This is probably the best Salvation Army store anywhere in the area. It usually has a good selection of items, and the prices are always good. They DO HAVE DRESSING ROOMS at this location, that is a big plus when buying clothes.

Very expensive, especially for a Salvation Army. Walmart brands can be $5+. There was once a Ralph Lauren top in here for $175. Average item price is around $7.99-$9.99 for tops, dresses, jeans and other clothing items are much higher.

This place is so over priced. Some of the items were priced more than you could purchase brand new. Goodwill has much better prices and is consistent! On this visit 12/5 at 4:20pm , I went to the back to ask a question about an item and the lady in the back treated me like I was a major inconvenience. The only nice thing about this store is the wonderful lady (clerk #8) ringing the register who was super sweet to everyone in her line!BTW management, you forgot to fix the time on your register receipts.

This is a very nice place to shop. I usually enjoy going here every couple of months to get some new wardrobe looks. Today when I went in to purchase my items I handed the cashier a $100 bill, she then scoffs at me and tells the other cashier that I'm going to wipe her drawer out if she takes my bill. Embarrassed I ask if I could use a card, she then proceeded to go on and on to the other cashier like I wasn't even there how they don't take big bills. I told her I understand but I wish they would have it posted near the register so people would know. She then rudely points near the door and says it's on there. I was just very embarrassed that she kept talking about me trying to use a big bill and stated if I would have purchased more she would have done it, but to talk like I wasn't even there and to go on and on was very embarrassing...

Thrift stores always have specials certain colors are always on sale but this place is a nice place because everything is so organized they also have a section with name brand clothes every variety of stuff clothing kitchen stove wise furniture bedding and towels shoes boots always find something here

Prices were much higher than I expected. Store was clean and organized, but $8 for a used donated book?? At Goodwill and other local thrift stores, books run about $1-2 with some places offering fill a bag for $5.

My first time visiting this Salvation Army was an overall good experience. I take my time while shopping and look through everything in the store I would potentially be interested in buying. The clothes selection for ladies had a lot of nice items. Some were worn out and not worth buying but most were in decent condition and could be purchased.My biggest complaint, and the reason I’m leaving 4 stars, is the insanely expensive pricing! I can’t even believe how expensive some things are. I’ve been thrifting for 25 years and never have seen prices so high! It’s honestly a shame because I would have bought so much more had it been marked cheaper. I look for good deals while thrifting and to me a used dress for $8 isnt a good deal!Overall I do like this location and definitely will be back sometime. I bought four shirts for $19 total!

Customer service is good, the prices are low on most things, the store is clean and seems well run. The shoes are a little more expensive than I would expect, but they have rotating sales on the clothes. Everyday a different colored price tag is on sale and I think you can get that information from their website. It is a large store, selling mostly clothes, so they tend to have a pretty extensive selection of them.

I have donate numerous times at your facility. I have had others take their donations there instead of goodwill. I have noticed that your prices are ridiculous! You are there to HELP ones in need. I have seen items with price tags and your price was actually more... HOW? And yes, that is 100% true!!! Sad & ridiculous on your part running a place that is supposedly there to help others. Go to other thrift stores (rte 286 has one & numerous goodwill stores everywhere) check out their system and at least copy it. Yours is terrible!

I like this store, Wednesday’s most items are half off. For the negative reviews about price, shop on Wednesday! Yes some things are priced high, but compared to other thrift stores this one is cleaner, more organized, and larger. They have more children’s clothes than other thrift stores that are closer to me, but over all I still prefer the shopping experience here.

This Salvation Army store is well organized. And the perks of it being colour coded helps with being able to find something in the colour (or colours) you are looking for. Their prices are incredible, and you would be surprised by the bargains you can find here. I definitely recommend this location, as it was clean and the racks were full of clothes to look at and to choose from.I enjoy thrift shopping, and since the recent close last year of a thrift store I used to go to, I will definitely be visiting this Salvation Army store more often as I enjoyed my experience 110%.

