Today marked the end of our dog's almost 16 year life. Dr Bennix and his staff carried out the grim task of putting our dog down with respect, dignity and professionalism. It was a very tough experience for my wife and I to witness, but we felt some comfort with the way it was carried out. Three years ago our dog was diagnosed with an enlarged heart, with life expectancy of 12-18 months, he outlived that by more than double. I feel that their experience and care made that possible. Thank you.

Dr Bendix and ALL staff are awesome. Knowledgeable, kind and very efficient. They know animals and understand each different animals personality. I have never felt rushed thru a visit like I my cats were just waiting for the bill. They take their time to address everything you want to discuss. If only people doctors took the same time life would be wonderful. Can't say enough GOOD about norwin veterinary center.

Dr Bendix and staff are the BEST. Explains everything and cares how the pet is doing. Very patient with our cat. Staff remembers all the pets names and all the pets I've seen come in, are never upset to be there!

Dr. Bendix nailed it. My cat wasnt eating, vomiting, and losing weight. After a thorough exam and prescription he diagnosed inflammatory digestive tract...or something like that. She is doing great now! Eating like a bear and gaining weight. Thank you Dr B and a great staff! I wouldn't take her anywhere else.

I love Dr Bendix and his staff.I have been coming to Dr Bendix for all of my pets, since 1992 (i.e., Duchess, Samantha, Dusty, Bianco, Java, Luke, & Clark, all of whom have gone to the Rainbow Bridge to date), now Manny & Chloe!!!Dr Bendix is a fantastic, compassionate, and wonderful veterinarian. THIS PLACE KILLED MY BABBIES! I took my dog and my kitten here. They both died a painful death after I took them here. My dog was old and got surgery after we got her the surgery she became paralyzed. My kitten got taken here died the night. The vet had given the cat a shot in his lungs and DROWNED HIM. MY POOR BABY DROWNED BY SOMEONE THAT SAID THEY WOULD HELP HIM! NOW I CAN NEVER CUDDLE THEM WHEN IM UPSET! AND WHEN WE SAID WE WANTED OUR MONEY FOR THE MEDICINE BACK THEY SAID THEY WOULD SUE US! If you love your fur baby do not take them here..

I only began taking my one cat to Norwin Veterinary Hospital in March of this year. I had adopted 2 stray cats and the female cat has had what seemed to me to be a chronic respiratory issue and I had taken her to various other veterinarians that for one reason or another I just wasn't satisfied. I had done some research and Norwin Veterinary Hospital seemed to be quoted as the best around. I have had my cat there 3 times since March and the first 2 times I had a lady vet, sorry I can't remember her name, who treated my cat and I was happy with her and both experiences. The third time I took Baby, my cat, we saw Dr. Bendix who is well known to many pet owners as he has been practicing many years. He told me that my Baby needed emergency surgery or she would not survive. This was on a Saturday and they kept Baby, operated Sunday and I picked her up Tuesday. Dr. Bendix treated her for Pyometra a condition female cats/dogs can acquire when they are not spayed and go into heat. Bacteria enters the uterus and pus and smelly discharge drain from the vagina. My Baby also had several cysts on the lining of her uterus which is also a characteristic of Pyometra. I had always realized the importance of spaying and I had attempted to spay her a few times only to cancel the appointment because of her being too sick with her respiratory issues. My cat is recovering quite comfortably and very nicely at home only because Dr. Bendix and his wonderful and highly competent staff gave her the best medical attention anyone could ever ask for. They really took such great care of my Baby and I will be forever indebted to them. I not only recommend Norwin Veterinary Hospital, I give them an A+++They are truly wonderful caring people.

Dr Bendix is awesome! Everyone in his practice was awesome! I had never been to this practice before and my cat needed some emergency dental care. From the receptionist answering the phone to Dr Bendix my interaction and experience with them was great.

