Great job by the folks in the bakery. They have been our go to place for our cakes for our annual family event for the past three years. They always turn out great. Also while we were there we found a great sale on pork and sauerkraut for a great easy crockpot dinner and picked up a few other party items. The store always has a nice clean appearance and we can find want we need.We no longer live in the area but when we are back in the area we do generally make a stop at Giant Eagle.

Bought Wahlburgers at Indiana, PA. Opened the pack a day after buying and the rancid smell filled my kitchen. There are no dates on these packages. Wrote customer care and not a reply. Really disappointed and will stick with Martin's and Walmart.

First time using their Express Pickup service. Payment method was extremely hard when using more than one payment type. The Express clerk working was extremely clam and helpful! He tried his best to make it work but failed. He did the right thing next and called manager who also was very helpful. Both made the transaction happen finally and I was on my way! I appreciate the GE using team work to get my order to go through as quick as possible! Thanks!

One of the best place's to go in the area for all your need's. Bakery was so helpful today.. I needed a birthday cake for my grandson. He like's buttercream icing and white cake. Display case didn't have one. So Heather was so sweet she decorated a freshly baked white cake with buttercream icing for me..5min. Wait.I even got fresh walleye in meat dept. My experience here eveytime is enjoyable..

Very helpful and very clean store. The gentleman in the fish department was very helpful on helping us find the fish that we needed .

Martins Grocery is significantly better. Better prices and much better produce. And for some sad reason, Giant Eagle keeps their fresh garlic in the refrigerator section, which causes it to quickly spoil.

Aside from prices being out of this world no fault of giant eagle’s I had a very pleasant experience with everybody we interacted with except for the cashier LH apparently she doesn’t like her job not so much as can I see your giant eagle card hello thank you goodbye I asked her to change her 20 into a 10 and two fives she waited on another customer and then came back to me after I spent $200 I would’ve rated in a five if not for her

In general, I like this store. BUT - and this is important - they almost NEVER have fresh iceberg lettuce!!!! I was there today, and every single head of lettuce was browning, and disgusting. HOW can a big store like this not have fresh lettuce???!!! It is sooooo irritating to me. If I'm lucky, sometimes the lettuce is fresh on Thursday for a short time. Every other day, forget it. Giant Eagle - do better!!!!

I took my husband in yesterday who is in a wheelchair. How are we supposed to shop without a basket???? I was told they did away with them during Covid. How do you expect handicapped people to shop. We ended up my husband pushing a small cart while I pushed him, what a mess and so difficult. Do better Giant Eagle!!!!

I love this place! If it weren't so expensive it would be my go-to for shopping every time but now it's great for select things Walmart doesn't sell.

This year’s Friday night fish fry offerings were soggy, and tasteless. After 2 bites each, it all went in the trash, fish and shrimp. Just garbage. It may well be the straw that broke the camel’s back. We’ve been staying due to the convenience of the fuel perks. Seriously considering Martins for regular groceries.

Went through a check out with an actual human. Very polite, efficient, surprised when I saw she was a "trainee" (Sue) as she was very professional and helpful.Found almost everything I needed. Prices are what they are right now... But overall good experience .. clean and organized aisles.

The people who work here are pretty friendly. If I'm using the self check out that has the belt (or whatever its called), someone usually will come over & help bag, which is nice. Our family likes their fried chicken, & their pistachio muffins, & their bagles. I've used their dry cleaning service in the past & it always worked good.

The Indiana, PA Giant Eagle is very customer driven. The employees are always willing to assist shoppers and the store is very neat and clean. The deli case is well stocked with delicious selections made with top quality ingredients. Shelves are always well stocked with ample variety. Their produce is always top quality. If you don't see what your looking for just ask an employee and they will do their best to help. Their bakery items are made fresh daily. Shopping at this store is a essential experience.

This review is specifically for the Indiana store. 3 times in a row, I asked for giant eagle pepper jack cheese. And all 3 times, they give me land o lakes hot pepper cheese. There's a big difference between the two. The deli workers need trained on the cheese names.

I always love Giant eagle but lately you cant get a cart to ride . There is never enough. I think you should shoe your handicap card to ride them. I'm 65 and can hardly ever get a cart to ride to help me shop. But I love the store. Veggies look so fresh and so does the fruit. I love the 5 for 19.99 to. Fresh meat and good deal for sure.

I don't have any complaints about the workers, but rather the other shoppers. I was in a line 7 people deep 2 days ago. There were so many older people around me complaining about not enough workers to check them out, while also complaining about not wanting to use a perfectly good self check out that was open and free and ready to be used. I was in line for a cashier, because a cashier is required any time you use a WIC card. I have a small child who is eligible for this program. These older folks look as ridiculous to me as someone who would stand and protest in a gas station line about no longer receiving full service at the gas pump. Older people are so entitled to "service" that the woman in front of me literally had the audacity to cause a ruckus around the store pulling employees from whatever they were doing so that she didn't have to scan her own stuff. I wonder if some of those shortstaffed underpaid folks were on break. PLEASE old people of Indiana, Pennsylvania LEARN to use self checkout. Scanners and bar codes are not new technology. Young people aren't working because we are "on our phones." Customers like YOU are the reason I'M not returning to work with the public any time soon. Either apply to work there or check yourself out. But certainly torturing all of the non living wage employees made you look like a fool. I give a huge round of applause for the professionalism maintained by all the workers despite some crazy older lady causing a huge scene. It is 2022. Hasn't she heard of staff shortages yet? It's time to get with reality.

I've had Mary check me out the last two times I've been in and she's extremely nice and very knowledgeable. Plus she knows how to pack groceries! The store is always clean and neat. Haven't had a bad experience here yet since I moved 3 years ago.

I like the beer and fresh meal selection. Good deals on meat sometimes. They lose a star for the horrendously loud self-checkout terminals. No obvious way to mute them. Seriously, fix that. I leave infuriated every time, I don't need that thing screaming at me to scan items and the price of everything I buy.

Really good customer centred store for high quality grocery and other food items. Huge variety of frozen food, dairy products and pharmacy items. Even sea food is here. Good assortment of flowers and bouquets available. Professional staff. Spacious store. Wonderful shopping experience.

Dont bother ordering curb side pick up here. By the stores own admission they only have one person doing the orders. They tried to blame it on "worker shortage" but no.. Im sorry, one person in a dept of a huge store is not worker shortage. This is a college town, you are telling me that they cannot hire more than 1 person at all for weekends? BS. Just go to Walmart, it may suck but for what I pay at Giant Eagle I expect them to have staff on hand for pick up. Who ever runs this place is a horrible manager. Do better. Dont blame worker shortage, its a straw man excuse and its tiring.

They always have fresh produce and other items I can't find at Walmart but they are pricy. I guess your paying for quality.
