They advertised mulch on sale on their "new" website. When we got to the store they would not honor the sale. Showed them the screen shot from their "new" website and still wouldn't honor it. After calling them twice, I was told to hold on and no one got back to me promptly so I hung up.I enjoy shopping at small businesses but will no longer go here.

All employees friendly except Russ. Told owners more than once regarding his poor attitude.After multiple negative encounters with "Mr. toothache" with regrets after nine year I will take my roughly $2k-3k per business year elsewhere. He gives a black eye to an otherwise fine local biz.

I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years spending thousands on a monthly basis with all the repairs done to rental properties and personal properties. They just lost a loyal customer over almost $300 in paint. The paint color was incorrect and I still had to pay for it!! I paid and left the paint at the store, it will be the last purchase from this very faithful customer... so sad smh.....

Moved here recently, and have stopped in several times so far. They're always helpful and have offered suggestions/advice, and know where to find things within the store very quickly. They carry a surprising array of items for the home, are convenient, and their prices are fair. Glad to have them nearby, saving me trips to the big box shops.

Typical rude and unhelpful staff. They just don't seem to care about their demeanor to customers. They have a habit of posting rebate prices but the two times I have purchased rebated items they cannot provide a rebate form. They don't do anything to help or offer a price discount or refund. They don't even care if the posted rebates prices continue knowing they have no rebate forms.

This Hardware store is a gem with thousands of items. Very convenient. The box stores don't have what is stuffed in this store's inventory, especially hard to find items. Also, if you need one screw, you CAN buy one screw. A real plus. This store is Number one in my book. Go shop there, you'll see and won't be disappointed. Cheers.

I love my Saucon True Value store. Always friendly, always helpful - and if they don't have in stock what you need, they will check to see if they can get it from the distribution center. I have no how many times this store has saved me a trip to Allentown or Quakertown. They have well seasoned and experienced staff, many of them were contractors, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make your home improvement project go smoothly.

* I am not related to, nor have any business affiliation with, this store. *I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service I receive at Saucon True Value hardware store in Hellertown. Every time I have gone in with a problem, the staff has helped me find the easiest, most effective solution. Perhaps even more important, they spend the time to explain how it should be done. 2 of the staff in particular - Rod and Ken - have helped me tremendously - enough that I was able to do some repairs myself and thus save labor $. I just finished installing a bracket in a corner that 3 different handymen had told me would require extra bracing, or installed at a different angle, or some other more complicated solution. Turned out that I just needed a longer screw in order to catch the wood in the corner. If they don't have what I need, they will direct me to one of the larger hardware stores. I find their total attention to customer satisfaction refreshing. I would also like to note that I have always been treated with respect (sometimes humorous), despite being a female with enough hardware knowledge to get myself in trouble.

Saucon True Value is a smaller store but they have almost everything you need to get your project completed. They are not like the Home Depot, or Lowes where the staff sees you coming and runs away. If you have any questions or need any help, their staff is standing by and eager to help. Everytime I am in the store, one of their associates asks if I need help and will help me find what I am looking for.

I ordinarily go out of my way to support local businesses, but after today's experience, I'll only go here in an absolute emergency. Two of the items I bought in December have stopped working, and when I went to buy replacements, I was told they were a seasonal item, and their inventory of these was in storage in the back of the store. They were unwilling to retrieve them as they would have to dig through three pallets of stuff. Only when pressed did they offer to order them from the local warehouse. The local warehouse was out of stock, so they said I'd have to pay shipping from a regional warehouse if I wanted to replace the defective merchandise they sold.So - for the owners in case you read this review:1. I'm a local homeowner that spent money monthly in your store. Perhaps the $20 sale today wouldn't have been worth your time to look for the items. But I was spending money in your store on a monthly basis for a variety of home stuff. You've now lost my business.2. Label your boxes and pallets when you store stuff after season. It should have taken you 5 minutes to find what I was looking for.3. The only advantage you have over the Amazon and the big box stores is to provide outstanding customer service. They have you beat on price and selection. Today you completely failed and lost my money to them...

Horrible experience. I was there to rent a truck and the truck was in the lot but he could not find a key for the truck so I had to get a bigger truck for more money. I was there for 20 mins while he was taking customers before me because he said truck renting was part time and his business comes first. Must be because I was the only Hispanic in that store. I would NOT recommend anyone to come here because they won’t treat you with respect.

I’ve been dealing with retail for over 60 years, the manager of this store is by far the rudest, uncooperative, unhelpful person I have ever dealt with. Never again. I’ll drive the extra 7-8 miles to Lowes. Not helping this ‘local’ business.

It was Amazing. They use to be located right up the block from me. They moved back around 2008 I believe and I never knew where they moved to till i stumbled on to place.It's my hardware place again.
