Great service. Fast and great selection of ice cream. Reasonably priced. A must visit on your trip to Lake Wallenpaupack.I own a cabin in the community of wallenpaupack my reviews are honest. I am happy with community helping each other out. But I must post what I experienced.

Our favorite ice cream place! So many flavors of soft serve to choose from! My wife's favorite is either the salted caramel or tiramisu soft serve. I just wish there were more sugar free options since I'm diabetic but the sugar free butter pecan is good anyways. If they would add at least one sugar free soft serve option that would be awesome :)

Prices are a little more than anticipated (2023 norms anyways), the tourism overwhelms the area and made the wait time a little excessive (when tourism season slows service is basically instantaneously) but I won't knock a local shop for something out of their control, my review is mainly to inform how bad tourism can be and it's not the workers fault, they are always fast and pleasant, don't knock them for being busy.For anyone looking to get a quick ice cream, this is the go to place regardless of wait time.

Great ice cream at great prices! The homemade strawberry shortcake topping was fantastic and love the cherry dipped cones. Serving sizes are huge I think I had a half gallon of ice cream on my large cone 😂

I have been a customer here for years. My wife and I both ordered a flavored soft serve (PB) and was handed small plain vanilla. Told the woman who served us and she rudely said "you are wrong". I asked her to give us the flavor we ordered. She rudely said "here" with the remade even smaller cones and it was vanilla again. C'mon!Save yourself the headache go to the ice cream shop down the road called Gresham's. It's higher rated with better views.

The Dairy Twist in Hawley is, hands down, the best soft ice cream in the area around Lake Wallenpaupack. It's creamy and delicious, and the portions are generous. I've ordered medium cones at various places and most of them are really small. Not at the Dairy Twist. Top choice for this gal!

Best blueberry cheesecake ice cream lot of cake. Stopped by for the best blueberry cheesecake ice-cream and my fiance had the oatmeal cookie. Definitely a must stop if you are in the area. We always stop by when we are in Hawley. You will never br disappointed.

This is THE place to go when near Wallenpaupack. Tons of flavors, HUGE portions, and lots of custom dishes. Just had the S’mores thing, which was a large portion of vanilla ice cream, enormous gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough (best I’ve ever had), whipped cream, and an actual supersized fresh toasted marshmallow on Grahn crackers. Amazing. Always stop here with the family when in town. 👍🏼👍🏼

I thought the prices were a bit high until they handed us our ice cream. Huge serving of very good ice cream made and presented very well. Will definitely be back. I will say the music was loud enough to be an annoyance while trying to talk to my family in the seating area.

Stopped by on our way back from the public beach today and we were very happy. There were soooo many flavors to choose from! Hard ice cream, soft serve, friendly staff, reasonable prices, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended the salted caramel bananas foster hard ice cream..... AMAZING! If we visit the area again we will definitely be back!

Great ice cream / soft serve spot at the north end of the lake. We went here twice during our recent stay. My wife loved the soft serve and the flavor options were plenty. Staff was helpful and friendly, and we will definitely visit during our next trip to the area.

Awesome everything from food to ice cream. Delicious and good quality. You get your moneys worth. I go at least every other night in the summer. Funnel fries are the BEST!!! And all of their ice cream. Staff is friendly.

We stopped at Diary Twist the day before going back home from vacation and I am glad we hadn't gone sooner. I would've been a few hundred dollars deep in ice cream because it was SO good! I had the apple pie sundae and it was warm apple pie topped with ice cream, caramel, and whipped cream. It was the best dessert I have had in a very long time. I wish I would've known about this place sooner so I could've tried different flavors! Go check this place out if you are in the neighborhood! You can't go wrong here!

This was my first time visiting Dairy Twist and it was awesome. Not only did the place have the look and feel of ice cream shops from my childhood, the ice cream was top-notch. I took the whole family and everyone got something different. It was all high quality and delicious.

Amazing service, plenty of space though limited due to the Covid pandemic. Hands Down, THE BEST selection of ice cream I have ever seen with amazing prices for what you get! Literally there is Something for everyone! I would recommend pictures of some of the types of ice cream styles as my kids didn’t know what some were and felt overwhelmed, but that is what parents are for! No problems with parking either and the employees came out to make sure everything was constantly wiped down! Thank you!

Great little spot for some cool treats. They offer 24 flavors of soft serve. They're willing to work with you if you want to change up the menu slightly. Can't vouch for their seafood selections but appear to be clean and always friendly. Worth a stop.

30+ unique soft serve flavors and you can twist any two together! Not sure how they do it, i've never seen that anywhere else before. Also a great selection of Hershey's scoopable ice cream and the best banana split I've ever had. Stopping here is a must after a day on Lake Walenpaupak or if you're just in the area. The best part about it is that it's a good old fashioned mom and pop ice cream shop so you'll be supporting local business!
