I went into this store on 3/3/24 approximately 8:15pm-830pm to purchase a case of water. I went to the back to check but did not see any so I ask the blonde hair short night supervisor on duty today and a regular staff to please can they show me in the isle where the water was. The so call supervisor on duty tonight aggressively told me I quote “if you don’t see no water then there ain’t no water”. I was shock by her response. I then ask the other staff kassi if she can help me and she was so nice and said okay. We proceed to the isle and the Supervisor yelled out kassi name and the young lady got scared and stop to turn back around to go to her and I then said can you please show me the water I would appreciate it and then Kassi proceeded again to walk and show me while the Supervisor yelled and got mad and told her to stop and come to her now and don’t show me anything. I don’t know why I did not say or do anything to her. Anyway the water was showed to me by Kassi and I thank her kindly. The supervisor then stop Kassi in the isle and told her next time when she calls her do not continue to go she was not suppose to help me and I needed to find it myself. I then said please do not yell at her she was just being nice and helping me out. The aggressive supervisor then yelled at me and said you got something to say? Say it to my face! I continue to walk to the check out register that says cash and card only and ignored her and was talking it myself saying how rude she was. The Aggressive supervisor started to provoke me during the process and tell me if I’m talking about her to get out. Clearly at this point I realize she was upset and had a issue or problem and choose to take it out on me for no reason. I was provoke the whole time in that store and was extremely upset. I do not recommend this dollar general. They are horrible and under staffed, underpaid and will probably not do anything because they are desperate for people to work there. People work there and quit every day they have no long term staffs because they are so mean and rude. clearly the Aggressive supervisor don't like brown people the way she was so mad at me for doing nothing to her and just needed assistance.Everything is on camera! I hope the district manager see how the Aggressive so call supervisor provoke the situation on her job and how unprofessional she was to me and her staff. The only person who is nice was Kassi please don’t let that Aggressive supervisor treat her the way I saw her do to her today for doing her job. I hope the camera could hear the words she said to her in the last isle by the refrigerators. Disappointing!!UPDATE!! 4/24 NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT THE INCOMPETENT SUPERVISOR.THEY STILL KEEP HER WORKING THERE WITH NO DISCIPLINE. SO BUYERS BEWARE ESPECIALLY BROWN PEOPLE. I WAS DENIED HELPED FOR NO REASONABLE AND JUSTIFIABLE REASONS.

Purchased a Bluetooth speaker 2 days prior from a dollar general just a bit down the road and it would not hold a charge. I stopped in here to exchange it, to be fair I didn't have my receipt with me, however this dollar general told me I need to go back to the one I purchased it from, but I stopped at a different dollar general and they where happy yo exchange it or offer me store credit. I got the feeling the employee behind the desk here just didn't want to deal with me, highly recommend going to one of the other semi local dollar generals for better quality customer service.

Nice staff, but this dollar general has the worst layout I’ve ever seen. It always takes me twice as long to find something here as it does at other dollar generals. I was looking for scotch tape the other day, and instead of being in the office supplies section, it was with duct tape near the automotive section. There is no logic here.

Pretty good selection. Great spot to stop in during the summer to grab pool toys and floating for the kids. Overall solid spot for cheap holiday decor, bbq accessories and last minute items.

This Dollar General is fantastic! My bf & I are in town staying @ his family cabin so we needed several random things & was unsure if we'd find everything there or have to go elsewhere - well that wasn't an issue at all! We found all that we needed & a few extra things lol. I was extremely pleased with the selection & very happy with the outdoor mats we found. They definitely were the best/unexpected find! 👍

.Dollar Generals are popping up on every corner similar to the old 5 and dimes back in the day. They are really nice if you get home from shopping and forgot that one item. You can usually find it at your local dollar General as long as it's not the pot roast you were going to make for dinner. Lol There are many times when I needed a last minute greeting card or sugar for baking and I didn't want to run all the way to the grocery store. It's especially nice here in the country where everything is not around the block. You can usually find one halfway to any grocery store and they absolutely carry a little bit of everything. For seniors that don't drive they can pick up food for dinner, bread, eggs and even socks last minute. It's a great little store and they show up in the strangest places. Not an entirely bad thing though! Check it out. Good prices too, although I wouldn't do all my shopping there, but they do have a good coupon program too!

The Dollar General had better fix their credit/debit card machines, I don't like putting my card.through 6 times to.get one transaction to work. I told the cashier I better not have a double charge from this. She did not respond. What bothers me was when it said it was processing, she cancelled it and made me start over. She very unhelpful and not friendly.

The staff at the Hawley location are friendly and helpful. It's such a popular place, they sometimes run out of items. The convenient location saves miles of travel to Walmart. Nice place to shop. Thanks for paving the parking lot!

Granted, I wish we still had a food market here, but they do have a lot of the basics, so to speak. The staff are always friendly, they've always got a good stock, and they're extremely helpful in locating what you might need or want. I can call them and ask if my favorite product is in stock, and if it is, they're more than willing to put something on the side for me until I get there. The prices are extremely competitive with stores like Walmart, and they've DEFINITELY got the best prices on just about everything they sell, out of any of the stores nearby.

This is the nicest dollar General I have ever been in. It has a great selection of items, especially food. The day we went, they had some great sales going. The store was super clean and the staff were friendly and helpful

The store is clean and organized but I bought 2 ceramic mugs and the cashier did not wrap them. When I picked the bag up and heard them clank together I said, "you didn't wrap them?" She rolled her eyes, moaned and went to the next customer. Very rude and non caring.

If you need something you forgot to buy at Wal-Mart it is the place to go. Hawley is dirty looking. The other dollar generals were much cleaner. But again if you need something they usually have it.

It's got the typical stuff but it always feels crowded because so much of it fills the aisles. Not easy to navigate when there are people in the store. But I think that's true of every Dollar General I've been in.

This is a local store in Hawley borough. Since it stays open until 9 p.m. it has been a life saver when I need milk or medicine at the last minute. As for the staff, very unprofessional. Parents, please do not send your kids by themselves to shop. They are falsely accusing kids of either opening boxes or "possibly taking something" with no proof.

Clean with basic items. My complaint is the bathrooms are always out of order. Not a pro when you have small children.
