Trying to get prescription filled at this pharmacy is like a full time job. Between not answering the telephone, and the rude pharmacy techs you get when they do. I was told my prescription would ready on Monday. I call Monday, then I am told Tuesday. Call Wednesday told they can no longer get that medication anymore. I ask to speak to pharmacist, she says he is to busy. I tell her I was just told on Tuesday the med was there in a different strength. I had my doctor call in for that strength. Now they can't get any? She tells me the pharmacist is to busy to come to phone. I said I will wait. She said I am sorry we can not get that medication and proceeds to hang up the phone on me. Besides being told different information from each person i speak too, i have now waited over a week patiently being told it's coming in, and then treated rudely and not allowed to speak with pharmacist. This place needs new help or customer service training! I called Giant pharmacy they answered on second ring, discussed my situation with them, she told me what she could get in and how long it would take. I am moving all my prescriptions to Giant.

Don’t buy anything from these people if you can avoid it! They over charge for everything. Covid test kit others charge 15.00 or less they charge 24.00. Way to profit on the sick.

The pharmacy is chronically and critically understaffed. I have a monthly prescription that is never filled on time even though I've set it up to be automatic. It's still on me to remember to request a refill; I give them a full extra 24 hours to fill it and it's STILL not ready on time. Also, prices will fluctuate from month to month and they'll say it's your insurance even though nothing has changed in coverage. I'm currently standing on a line with 2 people in front of me and I've been here for 15 minutes with no end in sight. Lastly, If you need a vaccine, even with an appointment, prepare to wait 30-45 minutes.

Why is it that none of the cashiers are EVER behind the cashier?? Literally have to hunt someone down everytime you want to check out. These employees are in zero hurry to offer any type of assistance to customers

The customer service has tanked here in the past 6-9 months. You can expect to wait 30+ min to pick up a prescription that has already been filled! The staff (not including bathe pharmacist) don’t know how to deal with multiple customers or how to effectively deal with an issue when it arrives. I’ve had to come back 3x in one day because they couldn’t find it recognize I had more than one rx ready at a time. I’m switching to another pharmacy. I don’t have time to waste with their incompetence. I don’t say this light either. I’m not one to leave reviews but I’m so fed up and frustrated I wanted to warn others so they don’t waste their time too!

I am so tired of Rite Aid trying to manage my medication by putting it on auto refill when I have not given them permission. Over the years, I cannot tell you how many times I have requested not to have auto refill yet they keep finding sneaky ways to do it. This time it cost me money. I wanted to wait until January to refill prescriptions because it would be covered by Medicare whereas in December I was in what is called the donut coverage. Rite Aid, without my permission or knowledge, had put a medication on auto refill.When I picked it up in January they still charged me for it because they had auto refilled it in December. This should be illegal and I’m going to keep complaining about it until it stops.

I wanted to transfer a prescription refill the assistant was just trying to push me along rush me out and repeated a few times that it couldn't be done from there I had to go to the other Pharmacy First. I knew she was wrong went to the other Pharmacy they told me that Rite Aid should call them they could do it right over the phone I tried calling no one answered hung up try it again have to ringing a long time someone answered sounded like the same assistant, and put me on hold. She never answered my call. I had to hang up after waiting so long. Got my prescription at Giant they're very helpful there in Coopersburg

On a Sunday evening, waited so long at the front register with not a soul in sight and no way of alerting any "customer service" person -- I use the term very loosely -- that finally we *phoned the store* from the front counter and went through the phone tree to tell someone -- an employee clearly *right behind* a closed door to our right, because we now heard her voice -- to say we had been waiting 10 minutes at the register with no help. Did this person come out to help? No. Did the person she called over the intercom quickly appear to help? No. Was there a bell to ring, or any reasonable way to let people know we were waiting? No. My child had walked the store looking for someone, and not a soul was to be found. I used to like this store, but I now think there is truth in what some other reviews say, that employees decide who matters and who doesn't and make that ULTRA clear in their rate and manner of service. I'm not a pushy person and would happily wait a few quiet minutes for someone to show up. This was totally different and very weird. And the indifference of the ladies working here was *very* clear and very, very unpleasant. Go to the CVS or to the Giant. Or go to another town! Do not go here.

I love that when i need something from a drugstore (besides a prescription), that I know that Rite Aid is open longer than CVS in Hellertown. Staff is always friendly and will have a friendly chat about whatever and always feels like home! Thanks Rite Aid!

I insisted on this pharmacy because being close to my house and the woman who works at the counter was always very friendly and efficient. But I should have taken the advice of Google's various reviews here. I lost over $60.00 here, that's too high to throw in the trash. I will detail the problem so that other people understand. When you go to the pharmacy and buy prescription medication you pay a co-payment to your health insurance. THIS VALUE IS FIXED, each time you make the purchase, no matter how many pills were in the bottle. The pharmacy told me that there were not enough pills and they sent me only 3 pills and I paid the full co-payment as if there were 30. Then I went back to get the remaining 27 and they charged me the same co-payment amount. That's when the Pharmaceutical informed me that it doesn't matter how many pills are in the bottle, the co-participation value is the same! I was paying my co-payment double every time, they sold me the piecemeal prescription. It's not my fault the pharmacy doesn't have the 30 pills prescribed by my doctor! But I was paying for their their disorganization! Sorry for leaving this bad review for your business. But no one cared that I was paying double for the same amount of prescribed pills.

Kind of rude at pharmacy, I understand they open at 9am but the pharmacist answered another customers questions so I thought maybe they opened early but when I approached the pharmacist he didn’t let me speak told me I could not make a purchase until 9am, I understand but then why were you not rude to the other customer? I found that to be a little rude and I don’t think I will be coming back here I like cvs better anyway

This is the WORST Rite Aid I've ever been to. Unfortunately, it's the one in my town. The pharmacy is so slow and the customer service is terrible. They never answer the phone if I have a question about my medication. I've never dealt with such a terrible store. I will be switching my pharmacy after using Rite Aid for the past 8 years. Stay away!!!

Save yourself the headache and head to another rite aid. This pharmacy is terrible they billed my insurance incorrectly and argued with me when I was unable to refill my prescription when I was out of medication due to an error on their part. The pharmacy tech is a young rude disrespectful argumentative girl and I have since switched to a lovely pharmacy in Quakertown. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a refill absolutely crazy and uncalled for the way they treat people.

We came here for COVID test and the pharmacy staff raided, they need to learn how to speak to people. The government should take the contract away and give it to Walgreens were the costumers get treated with an outstanding service.

I have a crazy upper respiratory infection and the pharmacist was so quick to fill my scripts. He was very nice and fast. I thank him that I didn’t need to be out too long. I just wanted to go home and rest!!

was at Rite Aid today Friday Sept. 23 at about 2:30 pm asked if the girl at the counter could give me a better price with Good R X she said she could not it was to much trouble very un professional just a bad attitude then I went to Giant the girl was very nice also told me upfront she could get me a better price she did and when she rang it up even better price Ty Giant, Rite Aid left a Bad Taste.

I think this Rite-Aid has good deals on a variety of things and, I also find most staff to be friendly. I would give five stars but it seems like management keeps this Rite-Aid under staffed one person per shift.
