Disappointing experience with purchasing used bikes here. We purchased two used 'department store' bikes from them and they charged us over $300. The bikes had issues from the first day we got them. One needed it's brakes replaced and had some type of gear issue. The other needed new tires as they were flat and leaking air. We were told they were good bikes that were ready to ride. After not wanting to invest anymore into the bikes we decided to see if they would buy them back. They refused and told us they don't really buy that type of bike... If you're looking to buy new they'll be helpful, but skip the used bikes they have. They are not worth the price they make you pay.

After recently moving here and needing a bicycle, I stopped in to say hello. From that point forward, Matt and his knowledge was impeccable. We decided what I needed and we put together a really nice package. First class. 5 stars. If you need a bicycle or repairs or direction, I wholeheartedly recommend the Indiana Cycling Center.

I brought my bike 3 hours from Ohio to ride the Ghost Town Trail, somehow not knowing the fork was all bent up when I arrived. They let me rent a great bike for $15 right on the spot, no deposit asked for. They saved my trip.

TLDR: Fair Prices, Excellent ServiceI called to find out their prices earlier today, and was happy with the answer. I went over this afternoon and the shop was clean and well organized. The man behind the counter listened to what I had to say, selected a bike that fit my needs exactly, let me test ride it, and then switched out the seat for me before I bought it. He told me that I should come back in 60 days and they'll look everything over and make sure it's still adjusted correctly. I'm also encouraged to call them if I have any problems before said 60 days.

Best place to go. Set me up with the right bike for my needs. Great price. Very knowledgeable. In the first five minutes I knew I was in the right place. Ive been looking for a bike since last year and today I finally went to the right place.

Very reasonable prices and they are knowledgeable. I have brought in several bikes for a tuneup and they have them done within a day or 2. I also went in asking questions about electric bikes and they did an excellent job answering my questions.

Good prices, friendly, im always happy with the tune ups and fixes. never had a problem after any fix. They are also good with bmx and trick bikes.

This is my favorite bike store in Indiana. The owners/employees there are always so friendly and willing to help. I love going there because they are quick, and don't make you wait too long. They know what they are doing, and their rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend this bike shop. Oh, and besides all that, they have cute dogs. So, if that isn't good enough for you, I don't know what is.

These guys are really special, they tuned up my bike for around $50 to $60 and actually did more than I expected to repair it, but didint charge me for the extra labor. Also, I've heard stories of these guys doing nice things for the community like helping a kid who is less fortunate by giving him one. So nice of them... Thanks for having such a good heart.

Awesome store for all your bike needs. I came in looking for a hard to find part, they didn't have a new one on the shelf. The gentleman behind the counter was nice enough to head into the back and rummage around till he found a used part that got me back on the trail. They have a couple nice dogs wandering around the shop as well. Cool shopping experience,and I'll definitely be heading back for my biking needs.

Bought a used bike rack 4my car couple years back. Happy with that purchase so I came back for a new bike. Great customer attention- showed me 3 bicycles & told me about each of them. Let me spend time in the shop so I could ask questions that came to me later. I pick up my new bike on Tuesday-

I don't write reviews too often. Maybe like 5 in my life. This is worth it. I didn't realize my bike was as out of shape as it was. I took it here, dropped it off, and was told to come back tomorrow and it would be done for sure. The next day I stopped by and the bike was done. I took it for a test drive and it rides so much better than it did. Great place. Wonderful people. Even better service.

Started looking for a new bike to ride rails to trails. Matt took the time to explain the differences between the bikes I was looking at. Felt very comfortable buying from Matt, he let me try a few bikes out before I bought one. Will be returning for all my sales and service

I first called to see if Indiana County was in the Green phase, they are. I have a Schwinn varsity that is at least 38 yrs old or more. I rode that bike and I almost fell off it, plus I was very wobbly. It's been 3+ decades since I last rode this old bike. The body placement and balance was off. I'm not a teenager anymore. I need an upgrade. They said they could help. I drove in from Mercer and met the crew. A lot of bikes in their store, both new and used, plus repairs from others in my POV.The son helped me select a bike. He asked my price range up to 800$ I said, he started at 400+ to mid to 740$. Much has changed about the bikes since my old Varsity days as a teen. I am still excited about the bike I purchased. I picked out a Cannondale, the colours I like. He explained about the bike. He took it to the back, prepped it then i took it for a test drive/bike.Remember, i haven't been on a bike for 3 decades. I felt more comfortable on this bike to test it out. I rode on the old brick road, I wasn't bounced around, it was rather smooth. The suspension was very nice. I was not too wobbly like on the Varsity. I then came back. They had a steady flow of customers, which I fully understand. I decided to purchase this bike. I got couple of accessories, plus a bottle holder is a must. He took the bike back up while the father wrote up the invoice. I had him move the handle bars back a touch. I am very pleased with the service I received, the knowledge that I was given, the over all friendliness I received from both. He helped set the bike on the pickup then I bungied it in so it didnt move for the trip back. Thank you.I'll be back within 60 days for the tuneup after riding here on the rails to trails, along the Allegheny River in the coming weeks as well as Presque Isle. I'll be taking it with me on my trips while I work. I'll need to lock it down to the 5thwheel or the Gooseneck. It's a great bike, I'm a very happy customer. Kudos and Woo Hoo!

After a few years out of the cycling world, I couldn't be more happy with my recent purchase of a Giant bike from Dave and Matt. They were both extremely knowledgeable and personable, making me feel totally comfortable with the quality of bike i needed and the decision to move forward to get back into cycling. I just stopped in today after quite some time (I live in Pittsburgh and Indiana is my hometown). The shop looks better than ever. There is a great selection of all types of bikes road, mountain, cyclocross, gravel, kids, new, used...whatever you need for your preferred style, experience and budget.There is also a nice selection of skateboards (long/standard,mini) frisbee golf equipment and even used instrument.Even better than the selection is the ownership. The Reininger men are experience in all cycling disciplines and repairs. The costs for tune-ups, equipment and whatever else you need is always fair if not a deal.One of my favorite aspects about this shop are the group rides that they have been hosting for years. All levels of riders are welcome and there is always at least one "no-drop" group, and usually another friendly but more competitive bunch for experienced cyclists who want to push a bit harder.I can't recommend this shop enough. If you need a bike and your in the Indiana, PA area - please don't waste your time anywhere else. There's never any pressure to buy; quite the opposite, Matt and Bob Reininger have always made sure that you get the bike that fits your needs - or whatever else you may find.Honestly, one of my favorite places in Indiana, PA.

By far the only place in town I would trust to take my bike to for repairs. They are wonderful people and they treat you like family. They also know their stuff for cycling at any level and never pressure you into anything. Always happy and willing to help, they will always be the first place I check for something I need.
