in town, it has a great selection of fresh meats, the largest selection of organic foods I have ever seen, great point card for gas, and a great weigh your own candy and nut aisle, great selection of produce too

Some of the rudest people work here. The lady that does the beer purchases here is a mean old lady with NO people skills! Do yourself a favor and go to giant eagle.
