I'd give them 5 stars but had a problem when I called for info. I was a client of Rose for a few years for my dogs and cats but the ride for the cats seemed to be a little to much on my cats so I had to find a vet closer to Mt.Top for them even though I would have rather stay with Rose. She checked my German Shepherd out when he was born.Since she worked on my Fyte I thought I could obtain some info on her before I went to the Dermatologist seeing as she treated his father Voton too. But Mary Ann who was always nice to me said that they weren't taking other patients and couldn't do anything for me. It was upsetting she wouldn't even let me explain. I texted a message so Rose might see it but still haven't heard anything back.I don't see what a 5 minute conversation on the phone has to do with being a new patient. Rose was my friend and I didn't expect to be treated in that way.I do t even know if Rose got the message I even called. Just seemed like they wanted to get rid of me, and from already having her for a vet that's something I didn't expect.She is a wonderful Veteranarian, but this threw me for a loop.They were always so polite.Just not this time!

Our Jazzmyn loved Dr. Roseanne. She would walk in and go right on the scale for the doctor. We've been with SWV for over 16 years, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They were great taking care of our baby on her last day. She looked so happy outside SWV, like she was ready

So the quality of care is good, when you can get it. I have been there a few times waiting 45-60 minutes for an appointment. After 60 minutes I leave (have done that). That being said, they have also given my pets unscheduled emergency service, so I understand. It's a balance.

Took my 4 month old puppy there last week when he was not eating or drinking and he was misdiagnosed. Had I listened to this vet my puppy would have died. Ended up at the emergency vet the same night and puppy had to have emergency surgery.

Clean, caring, professionalism. If you want your pets to have the best care, this is where you should bring them. I've been bringing my dogs here for many years and have no complaints.

My family has been going here for over 20 years. Rose Ann Crisci is a wonderful and caring vet, and her staff is amazing. We travel 2hrs to keep bringing our fur babies back.

Well I also heard good things about this vet. Unfortunately they are not taking on new clients'. So I will continue going down to Leihow Vet in Danville. They are absolutely amazing. It's just the distance. If anyone knows of another vet in area accepting new clients. Please post. Thank you. Stay safe all. And keep our fur babies even safer.

I called in December about becoming a new patient there and trying to get an appointment for my sick cat. I was told they do not accept new patients until January. It is January and I call with another sick cat ready to schedule and am told they don't accept new patients that have a problem. Id have to be scheduled 4-6 out for a routine exam before they will take my cat. Then they will not take my other cats without an appointment prior to a problem either. An office visit is 40$ per animal and I have multiple cats so that's not an option. I am very disappointed because I was not told this back in December when I first called and because it seems like this vet that just wants your money and doesnt truly care about the health of your pet. I will go to someone who actually cares about my pets and not my money even if that means driving an hour away!

Extremely positive experiences with Dr. Crisci and her staff. We have rescued many dogs over the years and sometimes that means they have issues... epilepsy/anxiety/allergies/elderly care/incontinence/joint issuesYou name it, and they've helped us deal with it. Even in those heartbreaking moments when we lost furry members of our family, this office handled everything effortlessly and provided the utmost quality of care and compassion.

Had three cats here in the past and always had good luck. I just rescued a tiny 4-5 week old kitten and they couldnt make me an appointment for 2 months? I could've cried! I realize Covid is making things difficult, but I really could've used a little guidance with something that small. I won't be back.
