I've been visiting this Giant for over 10 years and have only had minor issues which were my fault. The pharmacy staff is great too! They recently setup the car electric car charging port too.

I was walking through the store looking for my necessary groceries and I was disgusted to see this moldy pack of noodles. Not just one pack, but all the other packs like this have moldy noodles. I am utterly disgusted and shocked. I thought they were a clean store who cares about customer satisfaction, safety, and health. Check your groceries guys clearly they don’t do it themselves

I was ecstatic to find a Giant near us...but then this happened. I have Lyme and MOLD is one of the things that can make it worse. I bought and drank 2 bottles from my prior trip before seeing what was in these(drank em in bed/in the dark). We still had the old bottles in our recycling and saw that they were ALL expired by 1 to 2 years...and they had them on clearance to still sell them.Anyone who has worked in grocery should know that you need to rotate your stock, but that apparently didn't EVER happen with this shelf. We were Giant fans before this...but now our trust in Giant is shot. I still gag when I think that I may have drank a glob like this in bed. There was also a recall on this brand & date product for foreign materials being found in them. I have to reach out to the company to see if these bottles were part of the recall.Mistakes happen...but this was negligence for 5 bottles of the same water to be this far out of date. I understand that they may have not seen the 'phlegm globbers' that rest at the bottle of the bottles, but if they actually checked the items that they put on clearance, these should have been yanked before this had a chance to happen. Now we finally finally a Giant again, and we're too skeeved out to shop there now.Update.I bought and consumed several bottles of water that were expired by 2 years. Unfortunately I didn't realize what was in them until I bought more of the water...but this time there were foreign substances in it that looked like a jellyfish like 'prize' at the bottom of it that you couldn't see until it was shaken. My empties were in the recycling, so I looked and saw they were included on the recall issued in May of 23! Yet they still put them out on clearance for customers to consume. The store was supposed to get back to me about getting it tested(they called it trigage) as I have had a maddening ringing in my ears for several months now(after consuming 2+ bottles)...and the bottles were part of a recall that happened last year with the DOD.I am immuno-compromised and deal with PTDS that often wont let me leave the house and mold and other bacteria can have a lasting effect on my system with Late Stage Lyme Disease....and they know this, but now they are ghosting me after they took back the unopened bottles and said they would help me get answers.Unless they start to act like my health matters, I'm going to have to go out lawyer shopping.I'm hoping they reach out AGAIN after seeing this, to avoid getting lawyers involved. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT I CONSUMED.They also know I have phone anxieties and asked to be contacted via email....and still NOTHING.

I found the groceries and products I was looking for. Their prices are reasonable. They aren't as high as other places. Everything was good. However I found people following me around which is very uncomfortable. Also when scanning the products at self check-out, the computer was frozen very often, and kept repeating: please place the items in the bag, over and over again. So that was my experience

Not a bad little grocery store while should I say supermarket cuz they have more than just groceries they also have a deli with hot food section they offer laundry detergent and basic necessities soap shampoos and more and the prices ain't too bad they have a membership for bonuses you could order online and pick up curbside I may have wine and so on they deal with money orders cash checks as long as you have a check cashing card and a pharmacy most of the staff are friendly however don't go there very tired at 6:30 in the morning or you'll be arrested for as a quote-unquote said I was stumbling and felling an aisle and none of that occurred thanks Giant Great job keep up the good work Make sure us tired hardworking IT text to spend numerous hours writing thousands of lines of code get arrested in the morning right after we get off our shift for being tired from probably designing and building websites like yours 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Went in the day before Thanksgiving to check out if they had any fresh turkey's. Within 5 minutes of being inside, I was ran over with a cart by a guy. He ran over the side of my foot, and my body then turned it and ran over the back of my feet and my body. I was standing still and off to the side out of the way. The prices were very high compared with the other stores that I compared. I left immediately after being ran over. It was super busy and crowded, which I understand with it being the day before Thanksgiving, but I would avoid it like the plague because of the clientele. I would have to be very desperate to ever shop here again. I haven't had any issues shopping here in the past, which it was a few years ago. It is now on my list of places that I won't shop at in hazleton unless I am absolutely desperate. It's right under Walmart in hazleton for places to avoid. Shop at your own risk!

Having groceries brought over their Giant app is easy. Having packed groceries brought and loaded into your car is so convenient.

Giant is a great supermarket(store #6081). The food is always fresh. The bakery is awesome, if you get there either before 3pm or after 11pm you can find the best cronuts that ive ever tasted, i just wish that they had them all the time, but if they did id prob be very over weight by now...besides the decadent cronuts, the store is always well organized, and clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I also enjoy accumulating points during the month and using them a day or 2 before the end to get great discounts on gas.

Good place to shop have everything you would need in addition to a pharmacy, bakery, deli, And gas station. It's attached to other businesses like a laundry mat, CVS. The parking lot was just paved, there is handicapped parking along with handicapped ramps and motorized shopping carts.

This store is well run and clean. The variety is outstanding. Staff very skilled, helpful, and friendly.CAVEAT EMPTOR: The store is frequented by PICKPOCKETS. Not Giant's fault. Just bury your money and cards DEEP in your pockets. Don't drop a credit card. It won't last 3 minutes.*To me, shopping here is worth the one in 1000 odds that something bad happens. Just be super careful here and also everywhere. I had a card stolen at Walmart too, think I dropped it out while pulling a list out of my pocket.Sad how downhill our society has become due to income inequality. 90 % of the wealth is owned by 10% of the population.90% of people crawling around under the banquet tables of the rich fighting over crumbs that fell off from greedy scumbags.

Great grocery store. Always clean, fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Never any huge lines. Always a close place to park so you don't have to walk a million miles to the store. Plenty of self check out lines so you also don't have to wait around to get done and leave when you want to get out of there after shopping around for your stuff. Cause we all know that's the worst. After shopping then a huge line is just terrible. You don't got to worry about that here. I think they might have like 10 check outs. They also got a gas pump station in the parking lot. So if your looking for quick, good, cheap groceries for you and your family, go to giant. Best in the area.

I always go to the Deli dept here. There's a gentleman by the name of "Dave" who works in that department. I have to say that every time I go there and he's at the counter he is the nicest guy ever. He's great at what he does and goes above and beyond with his duties. He's always nice, friendly respectful and helpful. Hopefully he's recognized for his work and his respect for your customers. Great employee!! Thank you so much "Dave" and see ya again soon.

One stop shop. You can find anything you need. From fresh flowers to fresh baked bread. Plus, if you use your reward card, you get points to use for gas. That's a great deal. Love it..

I had a very unsettling experience at Giant in Hazleton earlier today. Bad enough I have to check myself out & in the process, I entered in 6 bagels that I had chosen, put them in my own bag that I brought. The employee who was watching the self checkers called over to me asking were there rolls with those bagels. I replied no, just bagels, she then proceeded to come over to me, pulled them out of my bag, checked them out & still questioned me because the Asiago bagels (2) looked more like rolls then bagels. I felt violated that she handled my product.
