Stopped here today to pick up some soil and a plant. There is a large selection of plants, vegetables, trees, shrubs, mulch, soil, and rocks. Prices are comparable to other nuserys in the area. There was staff walking around but not too talkative. Nice local place to stop and shop for your outdoor needs. There was amble parking and three different styles of carts right at the entrance. Multiple registers upon exiting.

I'm guessing since it's spring time they cut back on house plants. There wasn't much to choose from at all. Lots of pretty outdoor flowers, trees and shrubs though!

This place gave me white rich people vibes when I entered. The flowerpots are massively overpriced, and the "sales" are just retail minus maybe 10% of the price. If you are looking for something specific as far as trees and bushes for landscaping this is the place but I would never buy flowers at these prices from here (I used to work at a high end nursery.) The staff here is mostly teenagers with barely any experience in the horticulture industry.

I just love this place! They have so many different kinds of cactus & I love cactus. Their prices are reasonable and the friendly staff are willing to help you out or answer any questions you may have. And wait until you see their lawn ornaments which are not your normal average boring lawn ornaments and their unique and artsy planting pots!

We had the most lovely experience there last night. We were on the hunt for a late Christmas tree and pulled in not expecting much. Instead we were greeted by the loveliest staff, discovered their free Christmas tree giveaway, and shopped for some great decor. Everyone was so wonderful to interact with and on such a frigid evening too! Special shot out to the gentleman outside that helped us with the tree itself was a rockstar!!!

Extremely disappointed with Pat Bauman. For someone who works the nursery every single day you would think he knows his products like the back of his hand. Emailed a very clear picture of a stone I was looking for but didn’t know the name of it. He responded with the name of the stone and assured me it was available in bulk scoops. I went there today and upon looking at the stone he said it was I immediately could tell it was the wrong stone. The stone I sent him a picture of was only available in bags. I drove here from Lebanon and completely wasted my time. I would advise next time to just have a customer or contractor come in with a sample.

Nice store alot of inventory for a smaller store. Staff can be very knowledgeable. Close and very convenient for me. Decent selection of fish pond items and plants. And reasonable prices I would give them 4.6 stars. Very well managed great load and go area also for tanbark,topsoil ect.

I'M IN LOVE. They were having a sale. 20% off of most of the perennials, and that was just what I was looking for. GORGEOUS SELECTION. Very friendly, extremely helpful staff who met every need. They answered every question without looking at me like I had two heads. I say that cuz some of my questions were pretty dumb, but they didn't mind. I've been back twice & will DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK AGAIN.

They let me pick up some top soil with my own truck during their closure. That was nice. Unfortunately, they were near the end/bottom of the pile and all I got was clay all stuck together. Three scoops. Win some lose some. Great store, nice people...will continue to do business there.

You apologized and listened completely to my concern and used this concern to better serve customers in the future. Great customer service and I will definitely be shopping again at SKH Hummelstown.

This is a nice garden supply store. The staff is always very helpful and are willing to help you with whatever you might need. Stauffers has trees, flowers, mulch, and really anything and everything you might need to make your garden or next landscaping project a success. At Christmas time, they have Christmas trees that are pretty good quality and they also sell ornaments.

We came across this on the way to Hershey Park yesterday. Stopped today. They have great fresh produce. Very nice plants, perennials, annuals, bushes, and trees at good prices. Nice landscaping material and the store itself was pretty cool.

What a great selection of plants, trees and anything yard related. Incredible selection of Christmas trees and winter flowers arrangements. The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable about all of the products they sell.

They have a wide selection of plants. The plants are hardy. They also have all kinds of garden items. Prices are a little more than lumber store but worth it for the wide selection of plants, and ones that survive my non-green thumb.

I love walking around this store, they're great if you need to know a garden issue,making bows n hvin really nice things n the fruit stand .Plus they are close by , what I don't like is the prices I feel are a bit high!

Very rare that I have a positive experience there. Shop the sales to get normal prices otherwise you are over paying. I have had good luck with some staff in the nursery and garden area. However, the cashiers' rude manner always leave me wondering why I come back.

They have the best flowers and plants around here. They have very friendly people who are always happy to answer your questions or get someone who can. Also if you need help to load your stuff they are right there to help.

Marilyn and Pat are extremely helpful and accommodating as well as knowledgeable. Other staff members we have encountered have also been pleasant and cheery. We own a landscaping business and always refer people to SKH for their DIY home projects and a wide variety of products to get them done. While we've always gotten good customer service...we are particularly partial to Marilyn and Pat and Can't say enough. They are beyond helpful.

Last year I bought many many bags of the bagged mulch from Stauffer's and was pleased. No problems with weeds etc. So, this year to save a bit of money, I chose to purchase four scoops of mulch and have it delivered. While I saved money. I most definitely haven't save time. I am constantly pulling weeds after weeds after weeds..... Not impressed!!!! I will definitly be looking elsewhere next year for better quality of mulch.
