I can't say enough great things about Horses and Hounds!!!My cat Teddy Bear had a bad reaction to a tic and flea collar. He wasn't healing 1 week after taking the collar off and was scratching everywhere!!! I called the company and they informed me that the collar leaves an oily residue on the pets fur and needed to be removed with dish soap. They recommended 3 washes!Teddy Bear is NOT A TEDDY BEAR!!!My veterinarian gave me a sedative to give him before his appointment. Teddy was already lethargic and I called Horses and Hounds told them that I was afraid to give him the pill. The woman I spoke with told me not to give it to him. What a relief!!!They were so confident and professional that they set my mind at ease!!!Not to mention they got me in right away!Teddy Bear is doing well and soft and silky too!I highly recommend Horses and Hounds!!!

The ladies at Horses and Hounds have always been very nice and professional. I have an elderly dog who is blind and they do a great job of grooming him and cutting his nails. Every time I go to pick him up he's always relaxed and happy.

I took my cat to have his nails trimmed. The staff was friendly and cut them quickly. I was told that he did not like getting them trimmed. I expected that. When I got home and took my cat out of his carrier, he stunk like cigarette smoke. The I had to give him a bath because I couldn't stand the smell. I will never take him back there again.

I just started to take Lola my Shih Tzu there I was very impressed. Will continue to use their services. Went today for Lola's all over grooming. When I picked her up I was so delighted. My baby looked gorgeous 😍💕. Going to make them my permanent groomers.the prices are right on also.

They do a fabulous job clipping our dog's nails! One of our dogs is terrified of getting his nails clipped because,of a bad experience at Petco; however, horses and hounds are gentle with him and they get the job done every time we are so grateful for them!

Negative reviews are spot on. There are other groomers in Indiana that have worked here and do excellent work for alot less in terms of cost and hassle.

I moved to Indiana in May 2020 during the pandemic. I did not have my dogs records but had her rabies tag that was very current. So I was probably there for sure at least 4 times. I called to get my dogs nails cut because that is the only thing I really used them for for my dog and cats. Suddenly this very rude lady tells me I need a certificate for her rabies shot. Well we went to Tracker Supply LIKE THEY SUGGESTED.,they have the whole shot kit there and they told me to bring the used empty vacanation in. So we did then Suddenly this lady told me we were told several times which was a total lie that we needed a certificate for her rabies shot. We ALREAFY GAVE THEM PROOF, AS THEY SUGGESTED WE DID . I feel like they make the rules up as the decide or now that stuff is open they are picking and choosing which is bull. I or my husband NEVER HAD A CONVERSATION with any of them they took our name and that was it. Why in the world would ANY1 MAKE THIS UP. I HOPE SOMEONE PUTS THESE PEOPLE IN THERE Place. ME I WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BEC THESE PEOPLE ARE FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL and RUDE AND U ORGANIZATIONS. God luck

I Stood there looking into the window on the door as I waited in line, watching the groomer punching an old dog that was just standing there doing nothing, in the stomach so hard that its feet went up off the table. It's the older lady that works there. She did this many times as she yelled in Its face. The the dog wasnt even doing anything for this. I will never buy anything else from there and I would NEVER drop my dogs off if I can not stay and watch them being groomed. She seen me watching and continued her yelling. So she didn't care that I was watching. She obviously hates dogs and her job. If you care about your dog, do not go here or stay and watch. I've heard others say about this same lady miss treating dogs there.

We had our 2 dogs there. At 4 pm I received a phone call that out dog would need at least 2 more hours of grooming. I agreed to the price & she said I would have to bring him back. He wasn't even dry & was only brushed out on his ribs. Our females nails weren't rounded out & when we got her home she was licking her paw. We checked & her nail was cut too short & eventually was bleeding again. We will never be back. This is the first time I have ever written a review!

The people are super..clean place and for first time there they did good with a couple corrections I need for next time. Then I was shocked with the price. I paid half that with my professional groomer that moved!!! Not sure I can afford that every month. 😕 help!!

We got our pups nails done a few times and were happy until the last time we witnessed another dog being groomed and the groomer grabbed him by the back of the neck then yelled at him. We won't be back.
