I had a great experience with Eby's Martindale recently. On short notice, I needed catering help for a funeral service. Even though the event was only days away and during the holiday crush, Jodie was pleasant, professional and very helpful and found a way to fit it in their already full schedule. She put together a great menu, provided set-up and tear-down and ensured all the details were covered. The food was perfect - the amount, quality and cost. Thanks so much, pleasant experience with the store and Jodie.

I will walk down to this store to pick up a few items if I forget something at another grocery store. However, this will no longer happen. My husband went to pick up sponges, came home and decided to go back to pick up fried chicken for dinner. He came home empty handed, and EXTREMELY disappointed in how he was treated. The lady behind the counter was so rude- she gave him such an attitude, like he was bothering her when asking about the chicken. She told him there was no chicken for sale, everything was reserved except for 1 chicken patty. And the tone in which she talked to him was completely disrespectful. If said chicken was already spoken for, then put up a sign. Giving customers an attitude and making them feel like they did something wrong…that's just not acceptable, especially in a customer service environment. So we will no longer be shopping here and if you decide to- be aware that some of the staff will make you feel like you are in the wrong for asking a question or wanting to order something from the deli.

A nice little store to pick up groceries. They are a bit pricey and I wouldn’t do my weekly grocery shopping here.

Updated review. The last one I did I didn’t give a good review. But after having better experiences I’m giving a positive review. Had there chicken Pattie’s fir the first time. Delicious!!! Employees are very friendly. They make you feel like family.

I like it for when you need something quick and I like my lunchmeat from there .. But today I spoke with the owner about one person who works in the delie dept. whom is never pleasant what so ever and is just down right miserable with the customers . The owner replied that if I can find someone for him to replace her then he will.. I even told him she sliced my cheese one time along with the plastic wrapper, so I had plastic sliced up in my cheese..which I returned of course..But he didn't offer any apology. So hopefully they can find more help.

It's great having a small local store right down the street for emergencies... but honestly that's really what it's best for. Best for when you forgot something from the other grocery store and want to run out real quick cause you don't feel like driving 20 minutes. They do, at times, have good sales on meat and other items, but all in all their prices are not competitive. Totally understandable since its small and located in a small town away from the major retailers. My biggest complaint is that produce is limited, and as of late, not good. Everything that I've purchased on my last 3 or 4 trips hasn't been good. Looks okay on the outside, but once you dig in you see that they are not. Out of an entire 5 lb bag of potatoes, only 2 didn't weren't brown through the middle. $1.99 per apple, both of which I had to throw away.l cause they too were brown in the middle.

This is a nice little grocery store. The people were very friendly and helpful. I only went in for ice, you have to walk through the store to get to it, but I did browse a little. The prices seemed good and cheap the only thing I noticed was that the red meat didn't look to good. It was very dark and the fatty parts looked brown so I wouldn't have gotten any of the meat and I would check the dates on other products.

Recently found this friendly store. It's like a full grocery store squished into a more convenience store size. The prices on many things are convenience store prices but they can have some good deals as well, on things like meat. The staff is friendly and it's nice to shop/support at a local business.

Nice quaint mom and pop store. Prices are a bit on the steep side, but if you are in a rush or just need some basic things and don't want to travel 15 or 20 minutes to a big chain store, this us the place to stop. Also, as a sidenote, the entrance is located on the back side of the laundromat, and there is water dispensary for gallons and five gallon bottles. The dispenser only doles out one gallon at a time.

Friendly and convenient but when I see meat on sale, I still expect it to be relatively fresh. The first time the chicken I bought was smelling horrible it was so far gone, causing me to inconveniently have to drive all the way back to the store as I was in the middle of making soup. Today I bought chops on sale and they were slimy when I went to unwrap. At least they weren't smelling yet, but.....Get a clue, butchers. Please THROW IT OUT when it is going bad, don't try to sell it at a discount. Other than the meat department I have always been happy with this store, it's prices and it's employees.

Everything is way over priced. Salads and hoagies are great but other than that I avoid shopping here even though it's the closest grocery store. Way too expensive!!

Iced pumpkin spice cookies don't have much of a pumpkin flavor and the icing is too thick in texture and too sweet, could do without the syrup on top as well Monster cookies are delicious 😋

Ran down to pick up a few things never really had any problems with the store except today while waiting at the deli counter for my order I noticed mold spots on cheese. So I said something to the deli person and she said where don’t really see it. So another employee pointed out the big obvious green mold. The first employee said just put it aside I’ll take care of it. So does this mean she will just cut it off and place back in display??? Pretty sad if you ask me they were not even embarrassed by it or really didn’t seem to care!!!

Prices are higher than market rate, sometimes a good chunk higher, customer service is good majority of time. Their line of side dish deli items ( Marconi, potato salad etc) is less than desirable in regards for taste and especially for price considering your paying winter garden and Ron’s prices

Ebay's in Honey Brook is a very clean neat and organized store.The shelves are always stocked. The produce always looks so fresh and well stocked. The girls upfront at the registers are always so happy and they are very pleasant to talk with.

Very reasonable rates and had most of everything i needed. They do lack somewhat in the fresh vegetables and fruits section but hopefully will see more varieties in the future. Overall good experience

Well if you like expired meat or expired anything this is the place to go bought chicken and it looked normal on the top but when you open the package and flip it over it's green who in the hell wants to eat green meat and this has happened two times to me three times to my neighbor do not ever eat your meat out of there unless you have a very high immune system and the prices are outrageous they know most people in that area don't have a car so it's a toss-up drive 50 miles one way to Walmart and 50 miles the other way the Giant so they got you and they know it

Nice, homestyle, local store. Huge improvement from last owners..a little pricy for frozen foods, but small selection of boutique foods..great fried chicken 🍗!..
