Place should be closed. The one agent in there has no communication skills and is very ignorant. I shopped there forever. I’m the one though to just change stores if customer service stinks. Not going back!Also the lady has advised with attitude to my fiancée in the past that self scan is closed, because people are steeling. Let me be honest! My fience and I are middle class. We both work 50-60 hours a week in hard labor! To judge theft on middle class hard working law abiding citizens is discrimination.She needs cooperate to teach her better cooping skills and diversity. She was wrong. My fience grandfather is dieing in the hospital and the last thing I needed from her is attitude. She needs better skills or she needs a new job if she’s not happy! She’s soooo rude. It’s the attendant with bangs cut like a bull shape. The other lady in there is so kind. She’s awesome and always has great experiences with her. I hope she’s the manager.And please reviewers look at the response by manager and owners. There are none to negative feedback and why this place should be demolished.

This store has gone down hill at top speed,should be closed down and just start over the store is impossible to shop in,filthy,piles and I mean piles of stuff filling every bit of space open packages, and the manager was being extremely rude to a older woman who asked for her assistance, to the point of telling her if she was not satisfied with the store tell her friends to put in applications? Maybe she is why no one stay at that store.

They’re closed 20 minutes before the posted time and yeah it’s been a mess every time I’ve been there. I just recently moved to the area and I’ve been to many dollar general stores across the country and it’s by far the worst store I’ve ever seen. I think they should just fire everyone and start fresh with people who actually care and want to work because the staff are just about as useless as can be and obviously don’t have any sense of what working. I’d have added pictures too because just standing at the door I could see carts and things that were sitting there from weeks ago. Very disappointing that they’re the closest store and they don’t have anyone who can do their job. I’d give less stars if it were possible.

This store is a joke, it is also a complete mess. I applied many times saying that I could help and that I can take care of stocking and cleaning everything and they never took my application, they never called. I have a job, it would only be extra money and above all the intention was to organize because there is not even space to walk and I think that this business is necessary for many people who live near it. It is very sad. I have been seeing this store closed for 4 days and it does not have any paper that lets customers know why or when it will open again.

I would not go into this store unless I needed something in an emergency. I felt like I was going to get robbed in the parking lot. Nothing in the store was in it's place. The management needs to step up.

Our yellow store is terrible, it used to be so great but this past year it’s lost all of its workers. I used to be able to run to this store anytime from 8am-10pm sure the lines were always crazy but it was always open and full of goodies. The past four months it maybe 3pm before they even open for the day. They just tape a trashy written piece of paper that says closed to the doors. The isles are never clear anymore to walk through either. Products are not put away or stocked anymore. Just carts full of items that you can’t push to walk by in every other isle.

This store is not always open when they should be, actually they are closed every time I've tried to go recently. Secondly there is zero organization. Entire isles are blocked off by skids that haven't been unpacked and put on the shelves. The items that are on the shelves are a complete mess. I have stopped shopping here.

this store is a complete joke nowit's closed whenever they want it closed at this point, today it's closed until noon, what?the worst part is there's just a giant stuffed teddy bear outside with a sign on it blocking the doors, nothing else, so you waste your timethis has happened several times to me in the last month where I show up and it's just not open when it should be, not sure if it's staff or such but change your hours and don't make people guessthe inside isn't even clean or tidy either, it's like they close it just to close it, the shelves are never stocked and there's boxes and carts everywhere with more boxes on them, even empty ones strewn all over the placeplease get it together because it was not like this a year ago..

This store has gone down hill so fast.cluttered is a understatement, junk piled everywhere. And even the outside is a mess.charcole sitting in the rain all day filthy store and the every isle is a tripping hazzard. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

Half of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the other half are the exact opposite. The aisles are always crowded with carts and boxes making it difficult to get through with a cart if you can at all. I will say it is very convenient being the only store in Highspire and I am there at least once a week.

I have a complaint about this store! I paid for 4 bottles of sodas and either left the bagup where the bags spin around or in my cart and never picked them up. I went back with my receipt and they said they weren't there. They didn't give me my sodas! Isn't the customer always right?They may have been lying to me!!!!

