They worked on my cake for my wedding. They had also made a sandwich platter for me and my bridesmaids the morning of, while we got ready. The food was delicious and the cake was such a unique flavor. It was a ginger pear flavor and the icing was amazing. The cake was beautiful. Their staff was very helpful and followed up on their order with me. They also gave us a tasting of their carrot cake when we visited because it was not given in our tasting sampler and we were interested in it. Made it much easier to make our choice!

This place has been here for years. The food is AMAZING hands down. You will end up smelling like burnt breakfast food though. Still worth it for the food though. They also sell baked goods to go. Highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant, so buttery and so delicious. Prices are higher than you would pay at Dunkin down the street but you get what you pay for.The staff is absolutely awesome and will try and work with you.They also have an electric car charger.Parking: Free electric car charger.

Loved this place. My vanilla chai latte was delish and the chef's whim quiche wonderful. My spouse thoroughly enjoyed his coffee and the hint of maple syrup on his breakfast sandwich was a delightful surprise. After living in the Hawley-Honesdale area for a year I have finally found the coffee lover’s coffee shop. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with cement floors, wood shelves and tables, and brown leather couches, the seating is as warm and wonderful as the Moka coffee. The pastries rival any of my favorite coffee shops across the country, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Also, there is an electric vehicle charging station in the back.

This little coffee house was awesome. The food was great, the coffee was great, and the staff was great. I went 2 mornings in a row. They sell a bunch of odds and ends like maple syrup and chocolates. I got "The Philadelphian" which is an egg sandwich topped with cheesesteak on a bagel (I substituted the bagel) and a fruit danish. I WILL return.Dietary restrictions: They sell vegan friendly and gluten free products along with regular products.

I Attended the open mic, kids are not welcome and it was very obvious. My girls were quieter and more respectful than the adults, who were talking over the musician. One person made a comment about hating kids, the person running it told my kids to behave even though they weren't doing anything wrong. Felt very uncomfortable, we weren't wanted there at all. Far from cozy. It's sad when full grown adults bully children. My girls did not deserve to be treated that way. Stuck up people and atmosphere all around.

Not a kid friendly atmosphere at the open mic, terrible experience my children were both nothing but well-behaved the whole time but were ridiculed by a couple people in the audience and apparently awkwardly being parented by asking if they were going to behave by the guy running it and he even asked them twice if they really wanted to be there. I can't believe I actually hyped this place up the way I did. I am a musician that represents mental health awareness and this is not the venue I choose to frequent anymore. I didn't even know about this situation until after I played. I wish my wife could have told me about this ridiculous behavior before I plugged in because I wouldn't even have played here at all. This is not her fault but their fault!!!! You people should be ashamed of yourselves. It is also VERY obvious that this open mic is way below my level. This place is not worth my time or effort and is nothing but an extreme example of what I am fighting against through music. I am sick and tired of people putting other people down especially children!!!!! Don't let that pretty building fool you people because it is oozing with hatred and negativity.and the guilty swear their innocence quick in the comments 🤣 this place is a bad joke

Lattes and baked goods are great—if you get what you order. A four person order seemed to completely overwhelm the staff and only two of the four in my group received their orders. When confronted about not receiving items I was actually yelled at that it was handed to a member of the group.. weird being no one received it. Naturally the receipt shows only a total and not an itemized list but nevertheless I love to pay for items not received and then get yelled at that I’m wrong.There’s one exceptionally loud mouthed employee there that not only killed the relaxed coffee house vibes that the ambiance suggests, but seemed to stress out her employees and coworkers as well. She screamed at staff and customers alike and has the customer service skills for a dingy diner instead of a cozy coffee shop. She seemed to be one of the managers or higher up positions too, which was mind blowing.

Great destination coffee shop that also serves delicious pastries and other yummy sweet treats. And for the savory lovers you can find several really nice options, several types of fresh quiche, egg sandwiches and so much more.If you’re looking for gifts for friends or family there are many great items that would be great as a gift or can be put together in a basket for special occasions!Superbly conceived coffee shop at a very cool historic silk mill. Hard to believe the main building burned down years ago, but so great it was reconstructed in a historically accurate manner.

Cocoon Coffee House is a great place to stop! It is located in a small building outside of the Hawley Silk Mill. I like to stop and grab a sandwich and treat - my favorite is the Vegan Peanut Butter Blondie - it was off the menu for a while but I am so glad they brought it back! Their sandwiches are very good too! I stop and grab coffee in the morning & a scone. Also a great spot to pick up treats to bring as a house warming gift.

It’s a great place, but it’s way too expensive. A piece of a sandwich on its own is $13, no chips or anything and with a coffee is $20. So, that’s a $20 study sesh for a busy lunch-less college student like me who has been supporting this small coffee shop since it opened and through all its changes. I don’t plan to return after this, there’s plenty of affordable sandwiches in the area.

My daughter and I went to explore parts of Hawley which is the town my older daughter recently settled in and decided to stop in for coffee. We were absolutely not disappointed. The menu was a decent size so we had good choices. We wanted a big chain Starbucks kind of coffee at a local business and we got coffee that was much better than Starbucks. We also got a cream puff and a chocolate sprinkled donut which was out of this world. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were very comfortable and felt welcomed here. As we were leaving it started to get busy but everyone was helped with a smile. We will absolutely come back here.Vegetarian options: They had milk alternatives which was great and I also saw vegan dessertsDietary restrictions: There are vegetarian and vegan options which are great.Parking: We had ample parking and even when it started getting busy people had parking spotsKid-friendliness: Definitely enough room so that kids can sit comfortably and have enough wiggle roomWheelchair accessibility: There is definitely enough room to accommodate wheelchairs and people with disabilities without an issue

Amazing!!!! Love Cocoon. The staff is THE BEST. I was a vendor at the Silk Mill Craft Show and stopped in Cocoon to grab coffee and lunch both days. Even with a packed house…staff was so friendly and helpful. They worked together as a team and appeared to be having fun. (Settlers you are fortunate to have this groupon your team’!!)Loved the vibe!!, Coffee, egg sandwich and turkey club were delicious! Lauren you rock! Thanks for the magic ice too. Came here during our weekend trip and it was well worth it!! We ordered coffee for at least 6 of us at once, and even went back in line to pick up some really nice looking treats. The employees were so kind and patient! Gave us all a really nice memory not only during our visit, but also after when we finally tasted the delicious baked goods!

This is a splendid little place built on the remains of a silk production factory that even hosts a small shrine to its origins. It's a quaint coffee place free of franchising clauses with a certain natural touch and attention to the desires of its patrons. The employees are considerate and understand the nuances of its flock. When I'm in the area, I come to Cocoon regularly.

Italian style Coffee and pastries are good! They have multiple flavors syrups for those who like a different taste to coffee just like the setup in Starbucks but better. The lunch menu has a variations to choose from and have more than one soup on hand. They have a selection of beers and snacks to choose from as well. Very good setup in Hawley. My only complaint is the design for ordering and pickup . I saw more than one customer forgetting their pastries after paying because the setup is not designed well enough for the proper exchange of goods for money. I don’t know if the pickup area should be the end clockwise instead of counterclockwise. Perhaps the design is not conducive for that setup.
