So thankful for this place for taking a look at my chicken today. Despite them not have a veterinarian that specializes in avian species, they gave us great recommendations with the collaboration of other veterinarian connections. They were able to accommodate a same day appointment to help get my chick some antibiotics before all of the compounding pharmacies closed for the weekend. Can’t say thank you enough! 🐓

I was with this vet for thirty years due to location and ease of getting appointments. Today, after six dogs and dozen of visits I was fired as a client. I was told my 18 month old GSD was considered aggressive. My dog is very sweet but very afraid of the vet. He would never bite a soul. During my second visit with the vet I was told be had to be sedated for all future visits. The young vet would not even come near my dog to examine even though the dog wore a muzzle. The dog was shaking and drooling. I was holding him. This practice is now corporate owned and the love is long gone. Why be a vet if animals intimidate?

Sadly I had a great experience with this hospital back in 2013 when I adopted my dog here. But as of a week ago, my opinion completely changed. My mom brought her cat (gypsy) to this hospital, they gave her fluids and x-rays, $600 later. They gave us no medicine or follow up procedures. Good thing my mom was not satisfied with this response and gained a 2nd opinion. The new vat hospital actually treat the cats symptom's and 3 days later, the cat seemed to bounce back. Now yes were still need to follow up with her new doctors for the next steps are. Its just a shame that they only looked at the cat and didn't treat the actual problems at hand. If we waiting for the results to come back from her blood work, no clue if the cat would be alive today or not. - Very Disappointing

So we actually rescued our dog from here (through wags) 11 years ago but had never been here for veterinary services. Today was our first visit (in an embarrassingly long time--life and COVID happened and a million other things I'm not proud of) and they were literally amazing. Taylor was so sweet and helpful. Dr. Riddle made me laugh and was super down to earth and knowledgeable. The place was clean and everyone kind. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!

My daughter and husband went over with her bunny and he wasn’t doing good. We didn’t have an appointment. I told them to take the bunny over because they were still open. They gave him oxygen and made her an appointment for tomorrow because the vet that knows bunnies would be in tomorrow. Unfortunately her bunny got worse and we knew he wasn’t going to make it through the night. They took him back to have him put down but he passed on the way back there. I was on the phone with her and the vet confirmed it. I just want to say thank you for the workers there tonight. They were wonderful with my daughter. I couldn’t be there with her but I heard the compassion they had toward her while I was on the phone with her. Thank you for everything that you did tonight for her and her bunny.

The best place for your pets!! 10/10! Everyone from the lovely people at the desk, to the techs and the vets themselves, everyone is so kind and patient and helpful. We moved out of state but we still come back here for vet care because I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. My dog comes in to the vet a little anxious every time, but she always leaves with a wagging tail. Thank you!

I am sad to say now that Dr. DiMauro has retired, we won’t be staying with them after 30 years of care. Dr. D took amazing care of our bulldogs over the years, always made room in his schedule for a “sick visit” when needed, did 5 surgeries with skill, gave such great advice and care of this special breed—all you ever want with a vet. Now, no same day visits or even within a week for an injury, just rude comments when one was requested, no suggestions for what to do until they can get us in. Such a disappointment and sad that this once amazing vet has changed so abruptly. Sad to have to search for a new vet because the staff is horrible.

My family has been with Horsham vet for over 20 years. In that time, they’ve helped us take care of two dogs and two cats. With Horsham Vet’s help, we have navigated feline diabetes, canine cancer, routine care, grooming, boarding, and euthanasia. They have also treated our pets with empathy and kindness. The doctors have gone above and beyond to ensure that our pets are healthy and safe, that our decisions are well informed, and that our wallets are considered. We are grateful for how Horsham has treated our furry family members and highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best in animal care.

I've been using Horsham Vet since 1997 when they saved my Chilipepper's life from an infection she got being spayed at another vet. Dr. Tranchida knows my cats and they tolerate her well. The waiting room is large but doesn't have separate sections for cats and dogs. The facility is clean. The staff are professional. Totally worth the 20 minute drive.

