I should have done this a long time ago. The folks at the Karns Deli, at Hershey are absolutely amazing. I live in Elizabethtown, and I call to order hot wings very often. The Deli Staff are always so helpful, and pleasant. It is never a big deal when I call. They always ask -- how much do you want to order and when do you want to pick them up? The wings are fresh and very meaty. I will be ordering more wings, and I will tell others about Karns. Keep up the amazing job!!

This is a fantastic grocery store. Inside this store is a Cafe, cleaners, and wine and spirits store. They have a great salad bar, deli, pre made foods bar, olive bar, fresh meat, and seafood counters. There is also a good bakery and they have bulk food items as well. Always great deals on meat and goods through out the store. There is plenty of parking. They have a rewards program for shopping. I have to give a special note to the meat department, they will never let you buy any meat that isn't the freshest it can be. Thank you guys... Great store for your shopping needs.

Harrisburg store has very bad produce. Brown lettuce, rotten apples. Expensive greens. Bought Italian sausage that tasted like over salted fat. No sausage flavor. Put it in the trash. Will be looking for better products at other stores

Large selection 4 pack flowers 4/$5 some bigger pots of herbs & flowers $8 and a small but nice selection of indoor plants(inside Karns)only $4 including Pothos, Ivy & Aloe. The 4☆ was only because they were out of the 1 item I went for, their store made shoefly whoopie pie. Reccomend them and this Hershey location of Karns🙂

I prefer Karns over other grocery stores because they have Halal certified chicken. The discount and offers on chicken is also reasonable.

I used to go to the cafe all the time since there was iced tea on the board the lady behind the counter had something up her rear end and said if you want iced tea you going to have to pour it over a cup of ice yourself how rude

I shop here regularly because it's close to my home. Also locally owned. Their selection of packed generic bulk foods is outstanding - barley flakes, dried pineapple, milk & dark chocolate options for half a dozen kinds of nuts. Good prices, too. Recent store renovation has expanded number of aisles and added more space for Eastern European foods, organic produce, and dairy products. Deli and takeout is extensive and staff is helpful.

Bring back the old sushi! Was a go-to weekly dinner/treat but since the change the quality has become very poor & generic. IMO went from being better than some restaurants to being the worst overall.

Great store! We visit often for lunch. Nice variety of fresh cooked dishes. The meat selection is top notch and they have a variety of organic and natural foods. Friendly and helpful staff as well as a rewards program. I wish the salad bar was back.

One of the nicest grocery stores I've seen! The deli is amazing! Excellent hot foods too! Their butcher cuts excellent meat and they have great seafood! I've never found it an inconvenience to go, even though it's out of my way. Keep it up!

Very clean, and nice place to pick up something to eat when on the go! People who work there were very kind and told us about different places around the area when we asked for directions. The selection was very large as well

The last few times I have gone in for last minute items were not great. First it smells bad as soon as you walk in the doors and into the produce section. It smells strongly of a seafood odor. I had gotten a head of lettuce on two of these trips and it looked okay on the outside, but as soon as I cut it open, there were multiple spots already starting to brown. The produce in general is limited and nothing great. The deli meat is just okay and I don't like that they do not put the date it was packed on the label, only the sell by date on the ready to go packs of deli. I prefer fresh deli, but most of the time the deli is busy or no one is paying attention. Nothing great here honestly, but the odor is a bit concerning. I think I'd rather driver a little further to Weis for last minute items now.

Meat department issue @ Hershey location: went to buy smoked turkey thighs. Asked young man behind the meat counter if it could be butchered into 3 parts & he said, yes. He took it back to the butcher then came back to tell me the butcher said I'd have to wait, as the butcher started bringing other meats out to the display floor, etc. Ok, not a problem. In the meantime, another customer came to the counter, selected his meat & asked if it could be butchered. The employee took that customer's meat to the butcher and guess what, the butcher immediately butchered that customer's meat. I thought for sure mine would be tended to next (even though mine had been given to the butcher about 6-7 minutes before the other customer had even made his request). Nope...after the butcher completed the other customer's request, he went back to doing other things, leaving my smoked turkey right there on his table. I politely asked the young man that waited on me to bring my meat to me. He was visibly uncomfortable because he witnessed this situation and he began apologizing for what just happened. I thanked him & told him it wasn't his fault. So next I go to the manager, thinking they would surely march my meat right back to the butcher and have him complete what was asked of him, BUT nope. The manager stood in front of me, drinking his coffee as I explained what had occurred and his reply went like this... Sorry this happened. He should have honored your request immediately. Then told me to have a good day.UNBELIEVABLE! Moral to the story: When shopping at the Hershey Karns & are a person of color, be prepared to be devalued & dismissed.

The meat selection is usually good from the butcher. The prepackaged meat can be limited. This is a nice neighborhood grocery store, but some items are not available and we go to the Giant for those items.

I had ordered a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving...it was far from fresh..it was frozen at one point. Skin color was darken and other part's It was suppose to be12 lb turkey. Who ever butchered it did a bad job. The neck was a mess.. no liver part's and again discoloration..wow..at the price I paid I didn't eat it..disappointed.

This is the cleanest grocery stores I've ever been in. Gentleman in hit foods was wonderful. The cashier was very pleasant. This is over a half hour from my house, I would be willing to make that drive for the service we received today, also for the cleanliness.

The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. There is both local and organic produce. The meat section is great and they frequently have great specials on steaks and/ or meat packs and sometimes really inexpensive lobster, which they will cook for you at a modest surcharge. Fish is good and bakery is excellent- especially the whole wheat bread which they will slice for you if you ask. The fresh flowers and arrangements are also beautiful and made with love. There is frequently excellent music piped in and I’ve found myself dancing in the frozen food section. It’s locally owned and worth supporting. It does look a little dated, but it’s part of its charm.

Store was well staffed for a Saturday. We were taken care of at the deli counter and front checkout IMMEDIATELY. Produce looked really good. Everything is well organized and easy to locate. They also have a lot of good brands and choices for items you can't find other places. Definitely a good place to shop.

Been going here for a couple years. Average $150 a week. The main thing I enjoyed about this store was the butcher. I went Sunday and got a dozen wings. I smelled something funky and didn’t even think of it. Went to make them Monday (less then 24 hours) and i gagged at the smell and almost threw up. I called store and the lady said to bring them in and will give refund. I went in and the very strange and awkward manager wouldn’t give me my money back. Keep in mind this store tags the bags of meat when you buy it with a date and time with the karns logo. Absolutely disgusting customer service will never go again. My family could have gotten very sick. NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE.

Very nice store. Lots of choices. Wonderful meat counter with very knowledgeable and helpful butchers. Very fresh meat, lunchables, deli and seafood; well stocked Wine Cellar and snack items. The gentleman, Joe took out our groceries. He was a delight. Very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. A real asset to the company.

Karns is my new favorite place. The meats, as mentioned, are the best in town. Their selections are always fresh and the variety is second to none. I am a steak lover and they are the only grocery store around with Delmonico steaks, which are my favorite. Their organic section is excellent and they have so many awesome local businesses in the mix. Service is always great and friendly. 5 stars out of 5.

Amazing meat counter and weekly specials! Dog owners using the raw diet,, chicken specials are great. Seafood counter has fresh fish! Plus they now raise their own beef!

Love it here!! I don't get starred at for wearing decent clothing and having clean hair (unlike some other places I've been to in the area - no joke tho). I feel at home here!! I don't like their pricing system tho, it's confusing when the big number under an item is your savings, not the price...
