We LOVE IGA! The staff is the absolute best... so friendly & everyone always has a smile on their face! Family owned/operated AND they are very community focused - big shout out to the Shook Family for all that you do! We are frequent shoppers (all of the time) but especially for lunch - if you go in without a lunch idea - you can always find something- love their chicken salad, fresh made salads, sushi & soup. Like so many other locals - we often can be seen at IGA multiple times a day!! They have a great beer store - very good selection of IPA options! They have their own line of spices plus Black & Brass AND Moka products! Great local grocery store!

In some ways this IGA feels more like a large convenience store than a small supermarket; they offer a little bit of everything for an awful lot of money but little variety. The store is clean, well lit, and the workers are friendly and helpful. But there seems to be logic to the layout, and this is again an instance of a local business that caters to the tourists of summer but which doesn't reward the loyalty of locals by reducing their very high prices in the offseason. The next nearest market is at least a dozen miles away, and IGA knows it so intends to make a killing with their monopoly. They should be better than this.

It's probably the best supermarket in the area, prices aren't the best for all things but the meat is generally fresh and decently priced. If you want something from the deli order ahead, they seem to prioritize orders over in-store customers, so you end up waiting 15 minutes for someone to see you.

Great theater experience. Discounts on Tuesdays. Comfortable reclining seats. Wrong business. This review was intended for Cinemark theatre in Moosic. But as far as IGA goes, they're an excellent store with an excellent meat department and senior discounts two days a week

The staff is the friendliest of any store I have shopped at. Produce is fresh with wide assortment. Shelves are well stocked. I have been using the Rosie delivery service for a while, it's wonderful! The picker does an excellent job and the deliverer (Kim) is very cheerful and puts bags on bench or brings them in. Rosie is perfect for me. I couldn't be happier with Lake Region IGA! Thank you.

Good sushi rolls and a good selection of fancy cheese..etc. This is my go to place for buying meats! For some reason I'm not a fan of the source from where they get their frozen shrimp (Go Weiss for that) but any other meat they have an awesome (very high quality) selection. Their prices are the best (for meats) in the area in my opinion. I have yet to buy something I'm unhappy with. The rest of the grocery is higher priced but they do always have good selection, especially for a smaller store. Customer service is always on point

This used to be a nice store, prices su k they know they got the people coming in from New York and New Jersey by the sack, so they charge NY city prices.I'll go to Weis any day rather drive the extra miles

lots of interesting unique items i haven't seen in any other stores and i shop at giant, shoprite, wegmans, target, costco, walmart, redners and dutches, clean & neat just a bit dated and narrower aisles but not much they can do about that. They seem to have everything you'd want. cashier was friendly

Still getting over the prices. So high. I cut back on what I really wanted to buy. Chioboni Yogurts, $1.79 each, Nestlé coifermate, original 32 oz, $5.19. I know its hard to compete with the bigger chains, but this is the reason customers will travel and support other stores.

Great place to shop. Not too big. I like it the most because the owner has a policy of employing those who might not otherwise be employed. He should get a medal and we should all shop there if only for that reason. But, in addition, the staff are very helpful and courteous, the selections are great and it is quick to get in and out.It is also kind of a training base for 'first time workers' and it's nice to see the High School kids working their first job.

Went here to get groceries for my family vacation. The people were so nice. Good selection. There was a worker there(wish I knew his name) who was so helpful. He really did go above and beyond to help us find things. He even helped carry and pack up the car too giving us little handy tips.

Well it's a pricey store but then again it's right near the water and ppl come everywhere up here during the summer so....I like the smaller hometown stores. I can NOT standing doing a marathon in Walmart just to get milk. I love the ppl in iga and some things there u can't find anywhere else so I'm pretty happy with iga

Meat selection needs some help and the prices are pretty high. Otherwise helpful people and plenty of selection.In reply to the inquiry I'll be more specific. The red meat only had one possible thickness of steak. I don't know anyone that goes out of their way to eat thin steak. A 3/4 inch or greater steak would be better. We ate the ribeye steak. A top sirloin would have been good too.