I do not recommend Norwin Pet Hospital TO ANYONE, explanation below.I will try to keep this as brief as possible without leaving out key details.My 2 year old golden retriever (he was 1 at the time when he was seen) has been seen by them since I've had him. We had 9, maybe 10, office visit from March 2022 to September 2022 due to consistent limping in his right leg. Doctor Bendix was my golden's consistent Doctor almost every visit. He would throw meds time after time at him and he would improve, and once his medication cycle ended he would decline again; Doctor seemed to go through this pattern almost every time... After 6 months of a lot of wasted time, money, and most importantly my young and healthy dog SUFFERING, I decided to take him elsewhere.The Vets at St. Francis Pet Hospital identified the problem with ONE office visit - he's been walking, running, and playing around on a torn ACL in his right knee for 6+ months. INFURIATING knowing my dog has been suffering for months, causing irreversible damage to his young joints because a very experienced vet missed this 10 visits in a row.....Now, my golden is scheduled for ACL repair surgery this Friday (10/28/22) which is thousands of dollars (cost is not an issue to me at this point though.)Lastly, to make matters worse - after months of walking around on a bum knee and severe over-compensation with his left leg (due to the pain in his right leg), he is now limping on his left leg!!!! The doctors will be x-raying his left leg on Friday to see if there is any damage in his left knee now. INFURIATING!!!!!!!!!! I seriously wonder if my young 2 year old dog will ever be the same again, as far as mobility goes.It just makes me wonder if Dr. Bendix had caught this sooner, perhaps we could have avoided surgery in the right leg - and no doubt his left leg wouldn't have been affected either.Pros: Norwin Vet Hospital was pretty accommodating when I called to schedule an appointment and Dr. Bendix managed to fit us in a timely manner on short notice. Also, this vet office does have a voicemail where you can leave messages on the weekends, where most vets do not offer that simple feature.Another Con: I called on a Saturday to request all of my golden's records prior to switching vets; I called right back after hanging up as I wanted to mention one more thing and they appeared to unplug the phone. (I legit called 10x in a 20 min span and every call went straight to voicemail). I will not mention the Vet Tech's name who I spoke to, but it is extremely unprofessional, unethical, and just wrong for a healthcare facility to just unplug the phones on a weekend when there could be calls coming in.

I had to have my sweet dog put down today! Dr Davis and everyone was so wonderful, compassionate and loving. As hard as it was for me, they allowed me the time to hold him and say my goodbye. His passing was peaceful. I will go nowhere else to have my animals cared for. Thank you for your compassion and love.

Dr Bendix is an amazing veterinarian. He takes his time to thoroughly examine and made a diagnosis and treatment option. We have been going to him for years and he has never steered us wrong. He goes above and beyond, frequently staying late and working long hours to make sure his patients are taken care of. If you are looking for a quality vet to take care of your fur babies, Dr Bendix is your guy!

After today's experience - I was not happy - mind you I have been a customer for several years and have never had any issues.... And will only go back if I see our normal MD which is Bendix... The tech clipped 2... I repeat 2 of her toes too short which she then bled on the floor after my husky yelping in pain. I was told I was alot allowed in the room with my dog due to social distancing... when I was there not only but a FEW days prior with my other dog and there were no issues of this sort - I was with my other dog and the MD the entire time... now mind you my dog was in PAIN and obviously bleeding and I am just supposed to stand there and was told to "stay back" ... makes sense. Never again except for Dr. Bendix... he is the best and never had any issues.

Wonderful experience with this place. Our dog was sick suddenly and they got her in right away as soon as we called. They treated my chihuahua with care, were very friendly, and the price was great. You can tell they truly care about animals. Such an amazing staff. I would recommend to anyone.

The Veterinarians and Vet Techs at NVH care so much about the fur kids they treat. Although I couldn't get a quick appointment for my dog because NVH is down one Veterinarian, Dr. Bendix called me on a Sunday to find out what was going on with my dog's ears. I knew he couldn't prescribe antibiotics/ear drops over the phone for a possible ear infection because he doesn't know what type might she have. But, Dr. Bendix did prescribe an ear wash and cortisone cream, until her appointment. He put me at ease and explained everything in detail. I'm very thankful for Dr. Bendix and NVH.