I have been going to Horsham Vet since August 2020. I generally always had a good experience here up until the other day. A staff member at the front desk was very rude and short with me when i asked about my dog. The wait was very long so I left and then came back, waited another half hour for my dog. He was getting surgery and drop off was at 8am. They didn’t take him into surgery until 1pm, meaning he was most likely stuck in a crate all those hours. They failed to tell me until after the fact that he was the last animal to go into surgery. The techs and vets were very nice but when you’re already stressed about your animal, the last thing you want to deal with is a rude front desk person talking down to you when you ask for an update. I most likely will be leaving Horsham Vet and looking elsewhere for a new vet. Do better is all I can say. Have compassion and better bedside manner.

Great place. Very caring. We adopted our pup from Wags Rescue and kept her vet services here (since she was already being seen by Horsham Vet). The staff is always kind and polite. I took one star away on account of whenever I go to an appointment, I always wait at least 20 minutes + to be seen. While this isn’t a deal breaker, it does mean I need to allot more time to appointments.

I've never had a bad experience here and today really warmed my heart. I brought my 1 year old dog here for his yearly checkup, and he is very timid because of his past. Dr Amie Balandovich and Collin both were so compassionate and gentle with him, and even took the time to give me tips on how to help at home, without me ever asking. Collin has been so sweet and comfortable every time I've been in, and although this is my first time meeting Amie, it goes to show how caring they all are here.

My 18-year-old cat started shaking. I was very concerned. I called Horsham vet and was hoping to have her seen. My cat is 18 and has been a patient there for years. They explained that they don’t handle emergencies and I would have to take her to an emergency vet. I couldn’t understand that because they were open for another two hours and they are a veterinary hospital.I reached out to another veterinarian , which was closing in 25 minutes. They explained if I could get there before closing they would check her out. They ran a full series of bloodwork, everything came back ok.Not sure exactly what happened that day, but she is doing well. When I called to have her records transferred to the other veterinarian that actually cares for my cat, they didn’t even seem interested of why I was doing so.I must say for a veterinarian they are very uncaring and the ladies at that front desk are not smiling when they’re on the phone. They sound miserable and callous. Maybe some compassion and Phone etiquette would be an order at this practice.Just remember if you’re reading this if your pet has an emergency of any kind, they’re going to most likely tell you to go to a veterinary hospital, like they did with my pet. It’s amazing when I took my pet for a simple yearly check up for vaccinations they want $400 to do bloodwork when she’s doing fine. When you actually need diagnostic testing and blood work due to an emergency , they push you aside. But when you don’t need it, they’re there for you.

I absolutely love Horsham Vet! My childhood dog went here for his vet visits, and now that I'm an adult with two cats of my own, so do both of them. The staff members are all always polite, friendly and kind. The prices are about the same as any other vet. They do very thorough examinations and send out reminders when your pets are due for exams and/or vaccines/boosters. One of my cats gets extremely anxious (the one that was seen there today) when she leaves the house. They are both indoor-only. The vet tech removed all of the screws from her cat carrier because she was more comfortable laying in it than coming out. He replaced all of them at the end of the visit. They go above and beyond! I've never had a bad experience with them and will continue to bring my pets here.

The vet techs were nice, the vets adequate but the overall experience with the front desk staff was not good. I’ve found them to not be helpful or nice. Typically they were short and a little rude. I found interaction/scheduling to be less than satisfying. Ultimately we decided to go elsewhere and when I called for my dog’s records the person answering said “want us to go ahead and clear you out?” No emotion, not asking why I was considering leaving etc. The interaction just emphasized why we want to go elsewhere.

Highly recommend this practice. I've been taking my pets here for Years. Very thorough, understanding, compassionate care. The doctors are top notch as well as the technicians. Fantastic with scheduling appointments as needed. I've taken my new baby kittens and puppy to HVH since they came to me and took them there for their last visit when it was time to say Goodbye. We'll be adding a new furbaby puppy to our family soon and we'll be right back there!

Went there for a second opinion. Knowledgable and caring staff. Also appreciated that they gave choices for practices to do surgery outside their own.

