My experience with state farm and specifically this office should have the option of 0 stars. I filed a claim because one winter night I noticed water dripping out of my electric panel. I called the Jake Davis office and spoke to a lady who said she would put in the claim and that it was ok to get the box replaced immediately. So I follow their instructions and have the box replaced. A few days later they send an adjuster out to look at the old electric panel, which I no longer had, the adjuster informs me he needs to see it so I told him who the contractor was. A short while later he comes back and tells me they are rejecting my claim because the panel had rust in it, indicating this was a pre-existing condition. Did he look at my panel or someone elses? I dont know. Imagine that though, a panel that was original to a house built in the 60s had some rust. I tried to argue that the water coming out of my panel was not a pre existing condition but the adjuster said no. Did Jake Davis go to bat for me? Nope, never spoke to me, just hid behind his desk. I couldnt even imagine what it would be like to deal with these people if I'd had a car accident or my house burned down, fortunately this wasnt the case.
