We had a wonderful stay at Country Cottage Lane! The home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space to spread out. The wrap around porch was stunning and the property well maintained and just beautiful. The board games and video game in the Rec Room were an unexpected bonus that our group of 5 fifteen year olds and two parents really enjoyed. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped-we cooked every night and it was easy to do so. The grill is a nice touch too! We had a couple of very minor maintenance issues during our stay that were quickly addressed and the maintenance people were very friendly and considerate. We will absolutely choose an Aunt Susie’s property for our next trip to the lake! Thank you!

An Incredible cabin with gorgeous views of Lake Raystown. We had our wedding there on a beautiful day. Enough room for 30+ guests to enjoy our reception comfortably. We had an ama I had experience and will absolutely be renting again in the near future.

Country Cottage is wonderful. Chef kitchen, wrap around porch, peaceful and quiet. The kids loved the bar/gameroom that opens to firepit with Adirondack chairs. The Pac Man and Super Pac Man were icing on the cake to the 5 wall games and trunk of games. 5 Star *****

Our stay in the cabin was absolutely delightful. The views from the house are breathtaking, and when combined with the serenity of the surrounding area, gives the feeling of being on top of the world. The house was in wonderful condition and the hosts were extremely attentive in confirming we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for any type of event or gathering.

A good house to accommodate 14 people comfortable. Suits best for staycations. It has nice living area, sun room, kitchen and 5 bedrooms with a huge campsite in the backyard. There is also a garage with game arcade and bar setup. We spent a weekend working retreat/work from mountains

Such a cozy place to stay! It is way back in the Forrest, so some may feel lost in a Forrest, but it is very nice and well kept. The WiFi was not very great and reception in the area was very sparse. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice home, really close to the Lake. Home was fully remodeled and had everything we needed in it. Spacious dining and living rooms for family time. Huge kitchen with everything needed to cook in. Washer and dryer in the unit. They even had arcade games on the upper floor which was a bonus for the kids. They also accommodated my booking on very short notice. Would definetly stay with them again.

Gigi's Place is a beautiful home tucked into a quiet hillside. You go outside in the morning and hear birds and the quiet as you take a breath of the fresh mountain air. Gigi's place is stunningly decorated and comfortably accommodated our college girlfriends group getaway. The kitchen is large and open and well equipped for sipping wine and cooking with friends. We even took a few walks down and back to the lake near the Shy Beaver Boat launch which offers a stunning vista of lake and mountains. A lovely get-away weekend can be had by all!

Lovely cabin, KC-Camp was clean and comfortable. Just about anything we could have possibly needed was available in the cabin, and even though our weather was a bit rainy, we enjoyed sightseeing in the area as well as hanging out with our friends in the morning and evenings. So much to see at Raystown Lake and Huntingdon area, as well as great food available! Our days ended up being chillier than we hoped, but both inside and outside the camp we had opportunity to relax very comfortably. Hint to future campers: Triple check the refrigerator. We bought whoopie pies at the Amish flea market - and left them on the door of the fridge. Sigh!We will happily choose Aunt Susie's accommodations any time we are in the area.

Perfect place for our motorcycle group getaway. There were a lot of places to visit in the surrounding area. The house was clean and decorated with quaint antiques. The garage was a great "man cave" for the men in our group to relax in.

Great cabin - our family stayed for a week. It was a pleasant surprise to find there is a loft space in the cabin. The kids loved sleeping in that spot. So quiet and secluded, but close to the Aitch boat launch. We would definitely go there again!

We stayed at the crown jewel vista and we’re absolutely amazed from the time we drive up. The property was cleaned and well maintained. As soon as you took a step in the door the whole house looked amazing and the view was absolutely stunning. There were so many activities provided to keep you busy. PLUS a sauna. The communication was amazing! This particular home could sleep 15 people easily! We will be back. Thanks for the stay!!

Such a beautiful and clean place up on a small hill. It’s very private and surrounded by trees. There was enough space for all 9 of us and we had a good time taking a walk around the pond near the area. Raystown lake was about a 7 minute drive from the house and it was very nice. There was also a grill and a fire pit available for use. 10/10 recommend.

I enjoyed my weekend at the Hideaway vacation rental. There was a bonfire outside that my family and I enjoyed. The inside was nice a clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our family meals. I will look forward to returning to the Hideaway or perhaps even try out the other house in the area.

Family stayed at Sandy’s Lake Chateau. We had our dogs with us and the grandkids. They loved the “glamp rooms”, fire pit, swings, and the smaller den in the back of the house with the tv and their PlayStation. There are many games and books. The booking was easy and owner/agent was very responsive. Place was clean and well stocked. The adults loved the coffee bar. The only negatives were the spotty internet, phone reception and the water. Bring your own water and firewood.

