The store is always clean, and service is always speedy! I must admit I use their Military discount with my Weis membership card on Thursdays!You should try the Sushi too because it's always fresh and delicious!

I enjoy shopping here, hope they return to opening at 6 am again. There are so many nice workers there, the meat cutters are great, especially Paul. Their prices are on the high side. The rewards points are great to use for gas.Thanks Patricia Smith, I agree masks should be a personal choice, for employees and customers.

Great service every time i shop there! Good deals and rewards help alot ,when raising kids. My wife and I really enjoy going there. been a loyal customer for many years. Pretty good donuts too!!!!!

I tried the spicy tuna roll and crunch tempura roll. I gotta say, it's better than the sushi restaurant that I used to go, and most definitely better than other grocery sushi around! It's a bargain for the price.

I am so glad that the fire did not completely destroy this place. I love it. The beer Cafe has a really good selection. Also it is a terrific grocery store.

Everything is clean and fresh. But absolutely overpriced. It's a shame. Example: a pack of yoo-hoo cost $12.99 here but only $8.99 at Walmart. They wanted $65.00 for ribs!! I only will go there for birthday cakes as their cakes are the best.

Self Check is a nightmare, completely nonfunctional software, constant error messages and delays. If I wanted to work at Weis, I'd get an application. Busy Sunday and you have ONE human checking out with a line around the store. Multiple staff just standing waiting on the next self checkout fail so they can fix it. How does this make any sense at all? Absolutely ridiculous system all around. Prices through the roof, I do all the work, and weis cuts staff yo sace money, seems like the customer loses all around... I'll shop elsewhere. Abolish self check!!

They always have something others don't in town, but they close too early for me. I like to shop at 9-10pm to avoid crowds, and they close at 9pm.

The re-opening shows thought was put into the layout. It now is a smoother flow with like items close by. However, with self checkout being pushed and cashiers more interested in chatting than working, the time to checkout is inexcusable. The number of available cashiers is too low. Still too few cashiers, but the pharmacy staff is outstanding. Confusing ham sale, but Karen in customer service was fantastically helpful.

I use the pharmacy in the Hazleton Pa store and I would like to say that they are excellent! The pharmacists Sara and Katherine are the best. They have helped me out many times. The rest of the pharmacy staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The best thing I could have done was switching to Weis pharmacy!

Store is very clean inventory is great. However there prices are much higher than other stores. Pharmacy employees and the pharmacists are kind and care about getting the medicines in that you made need.

Not nearly enough people at registers.Shelves have stock with dust and dirt on it.Sales fliers aren't the actual pricing, you have to belong to their club and scan a card to get fair pricing.Or do like I did and make them re-ring the whole order with the correct advertised prices. The staff aren't doing much else anyway 😂.

Self-Checkout software is needlessly aggressive and you have to buy an unreasonable quantity of items to get the sale price. I'll still come to Weis for the excellent pharmacy, but groceries are much easier and cheaper to buy at Walmart

This grocery store had friendly and helpful employees. As we were traveling, several of us visited the ladies' room. To be honest, the restroom facilities were clean, and all of us remarked on what nice facilities.

Our primary market, even though there are much closer places than the 25 minutes we drive to get there. Selection and prices are really good, and the cheese section and their seafood department are top grade. Plus, the cashiers are friendly and so good with bagging!

Priced higher than nearby Giant so we usually buy what's on sale. Clean and a good layout. We use the pharmacy there instead of Giant because there's never a line.

Walked up to the first worker I saw an asked where the rotisserie chicken was because I wasn’t familiar with the store…. Deborah dropped what she was doing and walked across the whole store to help me find what I needed…. Thank you Deborah for being kind and professional!!!!!!!!

Since it was rebuilt it's been great for quick shopping after work with self checkout. Added benefit of getting 10-70 cents off per gallon of gas when I refill with weis points.

I used to shop at a Weis store long ago where I lived. Since moving up to carbon county, haven't been to one. We stopped at this one in hazelton to pick up some items for Thanksgiving dinner. We needed some specialty supplies. Asking an associate where to find them. She told us where to go to find it. Shortly after getting to the correct aisle. The same associate showed up to make sure we found what we were searching for. She was very helpful, and friendly. As expected on the day before a holiday. Checking out was as fast as it could be. Given the amount of ppl shopping that day. Excellent experience, lots to choose from. Competitive prices.

Dropped in for some beer after a very long day of driving as we were moving across the country, great selection and very tidy. Only complaint really was the confusion in where to pay! The counter in the alcohol area was closed, went to the main cashier where they informed us we had to use the cashier at the deli. Lovely and helpful staff.

Lazy!!! 5 people standing around and they don't even help. So rude I read most of the reviews: and I agree with these people. Jeffrey Lahn , Beeg Richard, Celeste Montez and Craig Derr . This is just a recommendation , bring back live cashiers, for something goes wrong they always can get Help. If you have five people standing around doing nothing please have three registers thank you an asask.please stop being rude.

Rude, abrasive staff.....No customer service, no being polite. RUDE RUDE RUDE staff. Unfriendly unwelcoming store. Will never step foot in here again after deli manager went "Karen" on me for no reason trying act tough and rude over something tiny, minor and simple. Staff is poorly trained on how to interact with paying customers.

I don't know what happened at this Weis markets since it reopened. I went to the Bloomsburg Weis when hazleton burned down. Their employees are far more knowledgeable and so very helpful. But my biggest gripe about the Hazleton store is they only have 1 checkout person ringing out. Lots of people standing around and talking but no one checking. Bloomsburg has at least 4 people ringing up the groceries. I am now paying substantially more for my groceries and also have to bag myself. Give me a discount for that and I will do it gladly. As a customer, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5-10 min.(especially if you are in the valley) I assure you it is well worth the time!!Hazleton was always a great store for produce and service. Now the produce is terrible-try to find a celery sleeve, garlic, lettuce that isn't brown or old.