While this store is bright, organized and, large it is very expensive. For a second hand store with items that are donated to them, I cannot believe the prices that are on some of these things. I refuse to pay $10 and $12 for used children shoes. As well as household goods that are department store prices. The only thing that we did find were some summertime dresses that were reasonably priced for my children. However, then there were ones marked the same as department store prices such as Kohl's and Walmart. Unfortunately, this is not a place that we would return.

It's dark inside but the number one reason I cannot give them a higher rating is they are selling USED items at NEW RETAIL prices. Seriously, a pair of used men's shorts. $7.00?!? Really? You can buy them new from discount stores for that price. The also had first generation flat screens, beat to hell, not even a 32 inch screen and they want $99.99. So, if your money is tight, don't come here. There are 5 other thrift stores within 5 miles of here that are far more fair with their prices.

This was our first visit and I was very impressed with the store. The prices are very reasonable. All the merchandise is well organized and price tags easily read. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a bargain for clothes. I give them an A++

Awesome thrift store!! The store is super organized and clean looking. The only downside is some items can be a little pricey for being a second hand store and also they staple the price tags to the clothes so be careful when taking off the price tags. Other than those two things I would highly recommend this store!

I love the Salvation Army in North Huntingdon! There are some really good finds here; there are usually some upscale name brands to be found mixed in the racks of clothes. The furniture can be a little pricey for a thrift store. Wednesdays are the best day: clothes, shoes and books are half off.

What more can you say decent quality items at unheard of prices I have found many items still with the tags in and even designer labels that you can purchase for pennies on the dollar. The search is as rewarding as it can be frustrating at times but worth it when you find that special something for just a few dollars.

The prices are ridiculous here. I saw a shirt at Walmart for $5 and it was brand new. I saw the same shirt here used with a stain for $7.99. And the furniture and housewares are crazy. Whoever prices the stuff is nuts. Thrift stores are supposed to be for people with little money. They are taking advantage of the people.

The price you pay for items that were donated free are very high, kitchen tables and chairs are priced outrageously high, one example I saw was 199 dollars for the set and in fair condition. And you don't want to work here for 7.50 a hour. The work areas are very unsafe and not clean/sanitary. I know because I worked there.

On more than one occasion I’ve been treated in a condescending way at this location. I am an advid thrift shopper who spends a lot of money at thrift stores for my internet resell inventory. I used to frequent this location until one day out of the blue I was asked by one of the cashiers to present identification with my business debit. I was alarmed because she had seen me there at the cash register to check me out at least a dozen times and knew my face. I never had any card decline. Nor have I ever been asked to present ID at ANY THRIFT SHOP! I told her I fount it odd and she gave me a lame excuse. I chalked it up to racism. But I thought maybe I was reaching. That was months ago. Since then I’ve donated a ton of clothing and furnishings but not shopped. Today I ran in with my girl on a whim. I left my business card at home and had a couple other cc with me. One that is maxed out. I couldn’t remember which. So I told He young guy beforehand. It declined. He scoffed at me when I said here’s another... I have 5 more so one will go through. He said ROUND TWO sarcastically and ran the card. It went through. I signed and affixed my phone number as requested. And then he laid my card on the counter (didn’t hand it to me as I did him) and didn’t pass me my bag. I said my I take this? He shrugged indifferently and said “sure go ahead!”. Incredibly disrespectful condescending experience. The kid was like half my age? It’s a wonder that people fail to recognize how to conduct good business and leave their preferences for people or race aside even when working in a thrift store. If you are a colored person... keep it moving. I will from now on.

Sometimes find good stuff, otherwise not really. Some things, like a dog cage i almost bought, you'd be better off buying new for the price than used. They have a restroom though, if anyone was wondering. Solid 3 star experience

I keep giving this place another chance. Pointless. I had a couch to get rid of. It was in great condition. They would not take it because they were only four employees out front and whoever was working in back (the warehouse) leaves at 7. No wonder we are such a wasteful society. Thumbs down here........again :(