Horsham Veterinary Hospital is family. We have been taking out dogs Tootsie and Max to them for over 16yrs, boarded as well when we took vacations. Unfortunately we had to put both Tootsie and Max to sleep within a month of each other. The team was not just empathetic, but they cried with us. They treat your furry babies with the same love and care they would treat their own.

Common courtesy would go a long way!I had an appointment this past Friday 4/8 which was a rescheduled appointment from January because in January owners were not allowed in the office for appointments and one of my dogs has anxiety and wasn’t able to be seen without me there. I had an appointment for 1:30 and 1:45 for each of my dogs respectively. Still people are not allowed into the office until the vet tech brings you in but atleast you can accompany the dog for the visit. They ask that you call upon arrival. My husband and I both called and could not get through to anyone. My husband called again and finally got through and was put on hold. In the meantime a tech did finally come to the door and I let her know I had a 1:30 appointment it was now 1:40. My husband also finally got through and was told they would call us back. We stood in the parking for 45 minutes until we finally left. The office did not call us until 2:30. They said IF they could take us would we want to come back. No I will not come back. I likely won’t ever return. As in my title, common courtesy goes a long way. All that was needed was some communication and a rescheduled appointment. This was a disgrace.

They were kind and caring to my 144 lb Newfoundland. They explained everything and didn't try to upset products. I recommend this location, my dog didn't experience any anxiety and was comfortable the entire visit🙂

Dr. Garthwaite is amazing. I always ask for him first but, if he's not available, there are about 4 other vets who have taken care of my Springer spaniel. Plus, they send me reminders of when shots etc are due. A very clean place.

I've been taking my pets here since 2012, but recently have been appalled by the level of service and lack of professionalism I've experienced. The front desk staff is awful—they are rude, unpleasant, and incredibly unhelpful. The vets are OK, but no one takes the time to get to know your pet or really seem to care about anything other than how much they are billing you for. Our golden passed away last month, and we haven't heard a peep let alone any messages of condolences, and we keep getting email reminders to bring him in for his annual checkup. We will be moving our cat to another vet ASAP. Do not waste your time or money here.

This review is long overdue but well needed. I had made Horsham Vet my vet because at the time I did not drive & it was convenient as I lived in Horsham. I had been told by a handful of friends to avoid them & still decided to give them a try. My only in-person appointment was decent. I honestly believe the veterinarian's/assistants truly care & have the knowledge needed to care for animals because I saw in person how they handled my stressed animal. However thats where the positive hospitality/service ends. Covid happened & shortly thereafter I needed to get my ESA in because my apartment complex was riddled with fleas. She had been taking frontline at the time of infection. After a month I decided since it didn't keep them off in the first place that a change in flea treatment was necessary. As per vet friends, I was told that it can take up to 3 months to take full effect. 3 months past & it only seemed to be getting worse. I contacted Horsham Vet at the end of the 3 month mark on the new flea treatment & was told that since my cat hadn't been in within the year of her annual checkup that they would have to have an annual checkup before I could get an medical flea treatment. I asked them how this was fair, as she was in need of the treatment asap & I wouldn't have any problems bringing her in for that annual checkup but I was told it was per their practice & no flea treatment would be ordered until they saw her. I was then told I would have to wait weeks just to bring her in for this checkup & I didn't think this was at ALL healthy practice/proper. I asked the women who answered what other options I had. I had fully explained the situation including that she had gotten the fleas while on treatment, that I changed brands & only saw slight improvement. I knew it could take up to 3 months but I had waited that out & she put me on hold to consult a veterinarian. After a minute or so she returned & told me to "change brands again until I found something that worked" as this was the veterinarian's recommendation. I immediately saw the red flag, hung up & called Ark. The women there gave me precise direction & after running by her what I was told, she agreed that this didn't seem to be properly handled. Within the month my cats health improved & by month 1.5 she was 100% back to normal(on the newest treatment). I find it super disturbing that Horsham Vet handled this situation in the way they did. My ESA is more than just a companion, she helps with my mental well-being & is more than just family. Will never take any animals back to this practice & will continue with my current veterinarian. Please, read all reviews online before choosing where to take your animals. Had I done that in the first place I don't think I would have gone thru the anguish I did & my ESA would have been cared for 100% properly.
