We have used Best Friends for 4 years for our Springer doodle. He loves it here! The staff is approachable and cares about the customer. Shyann has done a great job with communicating with us and keeping the place clean. Mudd is a good groomer and listens to our requests.

My son and I have been using Best Friends Pet Hotel for quite a few years now. We’ve always been very satisfied with their facilities and friendly staff. They have plenty of group play time. Our dogs come home happy and tired out. A tired dog is a happy dog! The web cams allow you to monitor your dog’s activity from anywhere and we enjoy occasionally checking on them throughout their stay at Best Friends! The staff are knowledgeable and seem to really enjoy taking care of our pets. We drive forty-five minutes in order to drop our dogs at a facility we know takes good care of them.

My dog Daisy had an amazing time there. Watched her on video and she had a spa day that included getting her nails painted. lol. The staff is always so nice and sweet.

My dog loves going here! He has so many friends and the stuff is so caring. Shyann is amazing and always makes sure everything is going well and gives me updates at the end of the day when I pick up my dog. Avery is also great, My dog loved her right away and she is great with him

We have been taking our pup Dakota since the beginning of January and haven’t had any issues. We boarded her for the first time last night without a problem. She came home a little tired but still ready to play. The staff has been very pleasant and accommodating. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the issues they’ve been having with the pet cams which is no reflection on the staff, it’s corporate. Started emailing once a week in January and things finally got fixed this week. I feel the staff really does care about the animals. It can’t be easy handling care, cleaning up and doing administrative work also.

The staff goes above and beyond to ensure our dog's stay is enjoyable every time. As a dog owner, there is no need to worry. The pet cams allow you to check in and if a phone call puts your mind at ease, the staff is available and ready to answer any and all questions. Your dog will even come home with a report card after a stay! They are attentive to pets with specific needs and even tolerate those who are more vocal like my dog lol.Shyann and Emily are an incredible management team. I encourage everyone to give BFPH HV a try if you have been thinking about daycare or boarding for your pet.

Love it and so did my dog. He was super happy the place was clean and did not smell bad. My dog is potty trained so that’s a plus of course. He’s also very well behaved and very friendly so we had no issues. I would recommend this place to all good doggie owners who need a great place for your doggy to stay when your gone :)

This location used to be the best. Now you can never get anyone on the phone to make an appointment. I loved Candace, she did a great job grooming my previous dog and I have been calling for over a year to try and get in with my new dog and never get a hold of anyone. Zero stars anymore.

I’m very upset with my recent experience at this location. We used to board our dog at this location 6-8 years ago and we were always happy with it. They provided updates with photos during the stay and were easy to contact. They are totally different now and all of it is bad.We recently boarded our new puppy and the experience was terrible. I tried many times to get through to book the stay by phone only to give up and use the website. When I checked in the lobby was filthy with hair and stains on the floor everywhere. They informed me they no longer send updates during stays (blamed Covid for the change as if that makes any sense whatsoever), they also acknowledged that it is nearly impossible to get through on the phone to them without offering any reason. I assume they are understaffed to save money.During our trip we called at least six times before we were able to get through to get an update on our puppy. Even when we did it was dismissiveWhen we picked up our puppy and she appeared gaunt like she wasn’t being feed and seemed lethargic.She was caked with what I can only assume was feces and urine from the smell of it. It was everywhere on her coat which was matted up and she smelled awful. Her teeth were also chipped with black marks on them which I can only assume was from chewing on a crate. I hate to think they are mistreating the animals in their care but I can only report what I saw when I picked up my puppy.I will never take an animal to Best Friends for anything ever again. I do not recommend sending your pet there!

Been here a few times and once they have my vaccination dates all wrong even after I handed it in. I feel like they are understaff and some lacks training. The front desk is sometime empty and there is no bell to ring for service. The cameras doesn't work, and if you are lucky 1 of the 3 will work for a bit. If its one of your selling point then please FIX IT. My dog smells like pee afterwards so after every boarding I will always give him a bath myself at home and check for injuries or fleas just in case. Easy to drive to back and forth from my home is pretty much the only reason I go here. I don't use them often but its a good backup for when I'm gone for a day or two. 4 stars if they fix the cameras.

Our cat, Mittens is not a people cat and is very fearful. They took good care of him despite him giving them a hard time (he was not happy at all). The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. And you can call to check in on your fur baby. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.

Dropped off wonderful half blind dog, Rigby. After I got home they called me to pick him up. Stay and Play across the street was way better. Look how sad he was he got kicked out.This is a serious review this actually happened. I had a flight less than 24 hours from this picture

Left my dog there for a couple days. When I picked him up I was charged for a 3rd day stay even though he'd only been there for not even 2 full days and was told he'd have to have been picked up prior to noon 30 minutes earlier. No biggie by itself. That's on me as I should have checked closer but did seem pretty odd to be so early. Then as I'm signing off the paperwork to pick him up he's brought out to the front room and upon seeing me he gets overexcited with the handler just hanging off his leash to me and walking off and now I have a dog all over me as I'm trying to sign the paperwork. Now he is fully house trained but he was filthy and covered in a stench of urine and excrement. That's when I realized that's likely why they push trying to get you to pay for a dog bath prior to pickup. His harness was placed on him upside down and was sort of strangling him. I checked inside the bag to make sure that all of his stuff was returned and saw that only half of his premeasured food was fed to him. I also saw his rope toy in the same orientation and corner of the odd pocket in the bag as where I left it. He is a chewer and that helps him relieve stress and it was very clearly never even taken out of the bag. I had actually asked if that was okay to bring with him and if they would take it out for him to have something for when he's in the kennel and they confirmed at booking and again when I dropped him off that that was fine. The front desk person was additionally extremely rude to me when I inquired about all of this. I gave him a bath as soon as we got home. It was just soul crushing.

We got a dog during Covid and we were worried about how Akela would be socialized during a pandemic. Luckily this place was 5 minutes away from our house. He gets the socialization he needs, learned good dog manners for friendly interactions, and the Joe and Breanna are great with him! Akela (our dog) loves going there and spending time with the humans and the dogs of course.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Never ever have I had anyone speak to us and throw papers at us and (say no we’re not taking your dog!) My dog is allergic to the distemper vaccine and I had a written note from my vet saying he is still immune but he cannot get the vaccine again. When I told the woman this she gave me so much attitude and said “Can’t board him.” Before letting me even call my vet. I booked my boarding a month ahead. I understand not boarding my dog without the vaccine but the attitude and rudeness I got from the woman was insufferable.Don’t send you pets here! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Had an awesome experience with leaving my dog here for a few days. Staff is great and they took good care of my boy. Emma the groomer did a wonderful job! My boy came home looking so handsome. I absolutely LOVE that they send you home with a report card of how your pet did while in their care. I will definitely be using their services again.

Love the fact that I can trust bringing my four-legges family member. They have the most incredible social activities for our kidz. Kelly, the manager is one-of-a-kind and gives us the feeling that our kidz are, indeed, our babies! Lucy won PROM QUEEN last year at their event. I always joke and say "she has a better social life than I do!"

Honestly this place is a front. yes the front office looks nice but compared to the actual facility where the dogs will be its awful. They leave super early and no one is there to watch over your dogs for over 12 hours. They lock the boarding dogs in rooms that are then in other rooms. They don’t even open the doors to put food and water in, instead they just have a little slot at the bottom that they slide it in through like they’re in prison. The place is not clean and they don’t do simple things like meds and wound care or wound disclosure. There is a family owned and operated boarding facility called Stay and Play Pet resort right across the street! Much better service, actual care for the dogs, going above and beyond and has at least one staff member 24/7 no matter what!
