Always more people standing around than working up front. The worst part about this store is trying to check out. They would rather watch one person work and struggle because of lack of training than to help. It should also be noted that it seems only people with bad attitudes get hired here. Be careful about produce and potatoes, as they turn out to be bad or rotten more often than not.

Have been driving here specifically to buy their hot sausage they make in- store for years, as do several other people. Was told by meat department staff that management put a stop to making it. They had some weird off brand that was unheard of, frozen, and made out of state. Won't be going out of my way again to stop here, prices on everything else are noticeably higher than other stores

I like ideal but really have to watch about over charged on sale items . When tea is on sale there's one older lady who will say only certain kinds are on sale . I told her the ad said assorted kinds and there isn't a sign saying that . Then she said boss man said that . She would give it to me . I said ur giving any thing . The ad said assorted that's what I am going by. If I don't get the tea u can have everything in the buggy . Where is Lori at now

Employees need to be taught good customer service! They need to take down old sale ads, they also need to know when the ad is left up you have to give the customer that price 2 for 4 means 2 for 4! Next time I will leave everything I have in the cart and walk out! Cottage Cheese Ad on 2/18/2023!!

Store is under new management and wow what a difference! Clean, groceries are kept up to date, otherwise reduced down. They really have great sales in the meat department.

This place is not very clean, always has a horrible smell an u have to check the expiration date on everything u purchase b cuz I couldn't even tell u how many things I have bought or things I have seen that have been expired for a long time an other things that r covered in mold sitting on the shelves. They seldom check for that kinda stuff apparently. many things I have bought from the freezer that were expired for a year or longer. So check carefully if u must go there. Only positive thing is the staff have always been pleasant towards the customers.

I have never had a problem in that store until they hired a woman who supposedly used to live in New York what a piece of work she is she is the rudest most obnoxious woman I have ever laid eyes on. On Sunday, February 20, 2022 I placed an order for chicken to be picked up on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 for a funeral the pick up time is 10 AM… I had also ordered two dozen of rolls to go along with the chicken whenever I went to pick it up of course it wasn’t done and when the gentleman who was working the front said to her is the chicken done she said we don’t have any chicken he said yes he said the chickens in the freezer when she brought it out I said oops is that done she said no I said I don’t want it the owner of the store heard me complain and came over and asked me if they could make it and bring it to the funeral home unfortunately that’s not where I was going I was going someplace else… first time this has ever happened I’m thinking that I’m going to look at around another ideal if she’s gonna be there!!!The owner was very very nice about the situation however she’s not good for his business😡

The new store manager is amazing , this store did a complete 360 , the selection is a lot better and everything is priced and if you don't see it there on the shelf let someone know and it'll be there, I am a huge fan of cooking on the Blackstone and using bacon-up (bacon grease) is the best thing ever and you always had to go to Walmart to get it and now don't bc they now sell it and even cheaper . The meat department is also allot better and also cheaper than Walmart and they also season there own meats , the chicken fajita seasoned chicken is amazing and they also have steak seasoned fajitas and other seasoned meats. Everyone that stopped shopping there bc of the old store manager just go back and shop again and see for your self.

May 31 is the last day I will go to this store. I asked e different employees about products and was told " I have no idea" by said employees. Was treated like my time and money were not worth their time. I had a problem with the weekly ad. It was the first day of the ad and about half the items in the ad were not available. When I asked I was told it happens. Told a white haired lady the ad was no correct and she just told me :Oh well". Then had problem with their ATM. I know they do not take American Express but my husband went to get 60 dollars out of their ATM and got 20. The one Manager on duty, when asked his name and about the shortage of our money IGNORED us. The only reason this was fixed was that my husband started taking his {the white haired very rude on duty manager} picture with his cell phone. If this is the way they want to do business then I think they should be boycotted, closed or hire staff that gives a damn, and stops treating customers like they owe the employees owe them something.It will be a lone time until I return there IF EVER.Mark Pittman

I enjoy shopping at this neighborhood grocer.They have a pretty good selection of all things and I have always liked their choices of meat . I wish more people would appreciate the small business owner ...you may pay a few more bucks on your overall bill, but in the long run, you being over charged for "fuel perks" is not really deal you think your getting.

Great place. Actually have butchers. Can get 2" thick tbones if you want. Call in advance they will have it ready for you. Good meat, unbelievable prices. Nice deli. Baked goods. Friendly staff. I Love this place

I typically shop at Wal-Mart. But on this day I decided to run to the local grocery store. Biggest mistake. I don't understand how they can get away with prices marked up so much higher then ANY other grocery store I've ever been to. They should be ashamed. I will not be shopping there again.

Their meat dept. is great. They always have good tasting and tender meat. The prices can't be beat. Deli is always fresh. Love this store. Nice and helpful people work there.

This store is average at best, it comes in handy if you need one item, and the milk prices are better vs average. But they only have 1-2 registers open at a time, plan to spend 10 minutes for 1 item. Other wise take the time to run up to Indiana, you won't be losing any time or money.

Good place for locals to pick up a few quick items. Does not compare however to the larger chains in Indiana. Some constructive suggestions would be some expansion, overhaul the parking lot and add a few additional items seen in larger stores, not to mention more professional smiles and greetings from all staff. Having said that however, I could not imagine Homer City without this marketplace!

I wish the gobs were more traditional, not filled with whipped cream. The cake is perfectly moist, but it's a bit like a slice of cake inverted.Would love to buy traditional banana gobs.

I mean, its a small town grocery store. It's ok if you need milk or bread. My last visit was just looking for contact lens solution and they had almost none. I had to settle for a brand that you rub to clean and then store them in a flat case.

I shop here for meat and chicken. It tastes great. They have a great produce section. Some grocery items are priced a bit higher than Walmart. But it is expected being a small town grocery store.