If i could I would give no stars. They are always short staffed and close the store early. Today is the 3rd time I have caught them closing early and had customers pulling up and getting out the car while they are still in the store. FIRST I asked why they were closed today at 9:45 pm? The young lady with black hair said because they can and shrugged her shoulders. I then called the store and a young man answered and said the computers were down. I said there customers with cash and no sign on door about issues. I told him what the young lady said and he then said the registers are counted down. Hmmm. Why wouldn't that have been your first lie. I THOUGHT THEY WERE DOING BETTER due to one day I walked into a clean store. Obviously their employees customer service still sucks and they still mope around and never want to stay until closing. I guess they don't care about bottom line and make enough money. I never write reviews so this says a lot.

Great prices! I buy my Sheba cat food here sometimes for about half of what it is everywhere else. They have cute sweatpants or yoga pants and fabulous prices on socks! I bought Sketchers socks that cost $17.00 in the mall for $3.50! (I bought two packs and they were 7 pr. to a pack.)New stuff all the time. Pleasant staff as long as you follow social distancing. Clean, too.

Might be the worst store I've ever been too. Don't observe hours posted, shelves never stocked, employees provide zero customer service. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. This place is pathetic, I'd give zero stars if it was possible.

I must say that dollar general is greedy. This store is always super busy since family dollar closed. I use to be assistant manager and I loved working here but sadly when the manager takes off all the time and employees don’t show up and you can only have so many staff no extras. I got stuck working most days from 6 am or earlier till midnight for a month straight I lie I may have had one day off. Not good to wear out the ppl who actually care about store and customers and most times I wa s working alone. So yes sorry there is only one register open and I’m the only one there but other person called off and couldn’t get help from anyone else. Sorry they line is long and you have to wait because one person is recovering the store (we had a decision recover the store nightly make the dm happy or help the customers yes I mostly helped the customers I’d take the scolding for my store not being fully recovered) I showed them a trick to do to call the other person when lines started but apparently they stopped doing that now. The store does look great every time I’m in there. Although the last two times I’ve been in the one register went down. Put one moreRegister in there is a spot for it. Heck at Christmas I’m sure you could use all three. To new manager keep up good work but employees are not always so friendly 😩🙄

Wonderful selection of home decor. You can buy groceries here as well. They even sell baby products and cosmetics. Their prices are very reasonable. I shop here often.

Dollar General is a convenient neighborhood store. It has just about anything you need at a fair price. Store can get crowded at times especially during day hours but otherwise good, efficient service.

Every time I go into THIS locations no matter what day it is always packed with truckloads of products.....makes the store a mess no one can fit thru all the lanes...it is so dirty and unkempt...what is dollar General doing to fix this mess..Hello..do something..please...do better!!!

Let me just say.. it's sloppy the store aisles are crowded hard to even walk or reach for anything. Employees and management's can be rude always on the phone for personal business, only one check out open while the other employees are smoking out side. Line of ten people and employees walk right by. Not even bother to help customers out. Return policy awful.I only go there if needed...it's by where I live.

Stopped into this store for a few necessities while out of town, and was appalled at the filthy condition that this store was in. Nothing stocked correctly, no room because stock was blocking isle's. As unorganized as I have ever seen, just down right dirty! I won't be entering this store aggainMy hometown Dollar General is a castle compared to this one. Extreamly clean and organized.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I walked away from my first visit disappointed. Sale signs on the items I was purchasing were from the previous week (ending 4 days ago). My 25 item purchase ended up being 3.

Shopping on a Friday evening at 7:00. Only 2 employees in entire store and 9 customers in checkout with only one register open and one employee stocking shelves . When I asked if it was possible to open another register I was told " not really my problem " store was a complete mess with carts in all isle blocking customer access.

Worst Dollar Store, all merchandise all over, merchandise cart in the middle of the isle, trash bags filled with trash in front of the cashier lanes. Last time I went the person in charge to open the store never showed up and cashier had to call someone else to open an hour late from hours of operations. I used to be a manager in a Dollar Store in Florida and that store were so neat and clean outside and inside, this store is so fitlhy outside and inside. Disgusting! I looked to see how much they pay to may be apply there and try to shape it up but paying $7.00 an hour for this store conditions is not worth it.

This particular location in Highspire had neat shelves and an overall clean and well kept appearance. I was not able to find the door stops that I was looking for but I was able to enjoy my experience and speaking with the store manager.

Gotta watch prices here. A lot of times you can get the items cheaper at the grocery store. On the other hand, they do have a lot of things that are very well priced. Customer service in the evening is not the greatest.

Nice clean updated store. Need better markings where the line starts to check out because people get confused and have the line going down aisles and the cashier can't tell who's next.