Stayed at the Crown Jewel Vista. I was impressed with the customer service. I had a few questions about the accommodations. My phone call was answered promptly by a real person my questions were answered professionally.I wasn’t disappointed with the property. Gorgeous views of the lake, extremely private yet close to town. The house was extremely clean. Sheets and towels were provided by the owner and everything was wrapped from the laundry so that you were sure it was freshly laundered. This property and this company does not disappoint.

Absolutely beautiful property. Honestly, pictures don’t do it justice. The views were so much more captivating in person. The home is spacious enough for everyone to have their privacy, so that was really nice. We will definitely will be returning.

This listing was perfect when we decided on planning a family trip of 15 people to Raystown Lake. We wanted the feel and environment of camping without the tenting. We searched for a house that could accommodate all of us that had heat/AC, running water, enough space in case of bad weather, a decent yard/outdoor space, dog friendly and was decently priced. This house was perfect for our group!!! This house has plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have their separate spaces. The 7 kids had the bunk bed room and they loved it! We brought a blow-up mattress for that room but they had 2 extra folding beds in the hallway closet that we could’ve used as well! There are 3 full bathrooms which was perfect for when everyone needed to shower! They are small, but they do the job! It is an older house, so we appreciate the architecture and layout. They provided linens- they provided us with the softest sheets for the beds, just be sure to bring your own bath towels (because they are very small) and hand towels (we ended up using the bath towels they provided as hand towels since we didn’t bring any). I would also recommend bringing some extra kitchen towels since we cooked all of our meals and had dishes to wash frequently. We were very impressed with how clean the house and rooms were. The beds even had bed bug covers and mattress protectors- they take cleanliness seriously! The living room was huge and the perfect size for our group! The big wrap around couch and recliners gave us plenty of space to all hang out together. The kids loved that area and played trivia games on the TV throughout the weekend. The kitchen is a great size for a large group and has a large farmhouse table in the middle that we used to set food out! It was also nice that they had 2 sinks! The deck and outside were perfect as well! There were plenty of tables (3) and chairs out on the deck. They have a grill that was the perfect size for cooking for a group. They also had a fire pit that we used to make a fire and have mountain pies. The yard was even large enough that we brought our volleyball net from home and set that up to play! The boys even threw baseball a few times. Last but not least- the outdoor garage/hangout spot was where we had so much fun! It was perfect for in the evening and night- we played board games, drank at the bar, watched TV and even had the wood stove fire going our last night when it got chilly at night. This house is awesome for a large group! The location was also perfect! We were an 8-minute drive to the lake/bike trail/visitor center. We were a 10-minute drive from Walmart (which is where we did all of our grocery shopping) and across from the Walmart is a Sheetz and a beer store! Everything is there in one location. Don’t be confused when you drive up to the location- it is attached to the post office but it wasn’t that busy when we were there and the post office employees were so nice! There was enough parking for our 5 cars that we had.And now the hosts- The hosts communicated immediately before we even booked it, inquiring about their pet policy. They communicated a month before, a week before and then days leading up to our first night. They had all the directions spelled out so easily. They even messaged me on Airbnb and checked in on how our first night went, second night went and even stopped by to ensure we had enough plates/cups etc. to accommodate for our group. Saturday night was our last night there and we wanted to use the wood stove since it was cold out. The information that was given didn’t mention anything about the wood stove use, so I messaged them on Airbnb and they got back to me literally in minutes. They were so quick to respond and so helpful! No issues popped up when we were there, but I know if it would have they would have been quick to respond. We had so much fun and made so many memories that we already booked the same place for next year and added another day to the stay. They were so easy to work with when re-booking. I would 100% recommend any houses by Aunt Susie’s’ Country Vacations!

Fantastic stay for the whole family and pet friendly too! Perfect location near Raystown lake. Quiet and peaceful setting. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to navigate.Outside areas well maintained with a lovely stone fire pit with plenty of seating. The rear deck has a nice Weber grill and seating for six at the patio table.First floor had a nice bar setup, which was perfect for the adults to relax at after the kids had gone to bed, without worrying about sound carrying. There were no mosquitoes, so I know the grounds had been treated thoroughly for pests.Plenty of space to park.WiFi, cable and a landline were available for communication needs. Nest thermostat kept the whole place cool and comfortable.Overall, I would recommend this place very highly and I will book again for next year!

So out on a whim my husband and I decided to go to Raystown,Pa. I have never been and have seen so much on social media that I wanted to try the boating lifestyle out. We stayed at the Crown Jewel. It was the BEST place I’ve rented in years. It was clean and the view. Wow. Words can not describe it. This place is a MUST see and visit. I wish I would have taken better photos. I may be able to go to my husband's phone and put some on later.
